My first time at Myrtle Beach

The suite was not cleaned is difficult to describe the smell in the suite. I don’t know if it’s humidity or something else. The space is nice and the view is too.There is no beach chairs or towels, no instructions for the wi-fi.

Reviews are important to read.

I read all of the reviews after getting to the room and seeing that the floor was dirty and you could barely see out of the windows (ocean view was nice after cleaning the windows). All complaints from 4 years are still unfixed and not taken seriously from the owner or host at all. Could be a very nice place.

Owner was great, property was the issue

Sherry was great, very quick to communicate. Room was spacious, appliances were clean and worked well. Very handy to have. The issues we had, had nothing to do with Ms Sherry. This unit is located in a corner so your view is partially obstructed by the front section of the hotel. That front section has a hallway where people can unfortunately see in part of your space. It’s not as private as most would like. So just a heads up. The sun deck below you is a beautiful area for anyone to explore. Bonus point too is security walks around frequently! All in and all it’s a great place just a heads up. Once again sherry is wonderful, the resort just needs work.

View was awesome

The view and proximity to the beach was bar none. The air conditioner in the unit leaked water the entire time we were present, so that within itself was very inconvenient. The shower curtain was mildew, so we burnt candles to mask the mildew smell. Location: 10 View: 8 Room: 5

Sherry was amazing and accommodating during our whole trip, and even after we left. The location was perfect, steps from the beach and close to all amenities. The room was nice and clean and had everything we needed for a week long visit.

Property was great, perfect for two people. Sitting on the balcony listening and watching the ocean was beyond amazing! Bathroom needs upgraded, shower curtain and towel rack broken. Leak in shower faucet, but otherwise shower worked. Would go again!

Wonderful Oceanfront Condo

This condo was perfect for the 2 of us traveling. Was able to cook in the kitchen, and it was enough for us. We truly enjoyed this place, and Sherry was wonderful at communicating and checking on her guests. We loved the pools and amenities here. And we absolutely loved sitting on the huge balcony one floor down from our room. We stayed out there every night and watched the waves come in, with the moon shining. It was very peaceful. Definitely will be revisiting this place. Highly recommend.

Review

Towel rack was broken, the furniture on the deck was full of water. There was a cockroach on the wall at the head of the bed. The elevators were broken on our last stay. That was a horrible experience.

Softball getaway

Communication with Sherry from the beginning was outstanding. She was very accommodating place was the perfect size for a weekend getaway. A lot to do on property, I would definitely book again, went for my granddaughter’s softball tournament when it was just perfect.

Terrible cleanliness and in need of maintenance

I would’ve appreciated the name of the hotel to know where I was going instead of just the address. It was a little confusing.Parking was not easy until we realized we the street after almost getting in several fender benders trying to get back out of the parking garage.The room smelled of fish. I don’t know if something was left in the refrigerator and went bad, but it was a very strong odor. The second you walked into the room.The bathroom was not cleaned. There was hair on the tub. The bathmat in the tub had mold on it. There was also mold up underneath the rim of the bathtub. I personally cleaned it, and when I tried to rinse out the tub, it was clogged and I ended up cleaning out a bunch of hair from the drain. The shower curtain had mold on it, and the shower curtain rod is broken coming out of the wall. The TV was not working. Something was spilled in the freezer and froze. I think it was fish juice or shrimp juice because when you opened it, it was pretty strong odor. The cabinets in the kitchen are in need of maintenance. The coffee pot was covered with grease obviously not wiped down the microwave had food inside of it. However, the linens seemed clean and the towel seemed clean. There was no place to hang anything in the closet. It was full of cleaning supplies towels, etc. also only one sliding door on it and no tissues only one roll of toilet paper and no paper towels or anything like that. There was also a lot of dust and dirt on the doors and walls

The place was very dirty. 4 towels and wash cloths for two people for a six night stay. Toaster didn’t work. No toilet paper. No paper towels.

Terrible service

The property itself is run down. Elevators are trash, shower curtain rod was popping out the walls on both sides, towel rack connected to the wall was broken off, sink was wiggly as he'll, bloody sheets. Owner didn't even have the audacity to give us new sheets. Not worth your money

Terrible Experience

This property honestly needs to be kept up with. The walls are all scraped, the bathroom faucet was broken, the shower curtain was almost completely ripped off the wall, the cupboards had quite a few that were falling off the hinges, and it smelt extremely musty throughout the whole room. The cleaning that was done had to have been quick because there were smear marks all over the headboard and floor as well as a dust pile by the toilet in the bathroom. When I contacted her about the bathroom stuff she said she would have someone come fix stuff on Friday and no one ever showed up. I am extremely upset we paid as much as we did to stay here.

Oceanfront Magnificant Getaway is the exact opposite of everything she advertised.

The first thing you notice as you open the door is the overwhelming smell of mold and mildew then water all over the floor with no air conditioning. Everything about it was filthy from the toilet to the couch. I took lots of photos and spent hours on phone with host and vrbo. She refused to give refund so sent me to another of her rentals that night which also had no air conditioning because the unit was barely hanging in and was full of pigeons. It was just as nasty and with non working toilet. Needless to say, I had to spend more time on phone and money to stay somewhere. We were going on over 30 hours without sleep or food at that point and had checked into 3 different places. Last one was great and not rented form the host. Nightmare, Beware! Do not believe her or her listings.

Host was very nice and fast answering emails. The sundeck is great with chairs and hammocks, the condo had the pools, hot tubs and you are on the beach. When you walk in the kitchen is clean with counter tops I would like in my house. The bed is comfortable and my husband loved the pillows. Then you see the sofa it needs to be cleaned, covered or replaced there are stains in several spots. I would not set on it I put towels on it so we could put our luggage someplace because the closet was so full of supplies we were not able to use it, the hat or coat tree that is held together by duck tape needs gone . These things could be taken care of without spending tons of money and the unit would look 100x better. The view is 1/3 ocean front because a building block the rest. Parking is a nightmare not the Host fault ,they do have parking across the street which would not be a problem for people without health issues. The condos do have security and sundeck and pools close at 10 which I liked. Would I stay here again YES if the sofa was cleaned or replaced! We still enjoyed the trip and that's what counts

Questionable View..Moderately Priced

We stayed at this studio, king in Myrtle Beach for two weeks in mid March. The unit is nicely laid out with the king bed but also a couch and chair so you are not forced to sit on the bed (very comfortable bed) all day. Kitchen full sized. Number of small issues. The kitchen had no towels, oven mits, garbage bags, a very poor selection of cutlery and pots and pans.No kettle, a small toaster and a mish mash set of dishes. Kitchen looked as if it was ‘garage sale equipped. Small things like, television that turned off frequently before resetting, heating/air conditioner that shut down with an error signal, bathroom towel rack that constantly fell off(missing two screws) bathroom light fixture too close to the ceiling..burn marks. These all detrac from the overall unit. A small amount of $$ and time invested would fix all these things easily.What can’t be readily fixed is the balcony. Advertised as an ocean front, one of a kid, unique corner unit. I realize an owner wants to rent their property but this is very misleading. Unit does face the ocean but this corner unit is blocked by a protruding end of the building. It shields two thirds of the balcony with the view being the hallway and rooms of the lower floor. Sun leaves the balcony at 11:30 in the morning and there is no view up the beach in one direction. To be frank ‘beach view’ rentals get as much or more of a view. Owner needed to be much more transparent about this.Owner is a great communicator. Moderately priced
