Fabulous Ocean Place 7 Retreat

Upea kahden makuuhuoneen, kahden kylpyhuoneen rannalla sijaitseva osakehuoneisto, joka sijaitsee Summer Beach Resortin yksityisellä porteilla. Ocean Place sijaitsee kätevästi maailmanluokan Ritz Carlton Hotel and Spa -kadun vieressä. Tämä kaunis huoneisto on täysin varustettu kaikella, mitä tarvitaan unohtumattomaan lomaan!

Siellä on myös kaksi upeaa merenrantaravintolan uima-allasaluetta, joista molemmissa valtamerelle johtavat rantatiet. Molemmat uima-altaat sijaitsevat kätevästi kahden rakennuksen välissä, jotta niitä on helppo käyttää. Myös aurinkotuoleja on paljon, jotta voit nauttia Floridan auringosta!

Nautitpa sitten nauttien upeista merinäkymistä toisen kerroksen parvekkeelta, Amelia-saaren kauniista hiekkarannoista ja viileistä valtameren tuulista, kiertäessäsi Fernandina Beachin historiallista aluetta tai hemmottelemalla päivääsi Ritz Carlton -hotellissa ja -kylpylässä, tule ja tee Ocean Place at Summer Beach paratiisistasi!

The bathroom renovations are awesome! We love this unit because of the wonderful location and view from the balcony. We come year after year. The only suggestion we have is to update the pots/pans/ knives in the kitchen- we actually cook when we come. Thanks again for a wonderful place to enjoy!

Shore to please

Unit was clean and tastefully decorated. Rooms were nice size. Living room furniture was comfortable. Kitchen was well appointed; plenty of dishes, cups, glasses, cookware and utensils. Appreciated having the Keurig coffee maker, dishwashing supplies, paper towels, and extra garbage bags. Beds were comfortable. Balcony furniture was nice and enjoyed the view very much.

Enjoyed our stay!

We loved our stay in Shore to Please! It was so nice to wake up to the ocean view and see turtles down below crawling in the dunes! The condo was perfect and had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the Adirondack chairs on the balcony drinking coffee in the morning and watching the sunrise. We felt safe and secure. Thank you so much for such an enjoyable experience with very easy checking in and checking out information.

Great condo!

Beautiful view! Short walk to the beach. Kitchen and bathrooms could use some updating but adequate. Small appliances were very dated. Other than that the rest of the condo was gorgeous. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Another refreshing visit to Amelia Island

We have been to Amelia Island/Fernandina Beach many times but have especially enjoyed our last two trips with the rental of Ocean Place condos. This condo was on the second floor with a wide ocean view and easy access to the Ritz-Carlton next door for one dinner and one breakfast. The condo was quiet, convenient, roomy, and comfortable. Management handled a challenge with the heating unit with prompt attention and care.

Shore was pleased!

Over the years, we've stayed in a number of Ocean Place units managed by Mock's, all of which have been great. With that said, we'd rank this OP 7 unit at the top. The unit was in great shape, very clean, everything worked, and the "beachy" decor was very well done. We'll be renting OP 7 again at the first opportunity.

The desk chair in primary bedroom was broken and the 4 beach chairs provided were extremely rusty and rust stains got on towels, clothes etc. The noise due to the drilling was extremely annoying but because Mock's acknowledged this with a discount for next year, I'm giving a 3 star instead of one star.

Lovely

Mock's always does a fantastic job of welcoming guests and wrapping up the trip, with great instructions, easy in and out, and the special touch of having soft jazz music playing at the time of arrival. The garbage disposal wasn't working, but it was promptly and professionally replaced. "Shore to Please" is a lovely and pleasant unit. It is clean and well decorated, and the view from the patio is beautiful despite the lower level (2nd floor.) A few things disappointed us, compared with other rentals we have experienced at Ocean Place. The most disappointing aspect was the lack of a patio table and chairs; apparently new furniture had been ordered but had not yet arrived. It was an inconvenience for the length of our stay. Also, while the bathrooms were functional and clean, they could have used some updating. Same with the kitchen, which was serviceable but nothing special. As coffee lovers, it would have been nice to have a traditional coffee pot rather than (or in addition to) the Keurig and french press. Finally, we have been recently spoiled by having access to the owner outdoor closet, thus being able to use beach chairs, etc, and this unit did not afford that luxury. All in all a pleasant stay, and a few tweaks would make it outstanding!

Huge Disappointment

When we arrived to the condo, something was clearly amiss as the condo decor did not match the online photos from when we reserved the unit. What we found initially was what appeared to be rented furniture...the couch was black and had lighter colored stains. There was no dresser in the master bedroom. We literally had to live out of our suitcases for the entire 8 day stay! There were exposed wires and no outlet covers in the master bedroom where the dresser had been removed. The woodwork, particularly in the bathrooms was in disrepair and in need of paint...looked dirty and stained. We notified Mocks Management and even sent photos. Their response was the owner was doing an upgrade and they were not responsible. As our stay went on, we discovered the toaster did not work, the sliding screen door was broken,the washer controls were mixed up and you could not get any cycle without a hot water rinse. We ruined two sweaters and a small blanket before realizing this. Light bulbs were burnt out, a slat was missing from the blind. I could go on and on. What we reserved was a nice, well decorated unit. What we got was just a mess. This appeared to be bait and switch and at the very least fraudulent! We became acquainted with a resident in the same building and showed him our unit. He described it as "You might as well have stayed at a Day's Inn. He had previously rented his unit through another company and said he recommended them. We will be doing a seasonal rental next year and will definitely go with another company. In our final communication with Mock's we were told to submit phots and document the issues with the condo. I had already done that with no response. I should add that we have used Mock's multiple times in the past and had lovely experiences with no complaints. This experience truly ruined our vacation. I just don't understand.

The location is perfect! We have been coming here for several years, but the kitchen dishes/knives/pots and pans are worn. The master bathroom has molded grout in the shower and rust on the shower door, shower head and the metal soap dish stand that is in the shower. The bathrooms need to be updated. The condo is advertised to accommodate 4 people, but there are only 2 patio chairs and no longer a table to use for outdoor dining.

I was completely satisfied with the entire booking and payment process, pre-arrival instructions,app,etc great,but was disappointed in the unit itself. I have stayed at various units in Ocean Place over the years and this was the first unit that did not have any kind of chest of drawers in the master bedroom. No place for non-hanging clothes. We had to operate out of our suitcases or on top of the ironing board for a week except for 2 small drawers in the nightstands. There was not so much as a single magazine, book, or any kind of board game or any other entertainment items. No instructions as how to operate any of the TV's. I may be wrong but i believe this unit is principally rented out to handle booking issues at the RC next door. Great location, great view, great A/C, exceptionally clean. Just a little to "antiseptic" like a hotel room. Furniture in Master bedroom like in the second bedroom would have been perfect. Would return when properly furnished.

First Time at Amelia Island and It Won't Be the Last!

Ocean Place 7 Shore to Please was fabulous! We loved it. It was very spacious, comfortable and the view was amazing! We actually preferred to be on the second floor as to have the option of the elevator or stairs. We will definitely be back!

Lovely condo and with everything you will need for a relaxing stay at the beach. The beach chairs and beach towels were an extra plus while being at the beach. All in all this was a great unit on the second floor.

All the comforts of home

Beautiful clean comfortable condo with breathtaking views of sunrise and the ocean. We enjoyed Long walks on the beach which was exactly what we wanted.

Beautiful oceanfront condo

We loved this oceanfront condo at Ocean Place! It was beautifully decorated and was equipped with everything we needed - even beach towels, beach chairs, and wonderful, comfortable furniture on the balcony (I can’t tell you how many places we’ve rented with no outdoor furniture!) we had a few minor maintenance issues which were immediately addressed. I have only one criticism: we were given the wrong code for the gate which was frustrating after a day of traveling. The Mock agency doesn’t ever seem to answer their phone, but, luckily, their maintenance crew does and they helped solve even that problem! Overall, we loved our experience!
