Worst stay I've ever had in a VRBO property
When we first arrived, my first thought was the neighborhood was transitioning. The front of the property, the empty lot next to it, and the streets were piled with trash and litter. We entered the property and the apartment is at the top of a steep set of stairs that look like they never get swept or cleaned. When we entered the property, it was filthy as the maids didn't show up to clean after the last guests left. We messaged Yancy who responded immediately and the cleaners were there within half an hour. He promised to give us a discount on our cleaning fee for our inconvenience but you guessed it, that never happened. After they cleaners left, the apartment was pretty clean. There is a roach motel next to the washing machine but I chose to ignore that. The bed in the first bedroom is on a metal bed frame that creaks every time you move. It is only one mattress. The bathroom is small and the shower is the smallest shower you will ever use. It is very uncomfortable. You can't turn around in the shower without touching the shower curtain or the walls and getting the floors wet. But all of that was forgiveable until the next night. We came back from dinner at about 8 pm. The first floor was having what appeared to be a party. None of my business, right? WRONG. It was a nightclub! And you could hear the music and conversation in the apartment just like you were there. I had to put on headphones to try to lessen the noise. It went on until 3AM. You have been warned.
