Deep in the Tennessee woods, you’ll find Mountain Memories, a beautiful cabin that’s an ideal retreat any season of the year. In summer, you have the complex’s swimming pool to cool off in and in winter there is a cozy wood-burning fireplace to curl up beside. For most of the year you can enjoy the sights and sounds of the woods from the cabin’s wraparound deck. You’ll feel far from the crowd in this handsome cabin, but with just a 10-minute drive you can be on Gatlinburg’s main thoroughfare, enjoying restaurants, museums and interesting shops.
You’ll feel the cabin’s warm welcome from the moment you enter Mountain Memories. A comfortable couch and large armchair draw you to settle in to watch the blazing fire in the fireplace, chat or maybe watch a game on the flat-screen TV with cable. You also have free Wi-Fi within Mountain Memories, which is a great help when you want to share photos with friends back home. There are so many restaurants and dinner shows around the area that you could dine out every day. But, when you see the fully equipped kitchen and all the prep space you have, you may want to cook some chili or stew to satisfy hungry guests. Serve everyone around the dining table that also doubles as a great place for a card game. In the morning savor your first cup of coffee out on the deck as the forest awakens.
Mountain Memories has two en-suite bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed, ceiling fan and personal TV. Each bedroom also has a private bathroom with a shower/tub combination. One of the tubs is a Jacuzzi so you can end your day with a soothing jetted bath. As a convenience, Mountain Memories has its own washer and dryer, so feel free to pack light!
Mountain Memories is centrally located and a quick jaunt to experience all that Gatlinburg offers. Be sure to check out the eclectic shops, breweries, distilleries, delicious dining and fun entertainment. A quick 30-minute drive down Pigeon Forge Parkway gets you to Pigeon Forge where you can spend a day in Dollywood, visit unique museums and take in a good dinner show. And what Smoky Mountain vacation is complete without seeing the Great Smoky Mountains National Park? With its many trails for hiking, biking or horseback riding, stunning vistas and beautiful waterfalls, it’s sure to be a spot you’ll come back to year after year.
