The Crooked Lake Cottage

This remodeled four-season cottage sits on a beautifully shaded, quiet dead-end street on all sports Crooked Lake. This Central Michigan location just off US10 offers the outdoor enthusiast year around options for an enjoyable vacation.
A perfect adult get-away, the cottage offers 2 bedrooms, each with queen beds (Serta memory foam and pillow top mattresses) the new bathroom has a porcelain walk in shower with glass doors and stocked toiletries. The living room comes with an inviting gas fireplace, full lazy boy sofa sleeper (sleeps 1-2) and 32” TV with Dish satellite. The new cherry cabinet kitchen, quartz countertops, stainless-steel appliances including dishwasher is stocked with quality dishware, George Foreman grill, and ample gadgets. Eat in high top dining where you can enjoy the elevated lake views (seating 4) and an adjoining sun room with a reading nook. A sliding glass door opens to an upper level deck with high top chairs, bird’s eye view overlooking the canal, lake and flower gardens. Down a few steps to the back deck is an outdoor bar area or to the garage which has been converted to a three-season room overlooking the lake which includes a large redwood table for your pavilion picnics or games. Just open the windows and enjoy!
This relaxing setting affords plenty of mature shade trees, the back yard has a large fire pit with chairs and ample wood to go around. The driveway is paved with room to park 2 vehicles. The boat ramp is around the corner from the cottage, and we can accommodate storing our guests trailer for the week, just ask prior to your stay. We welcome your outboard fishing boat or pontoon. However, since it is a canal with limited depth, I/O boats are not allowed. No boat? We offer two kayaks and a paddle boat for your enjoyment.
Clare County offers "20 lakes in 20 minutes" and tens of thousands acres of ORV State land trails for Jeepers and ATVs. Pere Marquette rail trail for biking/snowmobiling/walking is across the road. Our little town of Lake with a party store, restaurant, and hardware is just around the corner. We invite you to come and enjoy our clean, comfortable home.
