Boasting an excellent location close to Wisp Ski Resort, the Aquatic Center (boat, kayak, and paddleboard rentals), and thrilling Funland, this three-story home plus loft is the perfect home base to explore and experience everything that McHenry has to offer!

This retreat is all about comfort throughout its three levels plus loft. The main entrance will lead you straight to the second level and main living space of the home. The kitchen will be the first space you'll come across and it's been equipped with all the essentials to fix the most delicious meals and snacks for the entire group. Featuring a full-size fridge, stove, oven, coffee maker, microwave, electric oven, and dishwasher, cooking will definitely be a breeze. Next up is the inviting living room with a set of comfortable sofas in front of a gas fireplace and a large, wall-mounted Smart TV with streaming services. This is the ultimate relaxation spot–nothing beats snuggling up by the fire while streaming your favorite series or movies. Right off the living room is a small balcony with a convenient seating area, creating a great spot to admire the mountain views.

The basement offers a great sleeping space with two comfortable beds. It also comes equipped with a nice seating area, a flatscreen TV, a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo, a laundry room with a washer/dryer, and access to a partially covered patio with an outdoor dining area and firepit. The third level of this mountain retreat boasts two bedrooms on completely opposite sides and two bathrooms. The primary bedroom has its own balcony, a flatscreen TV, and an en-suite bath with a tub/shower combo. The other bedroom has access to a balcony and a flatscreen TV as well. And last, but not least, the upper level offers a great loft area with comfortable seating and flatscreen TV.

This retreat offers a perfect location to relax and enjoy both the lake (with private dock access) and the mountain (across the street from Wisp Mountain). Deep Creek is an amazing family fun location for exploring the outdoors. In the winter, Wisp is amazing for burgeoning skiers and pros alike. You can just walk to the mountain across the street in your boots and start skiing! They have an amazing ski school! A mountain coaster, food, and a bar, and everything you need to enjoy a day skiing. Summer offers access to the lake and boating (many rental companies) along with fabulous mountainside activities like a mountain coaster, white water rafting an obstacle course, and more! Did we mention golf?

Everything is provided (sheets, towels, kitchen utensils, and a bit beyond the basics). This is our home away from home and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do. Come explore the outdoors!

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
