Massanutten Resort is the Mid-Atlantic's premier four season resort destination. It is located near Harrisonburg Virginia, less than 2.5 hours drive from D.C. The resort offers a wide variety of amenities including snow skiing, snow boarding, snow tubing, ice skating, 18-hole golf courses, miniature golf, go-carting, complete indoor/outdoor waterpark, full-service spa, gym, tennis courts, horseback riding, fishing, mountain biking, hiking, river rafting, kayaking, zip line, canopy tours, etc. Skiers will be thrilled with the ski area's 1,195-foot vertical drop, the highest in Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. The extensive on-site sports complexes offer swimming pools, racquetball courts, exercise equipment, steam room, sauna, massage services, tennis courts, adults and children's programs. Located in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley, Massanutten offers plenty to see and do both on and off the resort. This is an area rich history as Civil War battlefields, renovated plantations, and museums abound. (Note that some activities are seasonal and may not be available during your visit. The indoor waterpark, similar to Great Wolf Lodge, is a key family attraction open all year round).
