Poikkeus tavanomaisesta huvilanvuokrauslomasta, Butler's on yksityinen historiallinen perääntyminen, jossa on suuri talo ja mökki 6 hehtaarilla entisestä istutuksesta, joka sijaitsee nimensä omaavan kylän yläpuolella. Butler's House ja mökki mahtuu mukavasti jopa 8 vierasta ja vuokrataan vain yhdelle osapuolelle kerrallaan, joten vieraat voivat käyttää yksinoikeudella uima-allasta ja puutarhaa ..

Butlers-vuoren juurella sijaitseva kiinteistö komentaa pyyhkäisemällä merinäköalat päinvastaisella maisemalla, väriltään ja tuoksulta. Vietä päiväsi rentoutumalla 35 jalan uima-altaalla katsellen merelle tai kävele raunioiden ja laajojen puutarhojen läpi. Saatat löytää esineen ja jopa joutua vihreiden apinoiden perheeseen.

Butler's House on ja tuntuu kodilta ja nukkuu mukavasti 6 aikuista ja 2 pientä alle 16-vuotiasta lasta. Hyvällä maulla sisustettu eklektisella valikoimalla antiikkisia ja sympaattisia moderneja huonekaluja, pääset nopeasti talon mukavaan ympäristöön. Butler's Housessa on kaksi queen-size-makuuhuonetta, joissa on tilavat kylpyhuoneet. Kolmannessa makuuhuoneessa on mukava sohva, jossa on vyötärö ja oma videonäkymä. Se sopii alle 10-vuotiaille lapsille.

Mökki, jonka mitat ovat 23 jalkaa x 23 jalkaa ja 8 jalkaa verannalla, on avoin suunnitelma, jossa on yksinkertainen keittiö, kylpyhuone, makuuhuone ja oleskelutila. Oleskelutilassa on queen-size-vuode (makuuhuoneessa) ja sohva, jossa on vyöry.

Siivous, uima-altaan puhdistus ja puutarhuri sisältyvät hintaan. Kokki voidaan järjestää etukäteen. Langaton, kaapeli-TV asennettu.

Beautiful tropical setting with ocean views providing the backdrop for a very special family holiday

The property is stunning - both the main house and cottage. The rooms are spacious and well appointed with verandas from which to see the sunrise over the Atlantic and to spend lazy evenings enjoying the sounds of the cicadas and tree frogs and the cooling breezes.We made use of all the outdoor seating areas , especially the pool and the landscaped grounds provided a perfect venue for morning yoga! We sailed, snorkeled, sunbathed on the beaches (Cades Bay was our favourite), and hiked in the rainforest - the waterfall hike near the house is not to be missed. The house is well situated to visit all the sites on the island and also the restaurants. We also had a special dinner at the house with an excellent private chef. We would love to return!

Amazing vacation spot

This is an amazing property and we had a really great time, start to finish. The grounds/gardens/pool/views are outstanding, the Butler House is a really special place. The host Kay was very responsive and we even got a call from the owner Tim from UK to check on us. I would go back in a heartbeat, it's just that good.

Living HIstory

Our 4th year at Butler’s was more heavenly than before. The main house was painted, new pans,new rugs which all made for a more spiffed up Butler’s. The gardens remain magnificent under the care of Franklin and Tony and have grown significantly! The gardenia on the terrace bloomed.There were more star fruit than you could possible eat. I understand in June there are five kinds of mango trees in fruit. We hike to the first waterfall on Mt Nevis or swim for at Herberts, Pinney’s or Chrishi’s. The owner is an absolute sweetie pie and very responsive. The staff are amazing. Having sailed the Caribbean, this is the spot. Read on line about Butler’s historical past.

Our Favorite Vacation Place

This was our third stay at Butler's House. Such a beautiful, charming, historic property. We brought friends with us this time to enjoy it as well! The house and cottage are very comfortable and well-equipped for cooking. The pool is lovely, set amongst gorgeous gardens with breathtaking views all around. We love the house and staff at Butler's so much, as they are all wonderful people (Kay, Camella, Tony, Franklin, and of course, Tim). We couldn't recommend this place highly enough and will certainly be back again!

Beautiful property & atmospheric experience

We had wanted to visit this property for quite some time and it was certainly worth the wait. The property itself has an old world charm and exudes a sense of history. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained. The kitchen has everything a cook might need to prepare meals, we were very impressed. With the ceiling fans and vents open there was a good breeze through the house. A great home. Nevis is a lovely island with so many interesting sights. We particularly enjoyed dinner at Golden Rock, Bananas, and Passions. We recommend the hike up to the nearby waterfall. Thanks to Kay, Camella, Tim, and the gardener from Guyana whose name slips my mind. We hope to return.

Holiday vacation

Our family spent a magical week at Butler’s House in Dec. It is such a unique spot - so lush and beautiful. We spent many hours on the shady veranda and by the pool. The property manager is so helpful and offered us much appreciated guidance for meals and activities and travel logistics. We have already booked a return visit!

Stunning House and Garden

Butler's House is historically significant and fascinating and has been renovated and kept up to a very high standard. The 6 acres of professionally landscaped grounds are absolutely beautiful. Camella, the house caretaker, and Kay, the house manager, are delightful and lovely people who made my stay as easy and pleasurable as possible. Looking forward to renting Butler's House again!! Butler's House Nevis

We last stayed in the house in January 2020. Despite all of the trauma that intervened in the past five years, Butlers House and grounds remained as beautiful and even magical as we remembered. We spent a great deal of time either at the teak table on the side porch or sitting on the couches on the large front porch. The views from all perspectives were perfect. We continued to read together outdoors far into the evening. We have no substantive complaints about anything. There were some communication problems with the on island management. I think perhaps better coordination would help deal with any of the issues we had. Inside the house was clean, attractive and very livable. The house is set on a hill and does catch all of the excellent breezes off of the Atlantic. The temperature indoors was always nice. All of the appliances worked well. The pool was clean and beautiful I do not think there could be a more picturesque place to swim in the Americas. Of course the grounds are beautiful, not dissimilar to many botanical gardens and even more approachable. I have no hesitation in recommending Butlers House in Nevis to anyone who seeks beauty, peace and calm.

Perfect for us

Gorgeous well landscaped grounds with view of both the mountains and the sea. It is hiking distance to the rain forest where you can find the waterfalls. Then, 15-20 minutes later you can be swimming in the gorgeous sea. Being on the windward side Nevis you are assured of a breese and rain forest rains, which we loved. As we live on an island year round, we likened it to be up island, away from the busier sections. Nevis is gorgeous so wherever you go you’ll be delighted.

Butler’s Paradise

My family and I, along with my sister-in-law’s family, stayed at this amazing property. We were very excited from what we saw on-line, but were overwhelmed with just how beautiful this property was in-person. The kids loved the pool, the guesthouse, and exploring the expansive property. The quaint home had so much charm, plenty of room for our large group, and the beautifully landscaped grounds were breathtaking. It was also well supplied with necessities. Our communication with Tim and Kay was easy and informative. Lovely management team! We would definitely love to stay at Butler’s house again - thanks, Tim, Kay & Camella!

Exceptional!

Our second stay at Butlers House. The property is truly magical with spectacular landscaped grounds, a gorgeous pool, quaint cottage, breathtaking views of both ocean and mountains, and abundant outdoor seating on decks and patios. The interior of the house is comfortable and historically fascinating. What really puts a stay at Butlers over the top, however, is the attentive care and friendliness of the staff from Kay, the house manager, to Camella the lovely and meticulous housekeeper, to Tony, the head of the grounds crew. Other delights are the morning and early evening shenanigans of the local troup of Vervet monkeys and the perambulations of the Butlers goat herd. This house is very special. Can't wait to visit again.

Our home in the Carribean

This is our second time staying at Butler's house on Nevis. The first time we were without children; we enjoyed it so much that we decided to return with our 2 littles ones this time. We had additional family join us all the way from Anchorage, Alaska. We spent time playing in the pool every day and loved sitting out for coffee and home cooked meals on the veranda or on the patio next to the kitchen. We enjoyed new restaurants (Drift and L'Escale) that opened on the island since our initial visit, but perhaps a favorite activity is stopping by Esmie's on the way back to Butler's for a cold one after almost full day of activities. We collected mangos from around the property and ripened for home made mango smoothies with some tequila. The house is located on the side of island with a perpetual breeze, so even on the hottest days it still feels cool in the shade. The host and his team are very responsive by email and/or phone. Wifi is speedy in the main part of the house. Netflix available. In summary, the whole family had a wonderful time at Butler's. The people of Nevis are warm and inviting. We will probably return again in the future when the kids are older.

The Best Private Escape !!

Butler's house is incredible! A true paradise! The house, grounds, pool and location were amazing. Talk about bucolic and a true escape from real life! It had everything ! We were a bit nervous about no air conditioning on a tropical island but now we know why :) ! The breezes were the best ! The property had all we needed, a mini resort. Some days we didn't go anywhere, just stayed and relaxed. The porch was the spot in the morning and in the evening after dinner. There were so many options - hang by the pool, read on the porch, walk the grounds etc. that everyone could do their own thing. The home and cottage easily accommodated our extended family group. The amenities were excellent. The property manager, Kay was easy to communicate with and very responsive! Butler's is on our list for a return vacation !!!

Beautiful manor house overlooking the sea

My wife and I, together with my sister and her husband, thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay at the Butler House. The house itself is an historic manor house, lovingly restored and beautifully furnished. The extensive grounds include many tropical specimen plantings. We enjoyed sitting on the outdoor verandah gazing at the sea below. Early in the morning and late in the afternoon, we enjoyed watching monkeys come out of the woods and frolic on the lawns, on the stone walls and in the trees. Although somewhat distant from the better restaurants and beaches in Nevis which are mainly located on the west coast of the island, the island is small enough that that did not present a big problem for us. In fact ,Butler House's somewhat remote location added to our experience giving us the feeling of being in the garden of eden. Nevis is an unspoiled island with a lot of West indian character, friendly people and beautiful beaches and mountain scenery. I recommend this rental property to all who want to experience an authentic Caribbean vacation.

Awesome Vacation

I have always wanted to go to Nevis and when Butlers House came up on VRBO I knew this was the one. We stayed for 3 weeks with different family members visiting. This was the best vacation I have ever had. First the house was amazing. Just like the pictures. We spent the biggest part of our time on the veranda enjoying the lovely garden and the view. The pool was also top notch. I can't put in words how beautiful this house and property is. I was concerned about the fact there is no A/C but if there had been one it would not have been used. The breezes never stop. The weather was perfect. I cannot say enough about Butlers House and also the property manager Kay Loomis is now a new friend. Enjoyed visiting with her. Camella came 2 times a week to tidy the house for us and we had dinner prepared for us on our first night there. Everyone we met were very friendly. If you are looking for a peaceful vacation this is the House to visit. We plan to return.

Heavenly Retreat

It may not be heaven but I'm pretty sure you can see it from the porch. The home is incredible and CURRENTLY well maintained. A couple small things: We were completely unsure what to do or how to use the housekeeper in the couple of times she showed up - once at 0630. We transported her back to her home. 2nd - there is no "on premises" pool skimmer net. The pool cleaner comes twice per week which is great but he takes his net with him. Unfortunately the bugs and debris do not adhere to the schedule and jump onto the surface of the beautiful pool on the off days. These are such minor issues though. The rum shack down by the main road is great and the people are incredibly friendly. It will be much cheaper to visit the rum shack than any of the main restaurants. The view and breeze are wonderful. My hope is that the current owner maintains his interest in the property and continues to maintain and develop it in the vision begun a few years back. I highly recommend this property.

Perfecto!!

Excellento! Big Smile. Champ. It seems the most Nevisians have names other than their given name. So to does Butlers House - it is Perfecto! From the moment you drive up to the well-coiffed and manicured property and set foot on its terraced slopes, you will be enchanted. Both inside and out, the loving attention to detail that the owners instilled in the property is palpable. The lemon oil that the cleaning lady rubs on the mahogany furniture and the bougainvillea enliven it with fragrances and the sunshine and beautifully planned lights at night make it sparkle from sun up to sunset. The house is well appointed with quality amenities from linens, towels and kitchenware. It was easy to book and the property manager, Kay, was very helpful procuring a car rental and surely would have been a font of information if needed. I would recommend this authentic and lovingly restored property to anyone. We had 2 people (a couple) our first night and added another (adult child) for two subsequent nights. We comfortably slept 4 but you could sleep 5. We only wish we stayed longer but the place was booked so we only stayed 6 nights.

Best property we’ve ever stayed at!

If you are looking for a relaxing vacation, surrounded by beauty and monkeys, look no further! I instantly fell in love the moment we drove through the gates. The house has much history and has been well maintained to showcase this. You can expect to see exactly what is portrayed through these sites. Tim (owner) and Kay (property manager) were so amazing to work with. Always in contact with us before, during and after our stay. They arranged payment, communications and transportation to the house seamlessly! Nevis is a quiet island filled with amazing people. It’s not a typical ‘resort’ atmosphere, but more an experience of true culture. We stayed at the house most of the morning/afternoon watching the monkeys, cooking and enjoying the views. We explored the beaches afterwards and went out to dinner 3 nights. I would highly recommend staying at Butlers! My husband and I have already shared the information with three of our friends who inquired after they saw our pictures. Would also be great for a group or large family trip! There is so much I could say, but don’t want to be long winded. Thank you Tim and Kay! Ps, take the taxi and private boat to get there after flying into St. Kitts. It’s worth it!

Butler's House

This property is amazing! I thought I was dreaming when I entered the gates. The property was beautiful with all the lush trees and flowers, the views were spectacular - especially the sunrise from the veranda - and the home and cottage were so comfortable and had everything you needed for your stay. The main house has been beautifully restored and is decorated appropriately with some lovely antiques, a mixture of old and new. My family utilized the cottage on the property which was charming and perfect for the additional space we needed. I have been to Nevis many times but have never experienced a housekeeper or groundskeeper during my previous stays. Camella (housekeeper) is so nice and really gave us good direction for places to visit on the island, especially the wonderful bakery she recommended. The groundskeepers come every day but were very quiet and respectful of our space. The property is on the non touristy side of the island but trust me, once you are there, you will thoroughly enjoy soaking up the beauty of this spectacular place. We also received a call while we were there from the owner of the property, Tim, who wanted to check on us and make sure we were being taken care of and had everything we needed for our stay. That was such a delightful surprise and much appreciated that he took the time to check in. I would not hesitate to stay at Butlers House again and again!

During that time, my late wife Diane and I realised that--like owners before us-- we are caretakers, ensuring Butler's will be around for many generations to come.
