Enjoy the one-story convenience of this oceanfront four-bedroom home in the privately gated West End. For your convenience and extra sleeping space, there is a queen sofa bed in the living area. A Turtle's Pace has central heat and air, a dishwasher, microwave, washer/dryer, ice maker, cable TV, and wireless internet access. Other amenities include an open and covered porch, an enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold water, an enclosed garage, a gazebo, and a private walkway to the beach with a sundeck.

There are no linens for the sofa bed.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Holden Beach family week

Our group of 9 enjoyed our stay here. The kitchen and main room were spacious and were great for hanging out it in. We appreciated the beach front access. Holden Beach is a great place for a family visit and this house worked well for us.

Disappointed

We stayed at this property in 2024 and were so pleased that we rebooked for 2025. However, this year the house wasn’t as clean, we had several maintenance issues, and found large bugs throughout the home. The upside of the home is the large, open space for gathering, numerous beds, and well equipped.

Good space

12 family members in our group. Space was adequate and beach access was good. Bit of a hunt for the washer and dryer. Plenty of towels, washcloths and toilet paper. Several live cockroaches were evidenced during our weeks stay… one was very large and all in kitchen area. Felt safe and secure in this location!

This was our second year staying at this property. This year was a bit disappointing. The kitchen faucet had a steady drip, the dishwasher didn’t clean, the bathroom door knob fell off repeatedly and we saw numerous large bugs throughout the home. The cleaning was subpar as we found several items under beds that weren’t ours and the walkway to the beach was trashy.

Its hard to have a bad time at the beach. Overall was a plesant experience just with small inconveniences throughout the week. Ac quit working and has to deal with multiple repair workers and dishwasher did not work. Plumber also in and out 3 out of 7 days we were there.

Great anniversary weekend at the Beach!

We enjoyed chilling at the beach this Martin Luther King weekend. We celebrated our anniversary there. Even though we had 2 days of rain we had 2 days of cold but great walking weather along the shoreline. Perfect location!

Wonderful and Cozy

This property is great! The house was just as expected and they had everything needed to host a larger number of people, we were so happy with the home. Being right on the beach was so nice and accessible! Host's directions were great.

Great Location

This property is in a great location with direct access to the beach. it is well appointed and is true to the listing. We did find several live bugs in the property during our stay. Overall we had a very good, relaxing stay.

Pleased!

We enjoyed our stay. The house had lots of beds and space for our group. Having the garage for parking was a huge plus! The house had a few maintenance issues but Vacasa was exceptional meeting our needs in a timely manner. I would definitely stay again.

Beach house review

Enjoyed the living area and outdoor sink for shell washing. Would not recommend for really young children due to all the stairs leading to beach and the lack of permanent latching gate on deck at top of stairs leading to garage.

Pretty good home

The home has been refurbished and is overall clean. The furniture is quite worn but you can use pillows. The walk to beach is not for elderly or handicapped family members.

Simply not a well cared for home. I am sure the owners love the shabbiness/beachy home, but care should be given to assure your renters feel the same way. We dealt with a roach infestation, broken cabinet doors and broken legs on dining chairs as well as exposed, rusty nails on the walkway to the beach. I would be surprised if there were any return renters.

Deck needs lot of work. Kitchen cabinets peeling and that is the first impression when u walk in. Table is bubbled up all over. Sand covered the outside shower area and needed to be cleaned. The walkway sand area needs to be cut back as one of the plants cut my mom's leg. The layout of the house eas good and living room furniture an a plus

Diamond in the rough

We absolutely loved our stay here. House was very nice. Only thing that could be upgraded is the outside furniture, we brought our own chairs and so glad we did because the rockers were not safe one was already broken when we got there so we never sat in them. I think the salt air really got to the wooden rockers. It wasn’t really a big deal to us but to some it may be a big deal. Loved having your own private walkway to the beach. Would book again next year however it is double the price. House does have washer and dryer however we never found it or knew how to access the locks to get to it, not a big deal. Bed was not very comfortable for us think that could be upgraded as well. None of these issues would keep us from renting again just want to make owners aware of things that could be better. Great location and lovely home.

Updated Sept 22'

The boardwalk has been repaired & is in great shape (all the houses around have long boardwalks). The carpet & tile is gone & replaced with a nice vinyl/laminate throughout. Updated appliances. This was not our initial booking as we were transferred last minute (so not sure if this property was being rented out previously). The showerhouse is being repaired & currently not working. Just missing the spigots & electric running to it. Lots of beach stuff & charcoal grill in garage with updated washer & dryer. Outdoor lighting in back needs looked at. The house is small, clean, & quaint. (1960's/70's build my guess). Shells galore! Overall a very nice experience for 2 guests. Almost 4 stars.

We were unable to go with the grand babies on Easter weekend due to the owners notifying us only six days before the trip that they were going to be doing construction. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

The best

Our large family of 7 children couldn’t have been happier. We had a tropical storm during our stay and the house was a huge comfort. We loved the access to the beach, the wash station, and the layout of the house. We couldn’t say enough. The only thing is we couldn’t use the pack n play there as it looked like the last guests child threw up in it and it was dirty. Other than that, everything was perfect!!! Thank you!!!
