This quaint 1950's era cottage (previously named, Cozy Cottage) is an easy 5 minute walk to the ocean, to several restaurants and to Jaycee Park. It is a great spot to enjoy your Tybee time whether you're seeking quiet solitude or connection to the island community (or a combination of both!)

Hermit Crab's Cottage is a refurbished 2 bedroom, 1 bath bungalow and is ready to welcome guests to Tybee Island! The home offers a full kitchen, living area, and 2 bedrooms furnished with queen size beds. The living room and both bedrooms each have a TV with basic cable and Roku for streaming your favorite entertainment. The bedrooms share a Jack-n-Jill bathroom with a standing shower. For music lovers, there is a quality stereo to play your favorite tunes from your device.

With multiple outdoor spaces, you will be able to enjoy the outside in any weather. There is a fully fenced-in backyard with seating areas and decks in the sun and in the shade. There is a spacious screened porch with comfortable seating and a hot tub (with speakers connected to the inside stereo.) An outdoor fire pit is also located in the backyard to warm you up on a chilly night. There is a gas grill and an outdoor dining set (seating for 4) on the side deck.

Did we mention the hot tub and the outdoor shower? Rinse off after the a hot sandy day at the beach. Warm up those cool winter nights in the hot tub, which is inside the screened porch living area.

This cottage is situated on a quiet street in the North End of Tybee where you can enjoy a restful vacation experience without giving up convenience. This home is a great retreat for a couple, a few close friends, or a small family vacation.

To access the main beach, take an easy stroll just 4 blocks up a quiet unpaved road, with no busy traffic to cross on your way. For the "active life" and families, there is easy access to Jaycee Park with its playground, frisbee golf, basketball court and walking trails. Biking is a joy on the island! (look for specially marked roads in some neighborhoods.) Within a 5-10 minute walk, you will also find several shops and local dining options.

This home is pet-friendly, for an additional fee. Please know ahead, NO DOGS ARE ALLOWED ON THE BEACH at any time.

PETS: This home is pet friendly for up to two (2) adult dogs and additional pet fees. Cats are not allowed.
