I was in town for seven days to visit family and attend a wedding. I was the only one staying at the Miller House but l had LOTS of family members that came to visit over the course of that week. To a person, everyone said the house was beautiful, and marveled at the view of Honey Creek from the open kitchen and living room. There is plenty of water frontage to fish, and lots of room to walk around and explore the property. I saw deer on the lawn during my first day and saw herons and egrets and ducks and muskrats in and around Honey Creek every day. Leaving the property in the morning or coming back in the afternoon, I commonly saw deer, turkeys, and sandhill cranes in fields near the road. This is a great place to come to watch nature in the seclusion of a wooded property. There is train traffic near the house, but that is something that I quickly became accustomed to. Jennifer Miller is a very attentive host, responding to any questions I had within minutes of me asking them. I look forward to staying here again.
