Great property. Something for everyone! Liked having a separate sleeping quarters, bath, washer and dryer than main house. Snowed on arrival—in June! So hot tub great! Lots of wildlife. Close to fishing.

Great stay

Beautiful home and area. Everything needed was provided. Great kitchen with all needed cookware and utensils supplied. Garage was wonderful for grandkids to play in. Lots of time spent outdoors with volleyball, tether ball and firepit. Would definitely recommend.

Family Yellowstone adventure

Perfect house in every way! Gave the young adult parents so many options. Staying up late to have volleyball and ping pong games! Not to far from the West entrance to Yellowstone. We would leave early to see the vast beauty of Yellowstone and even made It to the majestic Tetons. Bedroom accommodations nice w the bunk room and the large suite over the garage. Lastly, Sonia the owner could not have been any more helpful. My daughter and SIL were traveling cross country for their next military post so this was the perfect spot to take a break before continuing to WA. Thank you for the memories! ❀

Very Pretty Cabin and scenery

With the exception of the long (2miles) very rough gravel road, the house was very nice. Any and all amenities were available, we did have some issues which I will discuss with the Host privately. But over all a great experience. Conveniently located between Yellowstone and Grand Teton, the Mesa Falls are well worth the trip. The biggest concern with the house is conversations in kitchen are amplified the bedrooms above (just FYI) and no closet for the master bedroom. Overall, would stay there again if opportunity developed..

Perfect location for YNP & Tetons

We absolutely loved the Papa Bear Cabin! Our group ranged in ages from 19.5 to 50 and all had a great time. The young adults utilized the volleyball area and ping pong while the older adults relaxed in the fabulous hot tub under the almost full moon. The home has everything you need to be comfortable and if you have little ones they have items for them too! We visited Yellowstone National Park twice, the Tetons, golf in Big Sky, horseback riding with Double P and then again with Eagle View Range (just up the road), rented RTV with Island Park Rentals, ate at Angler’s Inn, got drinks from Soda Co (just up the main road) many times and still had plenty we could do if we stayed longer. We saw four moose in Island Park and a grizzly in YNP. This home is the perfect location! Our host was wonderful! She is quick to respond and so very helpful!! Thank you for making our son’s graduation trip wonderful!

Great location!

The hostess has provided us with the incorrect code to get through the gate. We didn't get a reply to our plea for help until our stay was over. We had to get the code from another resident after being stuck for a while. Hostess was apologetic, but was unavailable, nonetheless.

Cramer family vacation

We had an excellent family trip. We would make 3 small suggestions. we only found one dishcloth for doing dishes, dinner plates would not fit in the dishwasher (need smaller ones) and dishwasher pull outs didn't stay in when open. Also, some issues with windows and screens. we couldn't open them because of no screens and a couple of windows didn't stay open. i hope we left things as we found them, we had a wonderful vacation.

Very enjoyable stay!

Property was just as described so that was great to verify! Some recommendations I have would be to toss out the extra floor mattress and replace it with a new one. It was extremely uncomfortable and the springs could be felt as soon as any pressure was applied. Pillows were a bit flat and the decorative pillows looked like there was dry salvia from previous renters. However, I love that there were tons of extra bedding supplies to be found anywhere and everywhere! Lots of kitchen utensils, cookware, and pantry space to store food. Overall, the stay was a very good time!

Winter Wonderland!

"Luxury Cabin" may be an understatement; we visited the area in December during the arctic blast that hit the US, getting down to -40Âș one night, the area lost power for 2hrs, but the cabin is so well built we never felt cold. Our group had nine adults, and two couples brought their kids, four total, ages 9-14. We never felt cramped, there is plenty of space if you want privacy, and common areas are large enough for everyone to gather. Even though the winter storm hampered some of our plans to ride snowmobiles in the area, we still had a great time playing ping-pong tournaments in the heated garage, board games, and puzzles; it was the perfect chance for friends to catch up. We also made it over to Yellowstone. A few folks had been to Yellowstone before, and all of them said it was like visiting a different park, a "winter wonderland." I can't say enough about how functional and beautiful this cabin is; they even had Christmas lights up! I gave 5 stars on all aspects of this property; I wish I could give more for "communication" Sonia was on top of everything and very responsive at crazy hours of the night. Thank you for a lifetime of memories! We will be back! James

FABULOUS !!

We loved our stay in Island Park and our home away from home. Sonia was great to communicate with us. She made sure we had what we needed and that our questions were answered asap. Before we arrived, she let me know that the hot tub wasn't working quite right. It was the weekend and I assumed that it couldn't be fixed until the following week. I was a little disappointed because we are hot tub people. Much to our delight, someone came out asap and fixed the hot tub. It was great! The service person called before coming to let us know when he would be there which was appreciated. We had adults and kids in our group. Everyone loved the place for different reasons. We loved the quiet but close location, the activities for the kiddos (they were playing nonstop) the Elk Creek ranch so close, the wide open 360 degree views, the fire pit, hot tub (of course) and the wrap around deck and large picnic table. The place was comfortable and had everything we needed. Literally everything we needed! It has plenty of dishes and silverware so that you don't have to worry about constantly washing the dishes It is well stocked with kitchen appliances, pots and pans, blankets, towels. We all agreed that we would definitely come back again!

Large Cabin in Island Park

This was a great day for our family! It has plenty of bedrooms and lots of space! It's only a 15 minute drive from the main highway. The cabin is very well decorated. The bedroom above the garage is great to provide space for another family and the ping pong and foosball tables in the garage was a great space for activity without disrupting the group in the main house. We used the hot tub and the fire pit. Overall I would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic Family Vacation Home

Property was perfect. Property Manager was extremely helpful and responsive. The amenities were excellent and the kitchen was the most well-equipped we have stayed at. The location of the home is a positive and a little bit of a drawback in that the isolation of the home is a real plus, but it is a long drive (but not a hard drive) to the park. The gated community, the views and local wildlife were each a plus. It was a great family-friendly house.

Family Get-Away

The beautiful, roomy property housed our entire family-Grandparents, Children, partners, and grandchildren comfortably. There was so much to keep kids of all ages entertained! We enjoyed paddle-boarding on the beautiful cold) lake. The cabin was well stocked for cooking and baking. Yellowstone was close and easy to get to. The scenery was a spectacular backdrop for family photos. The owners were easy to communicate with and very responsive. We enjoyed our visit 1000%. My highest recommendation for fun family time!

Very inviting and cozy house! We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin has things to do for everyone. Ping pong, volleyball, you can sit in the hot tub, play charades, and my boys loved the suite out over the garage. Nasser the owner was amazing to work with. We had a couple issues that he went out of his way to make sure they got resolved as quickly as possible. I will definitely stay here again.

Family trip to Yellowstone and GTNP

Sonia was a great host, timely communication and the property was exactly as described. There are amenities at the home, it was clean, and functional. The cabin was our home base for a family trip to Yellowstone and GTNP, the drive to the West Yellowstone was about 45 minutes, there was a grocery store about 15 minutes away and a handful of restaurants.

Awesome Yellowstone Vacation

Great trip. West Yellowstone in about 30 Minutes and to the Grand Loop in an hour. Horse stable for trail rides are right down the road. Fishing close by in the lake and nearby rivers. Great home with plenty of room and activities. Really a great spot!

I live in Utah with my active family but love escaping to Island Park. I have been coming to Island Park since I was a child and learned to waterski on the reservoir. I am excited to share this piece of heaven with you!

It is the best place on earth.
