Secluded Sanctuary

Exactly what we were hoping for! Natural beauty and peaceful seclusion! We had a wonderful time fishing, kayaking, walking the grounds, enjoying indoor and outdoor fires, playing tetherball, cooking on the open fire, on the grill and in the fully equipped kitchen. Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels. Nobody wanted to leave! Definitely recommend and we hope to return in the warmer weather!

Amazing property!

Could not have asked for a better weekend on one of the finest properties I’ve ever stayed. The natural environment is gorgeous, and there is no end to the amount of animals one can see through out the day.

Peaceful

I was looking for a quiet location to spend some quality time with my best friend before she moved away. The cabin was perfect! It's ideally suited for a family with the lake and outdoor spaces, but the cabin provided a cozy atmosphere for two friends to recall memories and giggle to our hearts were content. I'd book this property again. Thanks for a great weekend!

Great isolated weekend.

Got away with our dog and enjoyed the cabin and surrounding wooded area with a pond. Hike right from the front door. Cozy fireplace on a rainy weekend. Plan to return.

God’s serene nature

From the time we arrived and went down the winding drive our breath was taking away at God’s beauty in nature! The pond and forest view was beautiful! The inside of the cabin was rustic and home like! My husband made a nice fire and we roasted marshmallows and made smores! The next day we all (2 adults and 4 kids age 7-18) loaded up in the 12 foot metal paddle boat and went fishing! My husband, 10 year old daughter and daughter’s friend all caught fish! We then played tether ball and went exploring in the woods! I prayed to God to send us to the place for us and He did! This place is a blessing of peace, beauty and relaxation!

The perfect retreat in the woods

We absolutely loved this cabin and property. Our kids (ages 2-9) tooled around in the boat for hours and hours, but we also hiked on the trails and they found various aquatic critters in the creek. The house is very spacious and the amenities are great. The loft was able to sleep 5 kids no problem--and they loved it up there. It was great to have a fire outside for cooking and also come in to a fire in the fireplace. We definitely want to come back again.

Mancation

This is the third time my brothers and I have enjoyed our yearly mancation in this amazing location. The cabin is great with a large indoor fireplace. We always hope for snow and cold and this year we got run around outside in plenty of both. Kevin is a great host and quickly responds to any of our needs or questions. We really enjoyed having an outside fire, overlooking the frozen pond, and chilling out in a snowstorm! Going inside and warming up in the cozy cabin was also pretty glorious. I would certainly recommend this place. Thanks for letting us stay. See you next year if not sooner!

Perfect Spot

We really enjoyed our stay. Ended up adding an extra night the day before we were scheduled to leave. Only 15 minutes to nearest town. Quiet. Secluded. We used the fire pit and fireplace which I loved. Would stay again, maybe in the summer next time. Thanks for an amazing holiday! Rog and Amy

Perfect Friends and Family Getaway

This is our second stay at the cabin and it was just as amazing as the first. The place and grounds are well kept and well equipped, making your stay stress free. Very private and quiet. Kids had a great time fishing the lake and they caught fish every day. They are already asking when we can come back. We can't wait to return!

A Slice of Paradise: The Perfect Lakeside Getaway

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this lakeside cabin, and the pictures in the listing don't do it justice—it felt like stepping into a scene from a movie. There are endless trails to explore in the woods, a rowboat with life jackets for peaceful afternoons on the lake, games for both indoor and outdoor fun, and even a hammock to relax in and take in the beautiful surroundings. I truly felt at peace here, and it’s a place I’d love to stay forever. If you’re looking for a getaway that feels like a dream come true, this is it. We will definitely be coming back

We LOVE The Cozy Cabin

Two couples (best friends) lucked out and booked our 3rd visit, and this place is fantastic!! The guys fished their brains out and scored some lunkers, and we pretended we were teenagers and laid out in the sun on the dock. Waking up to the view of the lake never gets old, and the hosts have EVERYTHING you need! Highly recommend!
