Lakefront Cabin Inside Olympic National Park

The Eagle's Rest is a lakefront cabin located on the north shore of the Lake Quinault inside the Olympic National Park. It offers 180 degree breathtaking view of the lake and the surrounding mountains. Among the many things to do around here, here are few popular options. In the morning or when sun comes out after the rain, watch the misty cloud rises slowly above the lake and the forest behind it. During the daytime, there are plenty of activities to do like hiking the rain forest trails, canoeing on the lake, and wildlife watching. In the evening, set up a campfire right next to the lake and share stories with family and friends.

A canoe is provided as a courtesy and guests are responsible for safe use. Children 18 or under should not operate the canoe with adult supervision
Camp fire can be set up inside the fire pit and only when there is no or minimum. wind . Any fire outside the fire pit is strictly prohibited.
Items in the garage should not used without permission from the owner. The boats under the car port is not for use by the guests.

Absolute Heaven

This property is absolutely spectacular! The view of the lake and mountains is just breathtaking. We used the canoes in the lake and saw a the most amazing rainbow over the lake. The decks are great for relaxing. The beds were super comfortable and house had lots of room. Wish we could have stayed here all week, instead of just a couple nights!

Can’t beat these views!

The house was great, but you come and stay for the views! We sat out on the deck all afternoon watching the kids play on the driftwood and in the water. The beds were comfortable. Appliances all worked well. Bathrooms were clean. Would definitely stay again!

Family weekend

We had a lovely weekend! The house had plenty of space for the four of us and our dog. The views were fantastic. Watching the weather move in and out over the lake was magical. We even managed a fire and smores by the lake in between the rain.Perfect distance for a day trip out to the coast.

The house is comfy, the view impressive, and the location is perfect for multiple national park activities. The deck alone is worth the entire property!

Amazing view and nice and private setting. It is a little musty in the house. The bathroom sink in the back does not drain. The shower in the bathroom does not close, so be sure to put a towel so you do not have water go everywhere. The kitchen is decently equipped, and even has a Keurig, which was nice in the morning. Be sure to pack your own k-cups though!

Beautiful view

Deck had some safety issues with loose railings. Should be fixed ASAP.Lighting inside could be improved as well. It was more of a rustic setting than the pictures implied but it was still a perfect weekend for the family. The view was amazing even during the storm.

Rustic with a gorgeous view

This was exactly what our family was looking for! Amazing location, the lake view from the deck was breathtaking. The house itself is rustic but functional and clean. It has all the essentials and the location close to the Pacific Ocean and the park destinations were exactly what we needed. Our only hiccup was a brief loss of power to the area one afternoon but the owner was prompt with communication via text and the power was restored quickly by local utility crews.

Epic Views!

You can see the lake from almost every window. The decks and fire pit area were beautiful. We loved being so close to all of the South West parts of Olympic National Park. Quinault Village is very close and worth the trip. Easy Drive to the beaches and Hoh Rain forest. The house had plenty of blankets and the beds were comfy. The kitchen had all the necessities a microwave, cookware, drip coffee maker, and a Keurig-style coffee maker. Lots of DVDs to choose from. The house had everything we needed and we would happily stay here again.

Beautiful remote property with an amazing view

We had an awesome time at this house, the lake and snow capped mountain are gorgeous. We canoed on the lake, watched the Aurora Borealis on the deck and had a blast checking out Olympic National Park. The only issues we had were maintenance related, the property could use some TLC. For instanceThe deck is peeling and had loose screws and popped screws all over.

Needs deep cleaning

The property has so much potential. Basics were clean (bedding, towels, toilet) but house desperately needs a deep cleaning. Cobwebs everywhere, just looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in six months?

Disappointed

This sadly is a very neglected property. The improvements that have been made have been done incorrectly. The new shower door does not close and the water floods the floor. There is a vine from outside that has grown under one of the newer windows and is now growing inside the house behind the coach. There appears to be a water leak under the kitchen sink. All of the windows are very dirty, several without screens. Mold in the bedroom with the twin beds. Kitchen cabinets are dirty inside and out. There is much debris in the yard. All the deck furniture has peeling paint and the umbrellas are broken. This is a beautiful location on the lake and we were sad to see such a neglected house.

Girls trip

The place is beautiful, right off of a lake easy to access. The only downfall we found. The bedding on all of the beds were not changed and smelled of body odor. Towels were left in the dryer, but smelt of mildew. There was a washer and dryer so we were able to clean the linens and towels, but this made for a long night just so we could shower and sleep comfortably. comforters were unable to be used because they could not fit in the washer. After a long exchange with property manager, I was able to get a refund for one night which helped. But I would have preferred to just come in and enjoy myself, and not do the maids job.

Beautiful scenery, comfortable living arrangements

The house expanded perfectly for our group. We love the multiple porches and dock. We used the canoes every day and watched the stars at night from the dock.
