Very upsetting to pay a cleaning fee and it not be clean upon arrival for our stay. Lots of broken items and bowel movement smeared on the floor. The hot tub smelled like mold and not a drop of chlorine in it. Cute cabin but it needs some TLC.

Had to ask for access code to enter cabin, air conditioner not working upon arrival! Called service man, waited for repairman. Would not consider high end as advertised! Dirty socks found from previous guests! Water hose for hit tub just left laying around the deck, no cover on the electrical box nearby. Not enough towels, closets contents are literally just thrown all over, vacuum left behind door, not even cord wound up- not considered high end at all! Location nice, would stay at different cabin in the future.

My family of 6 enjoyed our week here! The owners were very helpful. When one of my children messed with the thermostat and shocked the system. The owner was vigilant and had someone come out and remedy the situation even though it was late at night. Can't recommend this cabin enough. Will definitely be coming back

The property is nice. Had everything we needed. Definitely could have been cleaned better.Myself and my friends are in housekeeping as well. Other than that, our stay was exactly what we needed.

Nice Family Cabin

We enjoyed our stay here. There are some things that could be updated in the cabin, but overall it was very clean and cozy. The host was very helpful and wanted to ensure we had a great experience. Location is great as well- a secluded, mountain view, but only a couple miles from the main strip.

Mountain getaway

Wonderful view. Peaceful. Had an awesome time in the hot tub. Grandson enjoyed the game room. Shopping and restaurants not far off at all. The cabin was extremely clean.

Wonderful cabin and location!!! Had everything we needed and was close to everything yet far enough out we felt like we were the only ones there. Felt very safe and right at home.

Needs a lot of TLC

Had to ask for the entry code when we arrived, was not informed before arrival. The outside stair rail was broken off(they did come and fix) not enough towels and they argued that they left them when they cleaned.( we had 4) Couldn’t use closets because when you open the doors stuff fell out at you, looked like everything was just thrown in. There isn't an air hockey like is pictured upstairs and the couch(pullout bed) wasn't even put together, they had just thrown sheets over the top, the twin bed needs a mattress not unless you like sleeping on springs. The deck band board is coming apart from the actual deck, you can see the complete nails not attached to anything, the owner needs to know about this for repairs, not safe to use deck or hot tub for that matter. we were gone most of the time and only saw the deck a day before we left.I did ask if the cabin would be decorated for Christmas and was told yes, but the only decoration was a wreath on the front door and a miniature tree on the mantel.

We had to make calls to get code to get in the house. Rail is broken on steps. Tiny parking space. 3 spoons in kitchen. Bathroom entry’s are inside bedrooms.

Family vacation

Overall we had a good stay. The parking was a tad difficult. After a note from the neighbor we just made due. The internet was in and out. The upstairs pull out couch was broken. So those things were just annoying. But livable. The worst part was the air went out on our last night. I understand things happen. But it was a miserably hot way to end our trip. We ended up not being able to sleep and leaving at 4:00am for a ten hour trip home.

Very nice well mantained property- had a minor issue upon arrival- owner had great prompt communication-with a maintence person there within minutes. Canin is not far from pigeon forge- but far enough out that it is away from the hussle and bussle in a very nice gated community. We will definately be back- hot tub was amazing- little arcade game was alot of fun- wrap around porch was great!

Great location

Wonderful location as we were in town for Cal Ripken baseball. The whole team stayed in this neighborhood and it was close to everything, but still felt isolated from the bustle of Pigeon Forge. Very responsive host, clean cabin, and the game room/loft kept the kids entertained.

Overall Good Stay

The cleanliness could have been better. It wasn’t dirty by any means but didn’t have the clean sparkle. Most areas of the cabin seemed outdated and the porch furniture was not clean. We had to use the water hose to rinse them off. The trees are overgrown and could not access the trash bins. Poison Ivy growing between wood slats on porch that we also washed away as some in our group was very allergic. We had an enjoyable stay, but some up keeping would help the appearance.

Waste Cabin we’ve ever stayed in!!!

Horrible experience from the start. Had to call and get the code to even get in!! Never received check in are check out info!! Walked into the cabin it was a complete mess! With pieces of wood and styrofoam all over the kitchen on the stove and cabinets up stairs all over the pool table. Furniture was knocked over upstairs. Pull out couch is broken so it’s just in the way. Called emailed and messaged on VRBO owner wanted me to send pics said they were gonna send cleaners never did! And wouldn’t answer my calls are emails. Cabin isn’t clean at all!! The floors were nasty! And there isn’t any cleaning supplies are even a mop in the cabin! WiFi went on and off the whole time! Tub in master bedroom is broken. The jets do not work! The beds upstairs the sheets weren’t even on the bed! Just laying in the made bad. Our family has stayed in many cabins in Tn and Georgia! And this was the worst experience we’ve ever had! Save your money! If you’re wanting to relax on your vacation and not have to clean as soon as you walk through your door! For what it cost a night! You expect more than what we got! Went back and read all the reviews and wouldn’t have booked this place if I’d done so in the first place! FYI since the owner doesn’t respond to there guest! Your problem is a squirrel. Which I completely understand when your in the mountains. But you need to have someone check your cabin before there check in!! This was completely unacceptable!! Wonderful trip

We had an amazing stay at Happy Trails. The cabin is in a great resort in an awesome location. Four adults stayed comfortably and enjoyed cooking here for our stay.

Beautiful Cabin, Needs Some TLC

Beautiful cabin in Bear Creek Crossing. Living room furniture being replaced on November 9. Really needed. Lovely neighborhood high up in the Smokies. Close to restaurants & shopping by the back roads. We are Senior citizens and the steps and terrain around the cabin were hard to navigate. Wireless internet was good. 4 people on it and no problems. It was the best temperature regulated cabin we have ever stayed in. Great fireplace. Large bedrooms with King beds. Bed linens need replacing. Baths and kitchen had nice towels and plenty of hot water. The cabin’s cleaning service needs to do a better job of cleaning general areas. Baths were clean and kitchen . Cobwebs around fireplace. Pool table and games in loft but we didn’t use the area.

Wasn't ready for guests

While we really loved the location, hot tub, and layout of the cabin, we unfortunately arrived to find 2 visibly broken couches. The sectional in the listing photos had the middle part busted and touching the floor with the metal bars exposed and the upstairs pullout was stuck partially open with the broken hinges sticking out. Thankfully our kids were older so we could keep them off those areas but I can't imagine having arrived with little ones. I told the manager and they just replied they were aware. There was also a screw that was sticking up from one of the kitchen chairs that cut my husband through his jeans when he sat down. The smoke detectors were not attached and the deck had 2 hoses left laying out across half the wrap around porch. Again, I'm so glad we didn't have little kids. Managers were informed about all of this with no more of a response than thanks for letting me know. It truly looked like they weren't expecting guests even though I booked months in advance and had recently asked about parking.

Lots of broken stuff

When we arrived the hide a bed couch was broken couldn’t use video game was broken then go to hot tub to turn it on and it wasn’t working either but he did fix the hot tub only got to use it 2 days though the recliner were broken the couch was worn out in the middle it was sunk in and I paid almost 300 a night and we stayed 4 nights I thought maybe he would have offered a discount but didn’t
