This 5 bedroom home sleeps 16 people and has beautiful views of Lake Champlain and the Green Mountains of Vermont. Offering privacy, this spacious home is located just minutes outside of the The Adirondack Park and is nestled on the edge of 40 acres of forest, which contain several walking trails and scenic views. Located just 10 minutes from Plattsburgh, this property is conveniently situated in the middle of Burlington VT, Lake Placid NY and Montreal Quebec. These are all located within about an hours drive. Whiteface Mountain and Titus Mountain ski resorts and just about 45 minutes away, and Lake Champlain is just about a 10 minute drive. This home would be perfect for family reunions and gathering.

Wonderful!

We have rented this home before and always have a terrific time. We had 13 staying there and there was plenty of room. So homey and comfortable. It has gorgeous views. It was a special experience for our Thanksgiving !!

Great spot for an extended family get together

Nice location and property is well suited to extended family staying there. House was as described in the listing and lots of space for relaxing throughout the house! Great wildlife (loved watching the phoebes feed their young!) Allowed dogs, which was a bonus with lots of room to run around outside. All in all an excellent experience! A+++

Wonderful, huge house

Enormous house, large common spaces, endless deck, endless front yard with tasty apples on the nearby tree, hot tub works great, plenty of hot water for all of us in the showers. Master bedroom has a huge bathroom, other bedrooms are very comfortable, one shared full bathroom among them and another full bathroom by the hot tub. If we come back to the area, we would stay there again!!

Graduation Celebration Weekend

This is a well equipped home with a lot of amenities. The hot-tub, sauna and fire pit were just amazing bonuses. The kitchen is very well stocked with plenty of cooking gear and utensils. The home is spacious and very comfortable. The beds were equally comfortable and the surrounding peaceful. It served our needs perfectly in celebrating graduation weekend from SUNY Plattsburgh.

I have just return from a family & Friend’s weekend celebrating our daughter’s graduation. The house was perfect for the long weekend. Plenty of space for everyone. House well stocked. Wedding Party weekend

This property was even more than we could have hoped for in finding a place to spend our wedding weekend with our bridal party and their dates. There was plenty of space for everyone to sleep comfortably and have privacy. The gorgeous views from the large porch were great for getting ready photos for the groom and groomsmen. Aimee was great to work with and very responsive to all of my messages!

Family Retreat

We had a fantastic stay! The home’s main level has the master and all of the open family areas. Downstairs are four other large bedrooms and another living room and nook area with another futon. There are plenty of bathrooms around. The views were outstanding from every room and the jacuzzi and sauna were so relaxing. If you’re looking to gather lots of family together this is a fantastic fun house with the comfort of being in the country! The owners were very kind and prompt, we couldn’t have had a better time! Thank you for a wonderful family retreat!

Dec 3022 stay

We had a great time at the house in late December. The house was a tight fit for the 14 of us but it worked out well. The hot tub was a nice benefit. We greatly appreciated being able to bring our dogs along. The kitchen was well stocked - the oven was a bit smoky the first time we used it but after that it worked well. The yard was large and worked great for our family snow football game. Thank you very much for sharing your home.

Christmas Vacation 2021

This one of the best properties we have ever rented. It is very spacious and clean. We had 14 people in our party, and it was perfect for us. Aimee and Matt were extremely accommodating hosts. It was very easy to communicate with them and they were close by if we needed anything from towels & pillows to extra pots/pans to firewood. We went on a short hike on their beautiful woodsy property. We would definitely rent this property again. Whiteface is about 40 minutes away and Titus is about 1 hour away,

4 families with 7 kids ages 6 & under - the best

Four families with 7 children ranging from 6 months to 6 years old stayed here for 4 nights. There’s tons of space for everyone, conveniently located to hiking trails and Montreal, beautiful property and stunning mountain and sunrise views from most rooms of the house. Hot tub was a dream. The sauna was a sweet playroom for the kids. lol A dream of a shower (master bedroom). Kitchen is a dream too. The house is stocked, you don’t need to bring anything extra. We had a great time and hope for an opportunity to do it again!

Great place to relax

My large family (both 2 legged and 4) had a very relaxing vacation at this house. It has plenty of room inside and out, plus a variety of things to do (or not do) within a short drive. The sites and views Lake Champlain are amazing. Aimee was extremely helpful with any question that popped up and very quick to respond. Communication was great. The only issue, and it was no one’s fault, we happened to pick a very hot week for our vacation and the house does not have AC, yet. Aimee let us know beforehand, we just didn't except the heat wave. We will definitely consider this house again in the future. Thank you, Aimee, for letting us borrow your home for our family vacation.... Scott, Pauline & the Gang

This property was great, spacious and well stocked with everything needed for cooking, bedding, towels. We had a large group of 18 so we loved that there was plenty of room and things to do. The large lawn and fire pit were great for outdoor games and smores in the evening. It was great to have 4 bathrooms and laundry on site. Lots to do nearby. We visited Ausable chasm and Ausable Point State Park (beautiful beach) and took the ferry to the Vermont Islands. We had a wonderful trip and our host was very helpful throughout the week!

Secluded, yet conveniently located near Plattsburgh, Lake Champlain, and other places of interest, the home, with a large modern kitchen, comfortably provided ample room for our weeklong stay which included my wife and I, two of our adult children and their spouses and our son’s two young children. Every morning, my wife enjoyed a quiet, pre-breakfast hot tub, while I was able to work remotely at the large family style dinning table while watching the sun rise. We had lots of fun playing in the front yard. And as an amateur triathlete, I was able to get my bike and run training sessions in while exploring the area. We have other family members in the area, so we were able to visit with them, including a couple of meals with everyone together here. Some of us also enjoyed day-trips to Burlington and Montreal. Overall, it was the perfect place for us and our active family.

Great Stay

My family (4 families total) stayed for 3 nights while visiting our daughter at college. The house was fantastic. So much room for 4 adult couples and their kids to stay. And it was a quick 15 minute drive into town. The property manager was easy to communicate with as well. We plan to stay there again on our trips to the North Country.
