Red Oak Cabin Boasts:
» A full kitchen complete with refrigerator, stove and oven, cooking utensils.
» Inside dining/sitting area with table, chairs and love seat.

» One bedroom with double bed. Linens provided.
» 2 Carpeted lofts. Can be used for either sleeping or storage.
» Bathroom with Shower, Toilet and sink. Towels and washcloths and soap provided.

We do not allow any off road vehicles on the grounds.

The cabins (we have 3 plus two full hook up RV sites) are set in a private wooded area. Approximately 2 miles from Pittsburg recreational are which has a beach and boat launch. Within 10 miles there are several other boat launches and two marinas. Alps Market, a full grocery store is approximately 2 miles away.

This is our 2nd time staying at this property, but chose a different cabin this time. Has everything we need for a weekend at the lake. Very quiet and relaxing while still being close to everything we had planned.

Perfection

Cabin was clean, beautiful, well stocked. You can tell the owners care about their property. Location was gorgeous and quiet. Cant wait to stay there again

This is a great place to stay. Very quiet. The cabins are very spread out which affords more privacy. We loved the decor. We are looking forward to staying here again. It is so quiet at night nothing but nature sounds.

Perfect Getaway!

This was our second year to stay at this cabin and we love staying here! We had everything that we needed for cooking and the cabin was very comfortable. The best part was the serenity being tucked back into the woods. Marsha was quick to answer any questions too. We can’t wait to come back next year!

Fishing with the boys

Great little cabin. Close to everything would highly recommend we fished for three days. It was a great trip. cabin had everything we needed.

This is a nice quiet cabin that sits back off the main road. You can see the other cabins, but they are not close to each other creating plenty of privacy and there is a lot of outdoor space to play yard games or enjoy an evening around the firepit. It is very peaceful. We personally did not have cell service while inside the cabin, but did have on the porch and outside. So it was nice to unplug and relax. However, that could be an issue if you needed to work remotely. The cabin was very nice & clean, spacious inside and set up with table and 4 chairs, a lounge chair and futon couch, with a bed and wardrobe closet in the separate bedroom. We brought airbeds and the kids slept on those in the loft space and loved it! Due to it being a wooden cabin, they keep a humidifier running while the cabin is vacant. We were late getting there for check in, so it was pretty warm when we arrived and took a while for the air conditioner to cool down the cabin. It was uncomfortably warm when we went to bed due to our late arrival, but got chilly overnight. So the a/c works great, it just takes a bit to cool off the space. There were plenty of clean towels, cookware, nice larger refrigerator, microwave, etc. My kids complained about the small size of the TV, but it was sufficient and we weren't there to watch television! The lake is right down the road with boat launch access and nice picnic area.The host was quick to respond to any questions and we would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely wonderful

This property is perfectly secluded with just the right amount of amenities. Great fun was had by adults and children.

Same great stay as last time!

Everything was great, comfortable, peaceful as I remembered. With the crazy heat, it took a long time to cool the cabin down. Like 6hrs. That was a little uncomfortable. But it's a good size cabin and it's been really hot, so we understood. Look forward to next time!

Sweet Cabin in the Woods

We loved this sweet cabin nestled in the woods. It was everything we needed. We do wish it had internet access, though we understand being back in the woods makes it hard. We had trouble getting our code to enter cabin. We have T-Mobile and it evidently is not very compatible to the towers around there. We couldn't find a phone # to call so we went to my family's house with wi-fi and were able to find the code and then got in with no problem. The cabin is cozy, decorated in cute, rustic style and is a pretty, quiet setting. We would highly recommend it!! The manager came by to meet us and thank us for coming!

Happy Cabin campers

The property was very clean. We thought it was a cute little cabin for a little getaway weekend to the lake. It says it sleeps four. If you stay here bring your air mattresses for extra beds to sleep in. It wasn’t that there wasn’t enough room to sleep four or more because there is plenty of room but prepare to bring an air mattress or sleeping bags. Our girls slept in the upper area of the cabin in the little lofts in their sleeping bags and they thought that was pretty neat. The directions were not accurate on google maps but we were able to contact the manager who helped us get where we needed to go. We were also able to bring our dogs which was great because you can’t always find a place to bring your dogs or there is usually a extra fee or weight capacity which there wasn’t and that was also nice. The cabin was full of clean dishes/utensils and a full kitchen/bathroom/shower. I would definitely bring my family back. Also you near multiple beaches. We enjoyed our stay!
