Wonderful Family Gathering

2 of my siblings and I with our families stayed here for 4 days to attend my Father's funeral. This was a wonderful place for our families to gather and have dinner for a couple evenings. The home was beautiful and well equipped.

Wedding Bells Skiing Hills

Our group of 10 adults and 4 small children found Chateau Woodlands well located to both the downtown SLC wedding we came into town for as well as within reasonable reach (30minutes) of Park City for skiing. Our Utah’s Best Rentals agent Annie was informative, flexible and most helpful.I will note that shower in the “guesthouse “ was inoperable taking one of 3 showers out of commission for a large group readying for wedding events. The plumber arrived promptly, however parts could not be supplied to fix the problem. Although the house has 2 large sunken tubs, most adults want a shower. The kitchen was very well equipped. This could be a spectacular house with some updating to furnishings and bathrooms.

Beautiful well stocked home

This home is centrally located to access the canyons for skiing. Beds are comfy and nice. Plenty of space for a crowd and ideal if you had kids which we didn’t but noted it would be a fun place for kids with the game rooms and hot tub.

Great Thanksgiving House

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family traveled from Houston, Seattle and Chicago to visit family in SLC. This was the perfect place for us all to gather. The house is beautiful and has just about anything you need. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for cooking including spices. Things like paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, etc were also provided. There were lots of games and toys and other fun things to do. We had a few issues but they were all fixed rather quickly. I would definitely recommend this house.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was very surprised at the size of the rooms, because in the pictures make them look longer, specially that little guest house. It was a lot more cramped than I expected. I was surprised to see such a little oven in such a big house. That made it hard to do a lot of cooking for 18 people. A lot of things had been damaged from previous tenants and it got to the point where we just left a day early. Every time we turn around something had been exposed that had been covered up. The yard was gorgeous, but next to a very noisy road. The gated community is appealing to us, but the gate never was used. The TVs were old, the games were very old. Even my teenage boys turned away from them. All the entertainment advertised was a let down. The little tiny cove with toys was a wonderful thing. We should have been more seating in the kitchen itself. Would I rent this place again for the price that we paid? Probably not .It was a big let down. The beds were not as comfortable. We all had a hard time sleeping. The master bedroom size was amazing. The kitchen was stocked very nicely. Just overall the price was way too high for what we paid.

A Great Time at Chateau Woodlands

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family spent its 8th consecutive winter ski gathering in Salt Lake City. Chateau Woodlands was a great spot for our group of peeps. We loved the open floor plan and the ability for everyone to hang together. The house was very clean, high end, and well equipped. The only possible criticism is that the 3 upstairs bedrooms, including the 8 person bunk area, only has one shower. There is a 2nd bathroom with a tub, but shower space was a bit of bottleneck. (the property description did mention the tub upstairs, but it wasn't until we arrived that we realized the shower logistics). All in all, it was perfect for our group. Everyone will fondly recall our ski vacation in Salt Lake.And thank you to Utah's Best. They were very helpful and responsive.
