Nestled in the woods with a Smoky Mountains backdrop and FLOWING RIVER, mountain cabins don’t get any better than Lil Bear’s Den. Natural logs make up the exterior and inside you’ll find the warm, welcoming glow of hand-finished pine. This cabin is a jewel with three bedrooms and the option to sleep up to eight when the futon in the sunroom is used as a bed for two.

Lil Bear’s Den has it all - from a huge stone fireplace to a gourmet kitchen. There’s not a bad season to visit this woodland cabin. You’ll enjoy dogwoods in spring, flaming colors in autumn, winter skiing, and the gurgling creek in summer. When you walk into Lil Bear’s Den, you’ll be delighted with the cozy furniture and open floor plan. Grab a seat on the couch to watch the large HDTV with BluRay and cable. Or, enjoy a good book by the crackling fire. There’s plenty of space for family games and a deck outside with a bubbling hot tub to soak in after a day of hiking or skiing. It’s fun to sit out on the deck and enjoy a morning cup of coffee while you listen to the stream and the songbirds singing their hearts out above.

Settling down in your primary suite after a day of mountain play will be the best way to relax. You’ll find a king-sized bed, dresser, smart HDTV with BluRay DVD player, and your own private access to a deck where you can breathe in the delicious mountain air. Your primary en-suite includes both a tub and a walk-in shower along with a large vanity.

The second bedroom offers a king-size bed with a dresser topped by a smart HDTV and BluRay player. Guests will sleep well in this peaceful, beautifully appointed room. Bedroom number three includes a queen-size bed with a wardrobe that holds a smart HDTV and private access to a deck with beautiful forest views. These bedrooms share a spacious bathroom with a shower/tub combination.

Lil Bear’s Den has its own full-size washer and dryer in the laundry room and there’s also a wonderful all-season sunroom with windows on three sides to bring nature’s beauty indoors for you to enjoy. You’ll also find a picnic table you can use whenever you cook out on the grill that’s mounted along the path wall.

You are a short drive from both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge where you’ll find Dollywood and Dollywood Splash Park. In Gatlinburg, try the gondola ride, take the zip line, and visit the interesting local shops. Of course, you’ll want to spend at least one day exploring Great Smoky Mountains National Park where you can hike, bike, or ride horses.
