Our reservation was initially cancelled due to the management company telling us to book direct rather than through AirBNB, so when we cancelled our Airbnb reservation and re booked through them, they cancelled our reservation entirely “by mistake” and then when they tried to re book for us, they already gave our dates away to another reservation (we had this stay booked for over a month before they mistakenly cancelled our reservation). We had to change dates/flights/reservations and travel and was compensated by a 10% discount when our new dates were off season and no bookings in sight on either end for what we were forced to choose because they refused to fix their mistake. For the stay itself, we had issues daily, no heat for the pool, no heat for the hot tub, no safety fence for the pool (listed and pictured, we have 2 small kids) so many ants in the kitchen that we had to dispose of food. The location was perfect, but did not outweigh the issues with the management company and property issues. I will say I appreciated Ed, who did his best to remedy all of the issues daily, and it felt awful that he was the one burdened with all of the constant issues of the property. Overall would not recommend due to absurd amount of property inconsistency’s and the horrific customer service from the management company. The initial mishandling of their “reservation mistake” should have been warning enough.
