Nestled in the unspoilt countryside on a hillside overlooking the verdant Grosne valley, under the wooded ridges of the surrounding hills & the vineyard hillsides that dominate the village, this charming wine-growing town, typical & commercial, nestled "in clusters" around exotic cobbled streets, has many shops & services and enjoys a very rich historical heritage (12th century Romanesque church, 15th century Benedictine priory, 13th century keep, medieval tower & ramparts, remains of a fortified castle, several medieval residences referenced, washhouse with impluvium from the 19th century, etc.).
