Conveniently located in the heart of Mohican, this 2 bed 2 bath cottage features a hot tub & outdoor concrete patio fire ring surrounded by towering trees. Covered front porch offers a place to grill and dine outdoors or relax in the hot tub. Inside you will find an open floor plan connecting the kitchen, living room, and dining area. The hall way leads you to a master bedroom with on suite and an additional bedroom in the rear of the house.

Very nice and relaxing

We very much enjoyed our stay. Rooms are nice size. Having two bathrooms was a real plus. Love the back porch and the hot tub. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely LOVED the Cedar Cottage!! Very well maintained and as described. Had more furnishings than listed. Everything worked well and we especially appreciated and enjoyed the hot tub, Will definitely recommend and would Love to stay there again! Thank You!!

Overall stay was enjoyable. I would have preferred a more detailed cleaning, but overall was not bad. There were loose floor boards in several places, none were a major issue. In need of some up-keep.We lost power for a few hours out first night. It was an area outage but the house alone. We had to go out in the dark, in the rain to find a place open to buy candles. We called the fire dept to report outage. There was quick response to the call by the power company. The communication with the host was excellent.

Cozy little place

We enjoyed staying here and it’s close to Mohican activities. Kitchen stocked with anything you would need as far as tools and cooking items. Clean but could use tops dusted there were cobwebs. Hot water doesn’t last long.

Good for a quick stay with dogs

The cabin is some sort of old double wide or mobile home that’s been dropped here. A lot of water damage throughout the property. The cabin sits close to the road and you can hear traffic. However the hot tub and covered porch were wonderful amenities and furniture inside and out was clean and free of damage. Dogs allowed and hot tub was the main reason we stayed here. Close to most Mohican Trail heads.

4th getaway

We came here with our two XL breed dogs. The cabin is fantastic! It’s a little close to a busy road (but still private) - just a caution- but nothing that can’t be managed whatsoever. Very nice deck that our dogs loved to chill on with us. Hot tub is very clean, and furniture is nice/ managed. Overall place feels like a second home. Will definitely stay again no doubt about it.

The Cabin was very nice.We really enjoyed our short 3 day stay.The time flew by.The fire pit and Hot Tub was totally relaxing !Really liked it had 2 full bathrooms also.The Cabin was very roomy and comfortable. Had everything you needed.The owner Drew was very nice and responsive.I will definitely Book there again ! Hopefully for longer next time.😊 I highly recommend Booking this Cabin with Drew ! Pros: All amenities were in working order. Grill worked well. Hot tub was clean. Living room was spacious. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking items. Cons: Property had A LOT of minor damage and poor repair work. Hot tub was a stone throw away from a busy road. Bathtub was cracked and grimy. Cellar doors on the side of cabin looked old and creepy. Overall: We enjoyed our stay but were looking for a nicer indoor space for a winter trip. If you have pets or will be spending a lot of time away from the cabin, this might be a good bargain for you. I would not stay here again.

Review

This is a double wide mobile home modified to look like a rustic cabin. They've done a good job with this but it remains a mobile home with the features you'd expect. It is clean and fairly well maintained but doesn't have the character I'd hoped to find in a cabin. There were some housekeeping issues, as follows: fingerprints and hand smudges on the TV screen and door leading to the deck, hot tub water cloudy and foamy, soft floor in parts of home with a hole in the hallway floor (covered by carpet). There is also a distinct odor upon entering the main door. I spoke to the property manager about the tub and he did send someone to address the cloudy water but it remained cloudy after the treatment. All this being said, the home was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.

Very clean, well maintained. Kitchen was stocked with everything! Bathrooms were also stocked with everything you would need. Bed was comfortable, bedroom was quiet. Patio is awesome. Hot tub was awesome... could have used a little more water. It's overall excellent.. except for the traffic noise.

This was a great place to be...super-close to Mohican State Park. A nice retreat after a day hiking, biking, sightseeing. The hot tub was the centerpiece! Kitchen had everything we need. Property is nicely maintained. Would definitely come back!

My only complaints were the hot water hardly lasted the hot tub needs instructions and get rid of the decaf and put regular coffee! All in all it was a perfect trip beautiful cabin secluded in nature!
