Tässä suloisessa kolmannen kerroksen Cabana-hotellissa on oma parveke, täydellinen keittiö ja näkymät upealle pihalle ja uima-altaalle. Olet lähellä kaikkia parhaita tapahtumia, kuten 30A Songwriters Festival, 30A Half Marathon, Seeing Red Wine Festival ja paljon muuta. Does the job, even if they don’t.

The location of this condo makes up for the lack of follow through from Vacasa. Upon arrival we didn’t have what we needed to make the foldout couch into a bed. We contacted Vacasa & they said they would send the correct size sheets & never did. The condo itself is sparsely equipped with the basics, but not nearly enough towels for even the minimum amount of guests suggested on the listing.

Dirty and No response from rental management

First the good. This is a beautifully decorated condo in a great location. Within walking distance to great restaurants and two ice cream places. The beach is beautiful and the walk there is not even 5 minutes. Unfortunately the cleaning was not that great. There is a white slipcover couch in the living room that is seriously stained and did not look clean. We never sat on it our entire trip. All of this is could be not a big deal but the true issue is the lack of any response from Vacasa. Vacasa asked about the cleaning once we arrived. I sent my concerns and never received a response. I followed up twice and never received anything from the local management. In addition, we put our towels in the shared washer in the laundry room/trash chute and while they were washing the door was locked. It took 20 hours for the Vacasa team to finally follow up with the code for the door. We spent an entire day with no towels. All in all, this is a wonderful condo but the local management is severely lacking.

Fit our needs

This condo for what we needed and I don’t have any major complaints. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms and kitchen were clean upon arrival. The floors may have been swept but it was clear they hadn’t been mopped in awhile. The remote for the tv had something sticky on it. I found the broom and had some disinfectant to clean up the bits that bothered me. The shower head was like a pressure washer, could definitely use replacing, though I suppose it got the sand off us easily. The kitchen is VERY sparsely stocked with dishes, utensils, etc. We made due. The two gulf place beach accesses were nice though only one had a working spigot to clean sand off upon leaving the beach. Restaurants nearby were nice to be able to walk. My kids especially loved Pecan Jack’s for candy/ice cream at the end of the day.

Not clean

Upon arrival the floors were nasty , definitely wasn’t cleaned. We swept up a whole dustpan full of sand , my child found two boogers on her sheets when she unfolded the bed. The white couch was absolutely disgusting !!!! Pee stains on it and smelled liked pee ! There was also a review left in the guest book that said the same thing about the couch and they visited two - three weeks ago and it still wasn’t replaced. The location and condo unit as a whole was very nice but definitely was very very dissatisfied with the room.

Perfect for Family of 5

This could not have been more perfect! Walking distance to everywhere, perfect amount of space, loved the washers & dryers on our floor! The private beach access was awesome and so was the pool. We loved having shops, restaurants, coffee shop, ice cream and more literally feet away. Our condo was clean and had everything we needed and more! Plenty of room for 3 kids and myself & my husband. We will absolutely be booking again next summer. THANK YOU for an amazing trip!

Great spot!

We parked the day we arrived and never got back in until it was time to leave. Location is convenient to food and drinks and is a short walk to the beach! We will be back.

Great Access!

We stayed here for five nights in June, and it turned out to be a great spot for our time. We had a subpar experience with cleaning upon arrival...floors, bathrooms, etc. We spent some time cleaning it ourselves when we got there. However, Vacasa was very attentive to the situation and corrected the issue. The location to the beach is awesome. Less than a 5 minute walk. Close enough that we didn't even bring a cooler. At lunch, I walked back to make sandwiches and brought them over. There are several restaurants within walking distance, and a short drive to seaside! There was a noise issue our last two nights with the arrival of new guests above and beside us. There is a quiet hours supposed to be in place from 10pm to 8am, but we heard jumping, yelling, screaming, playing above us until 2:40 in the morning our last night. The one difficulty is having to go through a property manager that isn't always on duty. There really is no one to report the noise issue to so we just beared with it. Our 6 year old didn't get much sleep. The neighbors next to us enjoyed their cigarettes on the balcony which made it unpleasant at times when trying to sit outside. Overall, though, we did have a nice time. The arrangement is good for a family with younger children. Our daughter loved the bunk beds!

Place was convenient and we loved the short walk to the beach! But condo was not clean!

Food stains on kitchen counter, the fridge shelf was broken. Mold/mildew on beach bag hanging on wall. Lose shelves in kitchen I thought were going to fall!

A couple suggestions

A decent place to stay for a few nights. Only complaints were that only 3 towels were provided and the bathroom sink was clogged so the sink flow was slow. It needs cleaning. The rug in the living area is filthy and probably doesn’t need to be there. Everything else was good. Kitchen and appliances were good and clean. Bedroom and mattresses were good. Had to restart the WiFi once to keep the internet going. Vacasa messaged me that someone was coming to upgrade the door keypad. That never happened. Well... the keypad appears the same. Didn’t have a problem with it tho. Laundry facilities were good though one of the two dryers didn’t have heat. Beach access was good. Parking is good.

Location

Great location - love the area with shops, restaurants, private beach. The balcony was peaceful with the pond and palm trees surrounding and partial view of ocean. The unit was nicely decorated and we appreciated all of the extra sheets and towels. One down-side is that the beach service was not included in the unit (as it is for some other units in Cabanas), so you either have to pay $35/day for the service or lug around your own chairs/umbrellas across the street to the beach.

Wonderful stay highly recommend

We had a wonderful stay. The pictures here are outdated. They did a wonderful job decorating the place. We were pleasantly surprised. There was white bedding sheets, towels, and couch. They had beach towels, chairs, and an umbrella for us to use. The balcony was perfect. The location was the best part. It was right across the street from a private beach. The unit was also next to a shopping center and had coffee, bike rental, and restaurants next door. It was really nice. The ocean was perfect. Water was so clean and blue. I couldn’t have found a better place to spend 7 nights at. I would re-book this place. Covid update: I love that this condo was in a more quiet area. Not as many people walking around. But when we did go out, not many people had masks on, especially at the grocery stores or restaurants.

This is the first time we’ve ever been disappointed in a rental. Tiny bugs on bath floor, lock kept dying so would wait a few then try again, (forgot to report either bc we were so busy, but if we had, the staff would’ve been right on top of it), the kitchen cabinets had huge portions of paint peeled off (not intentionally;-), the patio furniture was minimal (2 seats) and had stains/cigarette hole, and there was hardly any furniture to accommodate guests. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
