Really great area. 5-10 minute walk to get to shops, beach, dining in any direction. Size was decent and parking was good. Only issue we had was the WiFi was not good and neither was our phone service which was annoying. The home next door was also in the middle of construction which woulda tasty around 7am loud work

Severe and Active Bed Bug Infestation

Our May 16-18th stay, which was supposed to be a relaxing and stress-free escape, quickly turned into a health and safety nightmare. The unit had a serious bed bug infestation, confirmed by presence of live bugs, multiple painful bites we suffered, and pest control inspectors scheduled by the property management company.Despite showing evidence of infestation and the negative impacts it caused, the property owner only reimbursed us the rental costs, but refused to cover any of our bed bug-related harms and direct costs we have suffered from since. The consequences have been extensive and remain ongoing:Health impacts: Painful bites, allergic skin reactions, and psychological distressWork disruption: We were forced to take work leave time at a significant cost due to days spent decontaminating everything we broughtLabor and cleaning: We had to thoroughly clean and isolate every item we traveled with — including clothes, electronics, shoes, documents, and more — to avoid bringing the infestation in-homeFinancial losses: Replacement of luggage and bags; dry cleaning, cleaning supplies, sprays, and storage containers; ongoing concern about home contaminationThis is abject failure to meet the most basic standards of cleanliness and safety. The owner's refusal to take responsibility is unacceptable, and the lack of support has left us unjustly burdened with the consequences.Stay away from this property - or any other listing under this host.

"Disappointing Stay: Mold, Noise, and Safety Concerns

I stayed at this property, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The smell of mold throughout the house—including the mattress and bedding—was overwhelming and even made me feel physically sick. The water pressure was incredibly low, and there was no hot water, which added to the discomfort. The room was small and cramped, offering little space to relax, and there were no overhead lights by the door, which made navigating at night inconvenient.To make matters worse, there was a construction site next door. Workers sat on their truck beds outside my bedroom window, talking and laughing loudly as they waited for their crew to show up at 6 am. By 8 a.m., the sound of chainsaws disrupted any hope of peace. Walking past the site felt unsafe, as the workers would whistle at me, creating an uncomfortable and stressful environment.I contacted the host to request a location change. They were very responsive and helpful, but the new property was located 5 miles away from my family, which made the situation less ideal. While I appreciated the host's efforts to assist, the overall experience was negative due to the property’s numerous issues.

Misleading title

We go to Rosemary Beach every year, and enjoy staying in Rosemary and having access to the four pools. I booked this in a rush, based on photos, title and price. Shame on me for not reading the fine print, however the name IS misleading. I feel the owner should call this the Winston Carriage at INLET beach since it is Inlet and not Rosemary. You have no access to the Rosemary pools or beaches. It is right in the border of RB, but the name should reflect the actual location being Inlet. The carriage was very clean, but not very well stocked. There is no freezer so you can’t have ice for your drinks. The bath towels are tiny, and there are no beach towels. No hangers in the closet. No washer/dryer and nowhere to really hang wet bathing suits except for the teeny bathroom which has just enough space to hang towels. It is a very small/tight space (even smaller than the photos look!) but we made it work. I think it could be a great space for a couple or a family with one small child. It was cute and bed was reasonably comfortable and the walk to the beach was quick and easy, however we would not book it again just based on the things mentioned and mainly because I feel the title is intentionally misleading and there’s no need for that.

Great location- very easy to enjoy beach and Rosemary Beach town. We had issues getting pull out bed to open and woke up every morning stuffed up, think place needs a good deep cleaning and check filters.

Charming Carriage House

Wonderful little carriage house right in close proximity to all the fun things in Rosemary Beach. Everywhere we went was only a couple minute bike ride away. The house itself was perfect for my wife and I. The space is very well thought out. We would definitely stay at this property again when we come visit next.

Our stay was amazing! The location of this house is unbeatable. 5 minute walk to the beach and 5 minute walk to the heart of Rosemary! Truly cannot beat the location. It was clean, and we had plenty of towels. I would absolutely stay here again!

Nice little house

We stayed for 5 nights. I think the best thing about this property is it’s location. Very close to Rosemary beach. Very close to beach. Property is very small. It’s very ideal for a couple. You can book with kids too honestly since you spend most of your time outside. Bed turned to a king bed which wasn’t that bad as well. Since space was very limited I would get rid off the table under the tv and the Bambo chair. They took so much unnecessary space. I wasn’t with internet connection. I wish it was better but not the biggest deal. So overall I was happy with the property.

The Scoop

The good news: Location, location, location. Easy walk to Seacrest, Rosemary, and beach. Property was clean. Bed was super comfy and linens soft! The bed set up is very efficient with hidden storage below and beneath the headboard. Lots of electrical outlets make charging multiple phones, ipads, and laptops a breeze. AC worked like a champ. Property management checked in often. In other news: Need a smart TV. Minimal cable channels so get ready for no ESPN, no HGTV, no FOX, no CNN, no channels available beyond 3 local, cspan, WGN, HSN, QVC. Thankfully we were not in the room that much but plan on being prepared to stream any channel beyond these. Couch and area rug were all stained and the chair in the corner looks like a cat has sharpened their paws on it. Only 1 mirror in the entire place and as indicated in the description, there is no washer/dryer or freezer. Overall, this place was pleasant and we enjoyed our stay. The important aspects, like location, bed set up, and very efficient a/c, are already built in. With a few minor updates/upgrades this rental could be exceptional!

Perfect size for our getaway!

We enjoyed our 4 night getaway! There are a couple things we think would take this property to the next level! Black out shades for the windows because we were awakened every morning around 5:45. A large mirror on the hallway for an additional makeup and hair station. Lastly, the mini fridge is an upgraded version but the lack of a freezer is a real inconvenience. Thank you for a lovely experience!

Great location

Traveling solo to see family in the area and it was the perfect spot. Clean and secure. Walking distance to excellent food and grocery store close by when I felt like cooking. One of the rare public beach accesses within walking distance. No freezer and could be little bit noisy from main house and house next door ( comes with staying in a tourist area though) other than that it was a great place. Will stay there again

No freezer therefore no ice!

I would not stay here again as the listing didn’t specify that the guesthouse only had a dorm size refrigerator with no freezer section. This made it necessary to buy a bag of ice every morning at the convenience store down the road. The kitchenette had the bare minimum and the bathroom didn’t even have soap! Also, they were renovating the downstairs area which included sawing tiles every day of our stay from 6am-6pm!! Fortunately, we could not have had more beautiful weather so spent most of our time away from the cottage-

Great location!!

Quaint, clean and great location! Bed was comfortable and bathroom was a nice size. My only comments would be to bring some 3M hooks for towels in the bathroom (no hooks are supplied). Also no shower storage to put your shampoo, conditioner or other toiletries. Had to go on the floor. Would be nice if a hook could be added to back of bathroom door, some additional shelving added and maybe a mirror somewhere outside the bathroom as well. Overall would definitely come back and would recommend others here.
