Come and enjoy the newly renovated cabin on the Lake.
Get away from it all and enjoy the peaceful beauty of the Lake with direct access to the water for fishing, swimming.
Outside the extended deck has a coffee bar area with stools, outdoor table and chairs and a BBQ, with a spectacular view of the lake,
Close in, near McKinney, Allen and Princeton; it's the perfect getaway for a vacation.

Lake House

It was an awesome experience. I definitely recommend this place. Owner was easy to get in touch with and made sure everything was good. Lake house clean and ready as if you was ready to move in lol but awesome place. Great place to fish too!

Wedding at Strubel Farms

Very nice, too bad we were so busy with the wedding we did not have time to enjoy it. We rented both locations. However, just two things, trying to figure out the lighting situation outside and inside very confusing and many many spiderwebs in the corners of the little house.

Wonderful Getaway!

We had a great time. We swam in the lake and the water was perfect. Fishing was a lot of fun as well, and we caught a lot of fish, striped bass, white bass perch and catfish (lots of catfish). We sat by the fire pit at night and did smores and all around had a great time!

Great place

When we We first arrived there was some confusion due to the fact that there was a cabin and a house owned by the same property and on the map it shows the house only so we had a little time getting settled. After getting in and getting settled we had a awesome great time! Didn't catch many fish but it was a great view to sit back and relax the beds are very comfortable and there were plenty of room to sleep. Even though we wasn't far away from home it felt like it, my niece was able to see some lighting bugs (at least that what I called them) for the first time overall it was a great experience thanks you sharing you cabin with my family we can't wait to visit again!

We enjoyed the quiet

From SoCal, it was nice to be away from all the traffic noise and busy city life. Screen patios with electric bug zappers would be a terrific addition to the place. We aren't used to lake life. Thank you, Mary, for your hospitality and we will let you know if we decide to come back again.

Spring break getaway

We stayed at the cabin to enjoy the lake views and visit the In Sync Exotics sanctuary. Everything was great, we would definitely stay again!

Beautiful view, relaxing space

We were in town for a wedding and didn't want to stay in a hotel. This was the perfect space for us to enjoy our weekend and have the space for everyone to get ready, find their quiet place, and sleep in a quiet, natural setting away from the hustle and bustle.

Amazing property

Beautiful property!! Everyone absolutely loved the place.. I love the fact that you can rent the house and cabin so you can accommodate lots of people. House and cabin are both very roomy, clean and have everything you could need. Owner was super responsive and very helpful!! We will be making this an annual trip!! Thank you again for letting us use your property for our get together.

Perfect House for Spending TIme with loved ones

We had a great time at Clear Lake place. The communication was super easy and quick and the place looks exactly like it does on the pictures, very clean and has everything you need. The place was very clean and had all of the necessities for a few night stay. Back yard is very beautiful, you can enjoy the view with big lake.

Sweet little weekend getaway

We loved this house on the lake. It was a no-frills place but exactly what we needed. We went to visit the wild cat sanctuary and hiked some of the nearby trails. My kids loved the 2 separate lofts because they each had their own "room." I would stay again!

Good weekend stay

- More than adequate for 8+ guests. -Ample parking. -Mary was very responsive to questions. -Electrical system needs some attention as with A/C, appliances and lighting being used, frequent power shortages were noted. The power shortages would disrupt Internet/TV connections also. -100 degree temperatures seemed to be a bit much for the three Wall-mounted A/C systems. Had them on lowest setting to keep the cabin tolerable during the day. -Recommend spraying outdoor area around the house to keep the insect population at bay. A multitude of mosquitoes and flies were ready to enter the house each time the door was opened.

The cabin is cozy and rustic with exposed wooden beams.
The master bedroom has a comfortable queen bed, vanity and a single bed.
Large living area with a coffee/wine bar, two tables to seat up to 14 people, 2 futons and a large TV with stream services.
2 lofts with double mattress, provide fun sleeping spaces.
The kitchen/dining has windows facing the lake with a great view; it has all new appliances, a Murphy bed and a futon.
Outside the extended deck has a coffee bar area with stools, outdoor table and chairs and a BBQ and a Gas Fireplace.
