Nestled on a private road and in a picturesque mountain setting, Lake Nottely is Georgia's best kept secret and at this one of a kind lake house, you can enjoy year round water views and watch the sunset from the deck. This Mountain Hideaway location is perfect for all of your favorite lake activities:

The space
The open and spacious main floor features 2 bedrooms that share a full bath and a powder room for guests. One of the bedrooms has a queen bed with an expansive water view and has a sliding door that opens to the warp around deck. The other main level bedroom features a king bed. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, gourmet coffee maker, and everything you need to make for a perfect and comfortable stay. The kitchen opens up to the light-filled living room with a wood burning fireplace and a fun swing chair. Doors in the great room will lead you to the large deck which wraps around 3 sides of the home and has a gate to keep kiddos or pets in. The shady outdoor deck has plenty of seating with a wood burning fireplace, the perfect place to watch a football game or just enjoy a glass of wine and watch the sunset. Enjoy a nap on the hammock and be sure to bring steaks or burgers for the grill.

Upstairs you will find your private master suite with a king size bed and a large bathroom. You can also enjoy the lake views from the private master balcony.

The terrace level includes a large bedroom with a king bed, a bunk-like smaller room for kids with 1 twin bed and 1 double bed, and another room that connects to terrace level bathroom that has an additional queen bed. 1 bath. The downstairs living room area has a fold out sofa bed, TV and doors that open up to the lower deck with hot tub (this deck also has a gate and leads down to dock).

You can admire the lake views from so many windows in the home. It’s truly a gem! Luxury Lake Living at it's finest, welcome home! And the dock has plenty of room for hanging out and enjoy the water and mountain view.

This lakeside luxury cabin is only available for a minimum of 3 nights. Pets are allowed with $175 fee. If we are not notified ahead of time that there will be a pet, there will be additional fees.

ABOUT THE AREA
Hiking: Vogel State Park is 17 miles away and has some great hikes – check out Trahlyta Falls Trail. Helton Creek Falls is a beautiful hike. Amicalola Falls State Park past Blue Ridge, GA, is also worth exploring (Blue Ridge is a cute little town about 30 minutes away.) Meek’s Park has some easy paved walking trails, in addition to hiking trails and playgrounds. There is an abundance of hikes in the area! Take in that fresh mountain air! Dukes Creek Falls Trail is nice, but about 45 min away.

Marinas: There are 3 marinas to rent boats and/or jet skis from.

Wineries: Our favorite winery to visit is in Young Harris. Crane Creek Winery (about 30 min away) has a beautiful scenic view from the deck where you can settle back for a bottle of wine. You can bring your own food for a picnic and it’s a great place where kids can also run around. They do have live music some evenings.

*Paradise Winery which is also nice, is in Blairsville.
Alcohol purchase: Beer and Wine can be purchased at local stores. However, for spirits you will need to visit Murphy NC or Hayesville NC - both are only 20 minutes away.

Restaurants: Our favorite local Italian restaurant is Michaelee’s Italian Life Caffe.

Surrounding towns: Downtown Blueridge may be worth a visit if you like a quant more touristy scene. They also have a train that kids can ride. The restaurants get booked quickly, so you make want to make reservations. Hiawassee is another cute town not too far away.
