Just over the bridge from Old San Juan and Puerta de Tierra, Condado is one of Puerto Rico's most fashionable places to call home. Sophisticated bistros and restaurants draw lively crowds at night, and the beach is always popular. Fine dining, eclectic fusion, international flavors... you'll find it all in Condado. Bangkok Bombay has, surprisingly, equally good Indian and Thai menus, and wicked lychee martinis. Yerba Buena is a lively place that brings Cuba to Condado. Condado's entertainment is centered on three main activities: shopping (see below), the Miami-like Condado Beach, and the casinos. Two of the area's top casino hotels in San Juan are here. Of all the casino hotels in San Juan, the Condado Plaza feels most like a Vegas property. It's the first hotel you come across as you enter Condado from Old San Juan. At over 12,000 square feet, its casino is among the largest in San Juan, featuring more than 400 slot machines, Blackjack, Craps, Roulette and Texas Hold-em (this is one of only a handful of casinos in San Juan that has Hold-em games). The neighborhood is also home to several small parks—urban oases that make for a pleasant break when you're out shopping. Additionally, there are plenty of outdoor activities, such as stand-up paddle boarding, yoga, and surfing schools in the area.
Public transportation is not regular, but you can get an Uber or taxi in minutes. You can walk to restaurants, mini markets, fast foods, supermarket, liquor store and enjoy the city.
We understand that weather can be a concern when traveling to a tropical island. Our hurricane and storm policy is designed to be clear and fair: Refunds will only be issued if the National Weather Service declares a mandatory evacuation for our location. In such a case, we'll refund the unused portion of your current booking, or any reservation scheduled to begin during the mandatory evacuation period, starting from the day the order is given. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for regular rain or tropical storms, as these are part of the natural climate here. However, we're happy to work with you to reschedule your cancelled vacation based on our availability.
KASA House Rules and Policies
Welcome to KASA! We’re excited to host you and want to ensure you have a fantastic stay. Here are a few important guidelines to help make your experience enjoyable and avoid any misunderstandings.
• Prior to check-in, please provide a valid photo ID for each guest staying at the property.
• The individual who makes the reservation must be the registered guest, be at least 25 years old, and ensure that the stay is for themselves and their invited guests named in the reservation. Unfortunately, third-party bookings are not allowed.
• We want to maintain a peaceful environment, so parties or events are not permitted unless specifically approved in advance.
• Check-in is available any time after 3 PM, and we kindly ask that you check out by 11 AM.
• For the comfort of all our guests, smoking or vaping products are not allowed on the property. A fee of $500 will be incurred if this policy is not followed.
• In the event that you misplace any items, please note the following fees:
• $75 for lost keys
• $50 for lost or damaged TV remote or AC/FAN remote
• $60 for lost or damaged parking remote.
• As your host during this short-term stay, we retain the right to cancel a reservation due to unforeseen circumstances. If that happens, we will strive to provide similar accommodation or offer a full refund or credit for a future visit.
• Please be aware that our cancellation policy varies based on the booking. You can find the specific terms associated with your reservation on the booking platform used. Refunds will be credited back to the original payment method within ten business days.
• If you've been approved to bring a pet, an additional $250 damage deposit will apply.
• If you do not check in for your reservation, without prior notice, the entire cost of the stay will be charged, and no refunds will be issued.
• We kindly ask guests to use the property as a vacation rental, adhering to all applicable laws. Only the confirmed number of guests listed in the reservation are allowed in the unit. Bringing additional guests without permission may lead to immediate termination of your agreement and eviction from the property, with no refund.
• We kindly ask our guests to maintain a peaceful environment, ensuring that noise or disturbances do not disturb nearby property owners. Any disruptive behavior in the unit or common areas may lead to the immediate conclusion of this agreement, eviction from the premises, and unfortunately, no refunds will be offered. Guests will also be responsible for any fines incurred due to inappropriate behavior while on the property.
• Regarding utility outages, please note that if they occur due to circumstances beyond our control, we are unable to provide refunds or compensation unless the outage lasts more than 24 hours. In such cases, any compensation will be determined at the host's discretion. For any issues related to Wi-Fi outages or preferences, we regret that refunds cannot be issued.
• If guests leave personal items behind, we will make every reasonable effort to return them after contacting the guest. However, if these items remain unclaimed for 30 days, they will become the property of the host, who cannot be held responsible for their condition.
• We also want to clarify that no refunds can be granted for shortened stays due to adverse weather, personal emergencies, or other commitments. However, in the event of a natural disaster, credit for a future stay will be provided.
• Please be aware that KASA cannot accept responsibility for any damages to vehicles parked on the property.

• LIABILITY WAIVER: KASA Vacation Rentals is not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal items that belong to guests. This includes losses from natural events such as floods, storms, or other "Acts of Nature." Additionally, for incidents like fire, water issues, power outages beyond our control, or disruptions caused by service providers, KASA cannot be held responsible for any additional costs or losses incurred by the guest.
• To ensure a pleasant stay for all, it's essential to adhere to these guidelines, along with property and public health regulations. Noncompliance may result in early termination of the reservation without a refund. Guests agree to cover any reasonable costs, including attorney fees, incurred by the owner in enforcing this agreement.
