Home needs improvement

When we first arrived the Master bedroom was not clean. The Grill did not work! The dishes weren’t cleaned I had to re-wash every dish before using. The House itself seems like it needs a lot of fixing. I was walking barefoot and the edge of the rug by the front door was peeling back and I stepped on the carpet tack strip from it being exposed.

Medium sized house with water issues

Top two things to know:- It's not 4400 square feet, and not really a "large" house by Phx standards. It's 2300 square feet, and I assume the rest is counting the patio (which is lovely). - The water issue is a real problem. It's not just slow; there's no reliable way to get hot water in any faucet in the house (other than the master, where there's a hack posted). The owners must do something to make this not maddening for them that needs to be shared with the renters (or fix it!).Other than that, the house is fine *for the price point* and we would probably stay again if the water were fixed. The good: The backyard is beautiful and the location is convenient to lots of things. The beds and couches are comfortable and the wifi is strong. Vacasa was responsive (if not helpful on the water issue).The annoying: It's an unrenovated 1975 house; thin windows, weird doors, absent smoke detectors, marginally functional drawers. The pool pump sounds like an old man hocking a loogie every time it comes to the surface, and landscapers come at 7:30 on Saturdays (see above re thin windows). The nice desk pictured has been replaced with a table. The master bedroom has no dresser and the closet is locked so there is nowhere to unpack. No dealbreakers as long as you know what you're getting into.

Delightful Family wedding

We were on a visit for a family wedding. The property was large and accommodating for many family and friends who had travelled for the occasion. The property was lovely. Everyone enjoyed the pool and the yard. The location was fantastic as we could get everywhere we needed quickly. We would stay there again.

Clean but dated.

Clean comfortable stay. Property is definitely dated but clean. Pool was nice but in rough shape. We did use and enjoy it. 2 Nice TV rooms so we could split up to watch things.

Sad I can't give this property 5 stars

This home is beautiful, clean and in a great location. Also, Vacasa was wonderful to work with. My only issue is the water never got hot enough for a good shower. I called Vacasa and they were lovely and quickly tried to fix the problem but said the system in the home had a hard time producing hot water in the winter. So if you stay at this home in the winter with temps under 70 then beware. Otherwise, it's a great home.

Beautiful backyard

The backyard is truly what makes this home. The house is clean but pretty outdated. We had trouble with the hot water taking forever to heat up for showers and I’d highly recommend paying the extra for the heated pool. The location is great and nice neighborhood close to stores and restaurants.

Fall in Phoenix

The house was large, clean, and generally well-maintained. It is an older, unrenovated home but met most of our needs. We did not use the pool but made use of the indoor and generous outdoor space. The heat in the house did not function properly and after two repair calls, we gave up and lived with the 60-degree morning temperature in the home. Since we were there for funeral, I didn't have time to mess with calling a 3rd or more times. Vacasa did send a repair person out twice, same day as requested, but the property manager did not solve the problem and Vacasa did not follow up so we let it go. Daytime temps were comfortable inside.

Older home in good location

Enjoyed the location and convenience of ease for free flow of home with our families. Home needs some updates such as plumbing fixtures in master that doesn’t put out hot water. There is an on demand hot water heater that works in guest and kitchen area, but even while running water for 5 minutes in master no hot-water runes out of fixture. Pools finish on the bottom was really rough and needs some repair. Master bedroom fan light wouldn’t shut off on wall or remote. No screens on windows to keep any flying insects out. Everyone in our party constantly got electric schools from light switches. Guest shower leaked onto floor after every shower. Heater/ac is very loud in guest bedroom.

Adorable home

We loved this home! We had a few negative things happen.. 1st there was garbage under the night stand in main bedroom and some other things that got left behind from previous tenant. One of the shower drains were plugged so my husband unplugged it and it was a big ball of hair(gross). There was no laundry soap to do laundry in! Also the showers were cold. The water never got hot! The layout of the house is amazing and it was a nice home only a few flaws! I would definitely stay there again if these things got fixed! Also as them to heat the pool if you go in winter months! It was absolutely feeezing!!

Acceptable

The house was in great condition. However, having children in our group, we paid extra for the use of a pool. The pool had not been cleaned before our arrival and there was not a skimmer or anything there for us to clean it ourselves. There was a broken down basketball stand with a torn net hanging off and the grill was not clean. Those were the things that drew us to the rental in the first place and it was a shame that we weren’t able to use them. The house was very clean and well appointed, though the kitchen could use some bigger bowls and pots for large family groups.

Honest opinion here

This is an older home that almost anything you need for a fun getaway pros: the location the set up of the house the spaciousness of the house large back yard for gathering bbq grill pro/con: the pool needs to be refinished so while it is large almost every kid got scratched up and while the yard is large some sort of landscape is going on no one mentioned prior to arrival cons: the outdoor area was not cleaned at all trash shoes a dead Animal and unexpected landscapes at 730 am on a Saturday/ holiday weekend makes me wonder just how clean the inside really was An Overall especially with the responses from vasaca I’d stay again just hopefully next time they remedy those totally fixable issues

It was a perfect house in a perfect location.

The house was perfect for our family of 7. Plenty of space for everyone. All of our needs were taken care of while we were there. Kitchen was well supplied. Outside space was heavenly.
