Enjoy three-levels of comfort at this gorgeous lakefront cabin close to trails for ATVs and snowmobiles. Quiet and peaceful, this fantastic home features a spectacular great room with a well-equipped, full kitchen, a dining table for six, and a living area with comfortable seating, a flatscreen TV, and a towering, double-sided fireplace that reaches all the way up to the incredible vaulted ceiling. On the lower-level, you'll find a fun-filled rec room with a foosball table, dart board, and an additional TV for sporting events or movie nights. Outside, relax in the screened-in sunroom with a view of the lake, or take a walk down to the water where you can fish or set off from the dock in your kayak, canoe, or boat.

A true northwoods gem
What a great cabin on Oxbow Lake. The location was wonderful, with sunsets from the dock, privacy from neighbors and a full recreation lake. The log home was solid and secure and mechanically sound. There were a couple screen doors in need of repair, but no issues using alternate entries. The beds were average. Very clean and great linens, no sagging, but I have a high bar and don't prefer spring mattresses. Showers were great and both bathrooms were large. Kitchen and baths were fully stocked (and the cupboards and drawers were even clean and organized). Plenty of dock space and it has electricity ran to the dock. The grounds could use some TLC. We ran into ground bee nests and were stung multiple times and weeds are overgrowing around the steps down to the dock. If the owners would leave a few landscaping tools, guests can help care for the property. The lake was very nice, but be mindful of the no wake policy at 200ft from shore. If you bring a boat, note that the turn-around space at the property is fairly small. We had to back the boat out about 3/4 mile because we could not turn around our tandem fishing boat trailer. Overall, we would absolutely stay here again.

Northwoods Paradise
This place was as advertised. Location secluded but close to everything. Lake is beautiful and fishing was mediocre. Cabin is tastefully decorated and clean. Beds are descent. Furniture should be donated but it worked. Phone reception was good and wifi was excellent. No washer and dryer. Overall a great place at a good rate. Communication between property managers was excellent.

VACASA needs to do better, Period!
No cell phone coverage regardless of provider so if you need to call out you are out of luck. The screen in porch was out of commission put together with duct tape and the mosquitoes were brutal. No garbage cans so we piled the garbage in a pile on the screen porch. To narrow of a driveway near the house so do not pull a boat or pontoon you wont turn it around. Game room downstairs was just for looks on their advertising electric dart board had no darts. The foose ball table had no balls. The power went out and trees fell over the driveway we walked out to the hwy and called the 1 800 number nobody came we ended up walking to town 13 miles purchased a log chain and paid a local to drive us back pulled the trees out with our dodge 1 ton 4x4 . Called for 2 more days straight from the nearest town. Nobody helped us. We purchased out own lights and bought a 5 gallon bucket to fetch water from the lake to flush toilets. Imagine 6 kids in this situation. Vacasa arrived after 2.5 days to repair a dvd player from a previous ticket even though we had no power laughable. House was wired for back up generator and had a laminated instructions list how to engage it however No generator to be found. Vacasa offered us 198.00 dollars to pay us for the log chain lol. 24/7 customer support is non existent trust me. Spend your 3500 to 4000 a week elsewhere. Im thankful we had the ability to walk to town and had a 1 ton truck to pull trees and didn't have an medical issue. Vacasa needs to be better they need to have a plan for properties that are off the grid at least tell folks that. You need to have a plan to follow up on egrees ingress issues that could have been a real bad deal.
