Looking for a cozy getaway for four? Look no further than Destin West Villa #401 on Okaloosa Island. Resting on the Gulf side with a partial Gulf view, this studio space has one bedroom, one bathroom, and everything you will need to relax at the beach. The bathroom has been updated with a new vanity and garden tub. In the main living area, there is a kitchenette with a smooth top range with two burners for home-cooked meals. Relax on your private wrap-around balcony and take in a breathtaking view morning, noon, and night.

At the resort, you have access to exciting amenities tailor-made for a memorable vacation. A lazy river, lagoon-style pool, fitness center, and hot tub are all available for use. What more could you ask for? Search availability and book soon!

A spring getaway
This condo shines like the Florida sun. Fresh and bright with wonderful amenities, beautifully decorated and a great location. The balcony is perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner with a gorgeous view of the gulf. A very short walk to the beach with all the attractions there. We can’t wait to return next year!

Our favorite place to stay
We love staying here! We had a different room last year but it’s always in the same building. The room we stayed in this time was great and just as it was described. The only problem we had was the air-conditioning wasn’t working when we got there and it took a couple of days to get it fixed. But thankfully, the weather wasn’t too hot. Overall, it was great!

Destin West Gulf Resort
Room was nice. Balcony was very roomy. The walk to the beach was alittle longer to get to than we like. The pool was very nice, it was a long walk over to the lazy river especially on Hot humid days. They had fire alarm issues that woke up guess at wee early in the mornings and fire trucks came each time.total of 3 times. They obviously need to keep up on maintaining their issues. Other than this, it was a good stay.

Needs Improvement
This property was a disappointment. First, it definitely shows its age and needs some work done on it. Examples are a very dingy/dirty couch, rusted curtain rod, and old/dingy drapes. The design layout is also horrible. A block window exists between the bathroom and bedroom. Therefore, anyone using the bathroom early or late shines light into anyone sleeping. This is also true of the balcony curtains. They have a V design and not only don't blackout the sun, actually allow a great deal to enter. Every morning at 6 AM is like a light switch into the entire Condo. The overall property is well situated and has pretty nice amenities including pools and beach access. However, overall, it's pretty run down and shows age. A thorough cleaning and some touch ups would go a long way.
