Rakennus muistuttaa kahdeksastoista-luvun New Orleans arkkitehtuuria, ja se on rakennettu joskus ennen 1883. Huoneisto on toinen tarina ja on aina päivitetään uusia ja jännittäviä parannuksia. Sisustus on hiljattain parannettu, kun kylpyhuone / suihku, uudet matot, ovet ja ikkunat on kokonaan uusittu. "Kage House" sijaitsee 120 Broadway keskustan historiallisella alueella ja on alle minuutin kävelymatkan päässä Main Street ja alle 10 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä "Isle of Capri Casino". Main Street löydät monia hienoja kauppoja ja ravintoloita, tai vain nauttia luonnonkaunis alue kuin Walkabout. Tämä on ehdottomasti yksi parhaista paikoista Cape pysyä !!

Makuuhuone on sisustettu king size-vuode ja taulutelevisio. Olohuoneessa on queen-size-vuodesohva 'Lazy Boy' ja 45 'taulutelevisio. Huoneisto on täysin varusteltu. Internet / WiFi käyttö, sekä kaapeli useita elokuvakanavat sisältyvät hintaan loman.

Perfect stay!!

We enjoyed this property so much!! The location was perfect, it was so clean, very accommodating, perfect amount of space, and awesome host! We were in town for AAU basketball and this rental gave us the comfort of being at home. The washer/dryer availability was a plus after sweaty ballgames! We will definitely be booking this rental in the future! Thank you for a great stay!

Fantastic location, great accommodation

There couldn’t be a better location for going out on the riverfront in Cape Girardeau. It is well set up with beautiful furniture and all the kitchen supplies you would need. Highly recommend.

Best of the best!

This upstairs unit is perfect for a long weekend getaway trip! It has everything you need and is in the perfect location to the downtown area. Walking distance to shopping and great restaurants! The area is very safe and my daughter and I are comfortable walking around the downtown area any time of day.Great owner with quick response time! We enjoyed our stay and will be back!!

Perfect Stay When in Cape!

This property is perfect for a stay in Cape. You can see the river from the property. It is in close proximity to several nice restaurants and bars. The property was extremely clean and well equipped, having the washer and dryer was a huge plus as we were in town for a volleyball tournament. It can be a little bit noisy on the weekends due to the area having a couple bars and traffic, but nothing too excessive. We will definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay!

Great location in downtown Cape! When we travel we are usually disappointed with the bed and furnishings but this property had a very comfortable couch and bed. Beautifully decorated with deck with the view of the river!

Love this place

This is our third stay here. We love the Kage House and its location. We live only 75 miles from here but it makes a nice weekend get away. The weekend we stayed they were having a car show and our granddaughter had a volleyball tournament in Cape so it worked out great. We will be back!

Weekend Getaway

Property was better than advertised. Really great host, and provided more than expected. The place was very inviting, clean, and spacious. It is in a very convienent and fun part of historical downtown Cape G, all within walking distance. It was relaxing to walk a block away and sit, watching the Mississippi river flow by. I highly recommend staying at this property, you will not be disappointed.

Anniversary weekend

We loved the Kage House! It was one of the best highlights of our weekend getaway. Just a perfect place to stay--within walking distance of great restaurants and cool shops. We loved it. We would definitely stay there again. Wonderful hosts!!

Perfect stay

What an incredible stay! Waking up to the sunrise over the river was such a peaceful way to start each day. We loved watching the boats drift by and spotting birds while enjoying our morning coffee. The house itself is absolutely beautiful – full of charm and so welcoming. The bed was very comfortable. The thoughtful touches like the snacks and drinks made us feel right at home. The location was perfect – we walked to two local breweries, took a scenic walk along the river, and explored the charming shops on Main Street. We even tried our luck at the casino! Brunch at the restaurant across the street was the perfect way to end our trip. Thank you for such a memorable and relaxing experience. We can't wait to come back!

Excellent location!

The Kage House is a beautifully appointed property right at the top of the old downtown. The property has more than you need because of the thoughtful owners. Everything downtown is easily walkable. Sitting on the deck watching the river traffic is a highlight!

This property is amazing! Close to everything and so clean! The weather was cold for mid March so I’m looking forward to our next trip when we can utilize the awesome deck looking at the Mississippi River! We highly recommend!!!

Another Great Stay

OMG you did it again. Another great stay at the Kage House. It's an amazing place. Right downtown and with the river right there. Love to sit on the deck and watch the people and the boats come and go. Very comfortable place to stay. Good Job!

Kage House

Excellent stay at the Kage house. I was traveling alone travel RN and new to the area. I felt safe and had everything I needed. Keith was very helpful and made sure my stay was stress free! There was a snow storm the day I was checking out to drive back home. Keith arranged for me to have a late check out so I could get a nap (night shift nurse) and the roads were in good condition. 10/10 would recommend.

Secret Place

My husband and I had a very great stay at the Kage House. Even though it is in the heart of old downtown, most people in town doesn't even know it exist. It had everything we needed. Very clean, comfortable, and cozy. We have nothing but good to say about the house.There was very little street noise from people coming and going to the pubs, but it didn't bother us. We even got to meet Keith when we arrived. He is very friendly and showed us around before leaving.The weather didn't cooperate like we planned, but we did get to enjoy a short time out on the deck with a cup of coffee that was left for us compliments of the owners. We only live a few hours from Cape, but wanted a place to rest while experiencing the city. We went to several antique shops, ate a take out dinner of crab legs, seafood gumbo, and cornbread from Broussard's, which is maybe one block from the House. We also ate a nice lunch at Dexter BBQ, very friendly people and good food. Not sure I am suppose to name names, but instead of telling you the bad place we ate, lets just say, Google reviews before trying out different restaurants, or ask the locals. Thanks so much to the owners for providing a nice place to stay. One thing I would have liked was a small cozy settee for two, to sit on in the bedroom facing the window because there is a nice view of the river from that spot, especially on cold days when you can't sit on the deck. I would definitely recommend and stay again. Thanks again, Two from TN

Cape G's Old Town is on the rise, and Kage House is in the heart of it

If you love Mississippi River life, good food, antique and boutique shopping, brew pubs, music, dancing, barcades, farmer's markets, coffee and wine shops, you can't do any better than ensconcing yourself in the heart of Cape Girardeau's most interesting sector, Old Town-- and this well-priced, well-appointed rental apartment will put you exactly where you need to be, in comfort and in style. The historic building has its own parking with only a few steps up to the entrance, and you'll pass the perfect party deck on your way in, offering sun-rise views over the Mississippi and plenty of opportunity for people-watching (don't forget binoculars, at dusk you'll want to check out the opposite river bank for wildlife). With a full kitchen, you'll be able to create your own meal or enjoy the leftovers from last night's dinner out. A nice little sitting area offers a pull-out couch, and the adjoining master bedroom is spacious, offers plenty of light (and both blinds and blackout curtains for overnight), a super-comfy king bed & squashy pillows, great sheets. The bedroom also has incredible views of the river and street life. Even though train tracks are a couple of blocks away and nightlife can get busy, only minimal noise made it through the walls at night, we had no problem sleeping. This isn't usually the case for me, I was surprised I didn't need earplugs (which I forgot to pack anyway). Bathroom is small, but it's clean and the shower pressure is good. Plenty of towels available. My husband and I hope to return because Old Town has more to offer us, and this place is a definite gem. We're hoping we can take it again. (Other suggestions: Minglewood Brewery, Katy O'Ferrell's, "36" Restaurant, and Stevie's Steakburgers. Check out the Farmer's Market in season, it's a jewel.)

The Kage House is a very comfortable and well maintained property located steps away from great restaurants, upscale bars and shopping in the historical downtown area of Cape Girardeau. My daughter and I stayed there and were very comfortable and pleased with the location, property and area. Keith was great to work with in setting up our stay there, as well. We will most definitely be back!!
