Three bedroom, two bathroom townhome located in the heart of Lake Charles. Just minutes away from restaurants, casinos, shopping, nightlife, arts, and city parks.
Kitchen, bedroom, bath, and laundry essentials are provided. WIFI is available, TV in the living room has Internet streaming only with access to Netflix, Hulu, Disney Plus, Youtube, and more.
Boho bungalow is fun, with bright decor and lots of natural light. Game shelf and floor seating cushions. Lighted back porch outdoor area with seating, and Propane / Charcoal Grill.

Pretty Good

Super cute & met all of our needs. Beds were comfortable, but like other reviews, common space furniture wasn't too comfy (not a huge deal). The kitchen was definitely bare bones, but also not a big deal since we did not cook this trip. Super cute place that met all of our needs of having a place to sleep and hang out after going to the casino.

Cute but very uncomfortable furniture

The property is cute but the furniture is cheap and uncomfortable. The sofa is so thinly padded you can feel the boards. The one bed used was okay but the sheets don't fit well and don't stay on. There is not a single comfortable place to sit in the entire townhouse. The coffee pot had not been washed after prior occupants' use. There is very little in the way of dishes or utensils. There is one bowl and only 2-3 teaspoons. The pots are super thin and everything sticks to them. If the owners want to continue renting the space, I suggest they invest in some furnishings. I would not stay here again.

Nice Property

The townhome was very nice and spacious for our group of 5 adults. We were in town for a tennis tournament at the Lake Charles Racquet Club so the location was perfect. The surrounding area isn’t great but the townhome is on a private road with multiple townhouses so the immediate area was nice and quiet. A security gate to access the private road would be a big plus if it were to be added. We would definitely stay here again.

Hurricane Ida Evacuees

We evacuated to Lake Charles due to hurricane Ida and were not able to find any hotels. I was so grateful to come across this townhouse on VRBO for my family. We weren't sure how long it would be before we were able to get back home so the washer, dryer and full kitchen was a big plus for us. This house is extremely spacious and was very clean when we arrived. It is nicely decorated but definitely not kid friendly. There were a lot of breakable items that we had to move or pick up. We loved the natural light during the day but having it come through the bedroom windows made it impossible for anyone to sleep late and nap. The kitchen only had the essentials and there were no bowls. There is only one TV in the house and the wifi was very slow and didn't work most of the time making it hard for the kids to watch TV or play on their tablets. It also made it difficult for us to apply for disaster assistance. I contacted the owner to fix the wifi issue and he told me that he would check into it but we never heard back from him. Being that we are not familiar with the area we were a little hesitant about the location. It looked to be in an older part of town but we did not have any problems while we were there and would definitely stay again if we needed to.

Property manager/owner takes too long to respond to messages and is only in it for the money

My husband and I were really looking forward to this long weekend. We live 3 hours away and were almost ready to leave when my 81 year old mother in law fell. I sent her to the hospital for an xray and learned she had broken her hip and would require immediate surgery. I messaged the property manager and did not hear from him until the following day. In that message, I explained the situation and requested to reschedule. I did NOT want my money back, only to reschedule our trip. In the end, he offered 1/2 off our next stay. Why would we want to stay there when this person had no compassion for the situation to allow us to reschedule? It wasn't like this property had people lined up waiting to rent it, and we felt like we should have at least been given the opportunity to reschedule. We have used VRBO for numerous stays domestically and internationally and have never dealt with such an uncooperative and non responsive owner/property manager.

Weekend getaway

Overall we had a great experience. We loved the decor and layout of the house! There was plenty of room for my family and board games to keep everyone entertained! The only thing I would recommend is adding some more plates/bowls and pots/pans. Everything else about the house exceeded our expectations!
