PROPERTY DESCRIPTION

Location, Location, Location! This 3rd floor penthouse struts grand views of the ocean and beautiful St. Augustine Beach right in front. The newly constructed 2BR/2BA boasts modern tastes with beach views that Jimmy Buffet could sing about. 1-min walk to the beach. 15-min drive to downtown St. Augustine.  Embark in the daily rituals of beach exploration and discovering the glorious Florida sunrise & sunset.  2nd floor unit available upon request. DOWNTOWN ST. AUGUSTINE - 20 MIN DRIVE!!  
THE SPACE

Brand new 3rd floor penthouse - 2BR/2BA sleeps 8 people. Ensuite kitchenette including sink, refrigerator, microwave, toaster,  coffee machine, panini press, air fryer oven, double portable electric burner. COMPLIMENTARY coffee, tea, and wine for our guests - Kitchenette stocked with all plates and utensils.  *If an additional bed is needed, please communicate 2-days prior to check-in date to confirm the availability of our single beds. 
No pets allowed.

GUEST ACCESS

Our guests of 'LUX Penthouse Crescent Bch - 2BR/BA Sleeps 8 with have full access to the whole 3rd floor including the oversized 3rd floor balcony. There are interior stairs & an elevator (N of building) that can take you up to the 3rd floor to access the front door of unit. There are exterior stairs (SW of building) from 1st floor to 3rd floor balcony. Access to 1st floor patio is included and is shared with other guests.  Please be respectful of our other guests, regarding the common spaces on the property - Please clean up any mess in the 1st floor patio, as we share this space with others in the building. Additionally, please be respectful of others space and to keep common courtesy on the property at all times.
We live 5-mins away, so feel free to reach out via text or call. We are available at all times during the day! We are locals and have all the recommendations for things to do, see, eat, and drink in St. Augustine!  No shirt, no shoes, no problem - This is beach living!  

The beach access, restaurants, and bars are all in walking distance. Once you park, there's no need to drive anywhere! Downtown is a 20-min drive from our place.  
* Washer & Dryer are located on the 1st floor at the entrance of the interior stairs - Detergent is complimentary. As this washer and dryer is used by our 2nd & 3rd floor guests, please be respectful of the space. Please communicate any issues with the washer or dryer.

Welcome to Crescent Beach! Located just south of Downtown St. Augustine, just an easy 20-min drive. We are surrounded by restaurants, bars, and shops all within walking distance.

Not what I expected
We stayed here on a family "girl's trip." There were 7 of us and it was very tight. There were a couple of positive things about staying here, the main one being the location. It is literally a 1 minute walk across the street to the beach. The back deck is also roomy and nice. Overall, we were all a bit disappointed. There were no kitchen towels or wash cloths in the kitchen. I ended up buying some, so maybe there will be when you go. The kitchen appointments left much to be desired There were a couple of pans and an electric skillet. There were a couple of mugs, but no large glasses to drink from. There were no plates, only large bowls. The breakers tripped several time when we tried to cook breakfast. Even though one of the pictures clearly states "Full Kitchen," this is not a full kitchen. There is no stove, cook top, or dishwasher. There is a very small sink and a decent sized refrigerator that "gurgles' a lot. I guess if you are wanting to cook and eat in at all, this may not be the place for you. The bathrooms were decent. The bedrooms were ok with enough room and storage space for your things. . The bedding did not seem clean and fresh, but rather kind of stiff and old, and some of it stained. The decor definitely needs to be updated. The living room furniture is very uncomfortable, and all of the rugs are very worn and need cleaning. The owner did respond to my messages, although not promptly. The check-in process was very easy. The owner provided some coffee pods and a bottle of wine, but no corkscrew. I don't like to ever leave negative reviews, but just feel that others should know so they are not fooled like I was, or that maybe the owner will take some suggestions and make some improvements, because this little place has soooo much potential it is not living up to.
