Welcome to the beautiful, quaint southern town of Southport, NC. Enjoy a short walk or bike ride to the waterfront area to take in the beautiful view, or into town where you will find many small, unique shops, cafes, and restaurants. This one floor house is spacious with new furnishings and hardwood floors throughout. Your stay at this house will include 3 spacious bedrooms, large living room, remodeled kitchen with a nice dining area, large, screened porch, laundry room and 2 full bathrooms. One of the bathrooms has been recently remodeled with double sinks, an oversize shower and a jacuzzi tub. The master bedroom has a king bed, walk-in closet, and full bathroom. The other 2 bedrooms each have a queen size bed. All bedrooms have their own Smart TV. The living room has a 50" Smart TV with comfortable seating. Enjoy eating outside on the screened porch that includes a dining table for 6 plus additional seating, and a gas grill just off the outside door. Books, games, & cards are available for both children & adults. The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven, blender, filtered water, electric teapot, and coffee maker (single serve & 12 cup pot). Enjoy your morning coffee or favorite beverage while seated in the rockers on the front porch. There is also a large laundry room with stackable washer and dryer. Beach chairs, cooler and umbrella are available for guests for your days at the beach. Tennis courts and a playground for children is just 1/2 mile at the end of the street. Parking is available in the paved driveway with a carport.

Neat as a pin - and great location!

This property is impeccably neat and well appointed. Beds are very comfortable, living room cozy, and kitchen lovely to cook in. The location is great – close to the ferry to bald head Island and also close to downtown Southport and the water. We recommend this place highly!

Spacious and cozy

Very clean, well equipped, cozy with plenty of space for everyone. It was a little too chilly to enjoy the screened in porch, so we’d like to stay here again when we visit during warmer weather.

Great property. Very clean and close to downtown Southport. In town for a family wedding. Luckily Hurricane Debby moved out before we arrived so we were able to enjoy Southport.

Great Place

We loved the house, the location and sitting on the screened in back porch drinking our coffee each morning. The house was very clean and was perfect for a nice time. The evening walk to downtown each evening for dinner was nice also.

Perfect for family

Wonderful getaway

Don was a great host, with a clean and comfortable property. Linens and beds were super comfy! Great location within walking distance to downtown Southport. If you go and visit this area, definitely stay at Don's and check out Bald Head Island, which was a wonderful surprise for a place to spend a day! Thanks Don!

Ideal Spot in North Carolina

Great 3 bedroom in NC with excellent amenities. We were there a week and it was perfect. The home is VERY nice wroth maybe the best mattress I've ever slept on. We used it as a base to explore both NC and SC. Highly recommend.

great week/clean house!

We had a great week in Southport! The house was very clean and any issue we had, Don was responsive almost immediately and tried to help resolve it! The home had tons of drawers/closet space/shelves and a place for everything and also lots of extras available for our use. The screened in back porch was wonderful! The homes location was excellent as well. Overall a great stay!

Southport Solitude

The home is located in a quiet neighborhood just a couple of minutes from downtown Southport. The screened porch on the rear of the house is a haven of quiet. The entire house is well-appointed. We experienced nothing but a great, relaxing time with our entire family. We hated to pack up and leave.

Perfect location for historic exploring or short drive to beach

This is the perfect location to explore this lovely coastal town. It's just a ten-minute walk to the waterfront or the shops in historic downtown. A 15-minute drive and you're at the beach of Oak Island. The house, which is on a quiet street, was comfortable and immaculately clean. We couldn't ask for more and will definitely book there on our next trip.

5 STARS is not enough!!

This property was PERFECT in every way! The location was just right as well. Close to downtown, the riverwalk, and the ferry. The neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful. Outstanding communication from the owner from the time we booked to the time we checked out. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a stay in Southport!! We will definitely book this house again next time we can get down that way.

Very, very clean, extremely well equipped, excellent location making it very easy to get around. the house had more room that what we needed but it was very nice. We decided to stay there because they allowed a cancellation prior to the trip. Since I have health issues, that is a real plus.

A gem in Southport

Beautifully appointed house with new furnishings & a well stocked kitchen in a quiet neighborhood. Breakfast in the screened porch was lovely - such a pretty back yard and so many butterflies to watch. Property owners very responsive to all inquiries and really easy to work with. Very convenient to Southport and the Southern Coast beaches. Easy access for ferries to Bald Head Island or the Ft. Fisher area. Great to come "home" to during our stay.

Lots of attention to details! Comfortable beds, towel bundles for each person. Love the front porch rockers! Light switches were all labeled taking out the guess work. TVs in each room (didn’t care but some do) so close to so much! Would def come back

Wonderfully comfortable home in excellent location

This was one of the most comfortable homes in which we have stayed on our entire 3 month winter trip south. The construction is solid, no flimsy bits - and it was super for someone with mobility limitations (once inside it is barrier free, and both 3-4 step up entries have super solud handrails). Also the landscaping and back screen porch are lovely. The neighbours are friendly, and its a super safe area. Best of all, within a couple of blocks, I could walk along the wonderful waterfront and watch the wonderful ships and views, or stroll all the shops along the main strip. We even rented a golf cart nearby for a good rate and lived like locals. The communication with the owner was fast, helpful, and friendly - top notch all round.
