Welcome to this marvelous 2nd story bay front home. This perfect location features stunning views from both upstairs outdoor balcony and from the large outdoor back patio. Flooded with natural light – given the lot's orientation, this 2-bedroom, 1.5-bath, 2nd story, 1000 sq. ft. unit has an open flowing concept in the great room with a fireplace and has amazing views from every room in this home. This spacious living room area has a flat screen TV and a large comfortable seating cluster from which to enjoy it. Door to the outside balcony let you experience easy inside/outside living.

There is also an inside dining table that seats 4, which is right next to a beautiful kitchen. It is easy to satisfy your culinary desires here as it has has all the appliances and amenities you need to create meals and snacks for everyone. Just add the food and have fun enjoying one another and this lovely vacation spot.

This home has 2 upstairs bedrooms - a master king bedroom and a queen guest bedroom - both of them very comfortable with a view of Newport Island. They share a bathroom with a large walk-in shower and each bathroom has it's own vanity sink. And of course, all bed and bathrooms are furnished with a generous supply of premiere linens to ensure you are comfortable at all times.

Additional amenities include general wifi and cable, washer and dryer in shared laundry room, and one garage parking space. The garage spot will only accomodate a sedan.

Newport Island is one of Southern California’s hidden gems, offering a relaxed Island lifestyle while being just a short stroll to the city’s best beaches, surfing, shopping, entertainment, and dining. Come enjoy this little slice of paradise, you will be glad you did! Newport Island is the 'friendly island.' City park on island is right on the bay and has recently been improved with new benches, barbecues and other amenities. Short walk to the beach, shopping and dining.

THINGS WE LOVE ABOUT THIS PROPERTY!

It has a large bay view backyard patio with a barbecue so meals anytime will be a great treat when using this well-designed space.

Views looking out towards the channel are amazing.

THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT THIS PROPERTY:

There is NO street parking in front of this home between May 15 and September 15 of each year. You will receive a citation if you park in front of this house during those dates without a permit from the city of Newport Beach. Please contact a Reservations agent to see is parking pass will be available. Fees may apply. Do not park in the driveay or block the sidewalk or the city will issue a $1,000 fine to you.

No smoking is allowed inside or outside any of our properties – NO EXCEPTIONS!

Property is on Newport Island and will require a 4 night minimum.

Patio area, garage, and laundry room are all shared spaces with the private downstairs tenants. Spa is NOT for guest use, as it belongs to downstairs tenants. Dock and boat are NOT for guest use. Thank you for your understanding.

This home is located in a quiet neighborhood and is only suitable for quieter groups. Our rental agreement includes a no tolerance policy regarding excessive noise, occupancy and/or parties. Deposit forfeitures and/or evictions are strictly enforced. Please make sure you comfortable with these policies before renting with Vacasa Seasonals, Inc.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

5-STAR LOCATION - 1 STAR PROPERTY
This was a half star property in a 5 star location. If you like 1980's furnishings and decor plus construction noise all day x 5 days per week, you'll love the location and the property. There were too many things wrong with this property for me to list them in this review.

Wonderful Stay
We are a family of four with two young kids. It was a very safe place and wonderful neighborhood. The home itself was warm and welcoming but could use some updates. Loved the area and especially Newport Beach. Great vacation and would stay there again.

High charm. Great location. Excellent hospitality.
The waterside location is perfect, complete with boats and a beautiful view. It's a few blocks from the beach, neighborhood parks and shopping. It's quiet, especially at night. The home is charming and comfortable, allowing us to feel completely at ease. We were greeted by VaCasa's Taz Howes. He is an amazing person--so kind, so helpful, and so hospitable! There is garage parking for a small car. The VRBO listing doesn't disclose how small it actually is. We have a 4x4 that could never get in the space. Even a midsize car would be a challenge to get in and out of there, let alone opening the doors. A neighbor parks on the left side, leaving a small space on the right. Weekend street parking is a rare find. Taz Howes gave us a great idea! He suggested parking at the nearby Lido House Hotel. It cost $43 to valet and keep our car there overnight, which we did Saturday and Sunday. Monday and Tuesday, we were fortunate to find street parking and the hosts offer a much appreciated parking pass. Taz also told us about the fine restaurant at the Lido House, called The Mayor's Table. We followed his suggestion and had a wonderful meal. When it was time for us to leave Newport Beach, Taz went out of his way to make sure everything had gone well for us. He even met us to help with our luggage. Taz is a superstar when it comes to service. He's a great asset to the VaCasa brand (formerly Seabreeze Vacation Rentals). We would book with them again because they obviously care enough about their guests and properties to have people like Taz offering genuine hospitality. The property oozes of charm and warmth. The only issue for us was parking and even that became workable. VaCasa does a great job. We would stay at the Bayfront Newport home again.

High charm. Fantastic hospitality.

Awesome place
This property had everything we needed. It was home away from home. Everything you could imagine in the kitchen. The comforter and sheets were extremely comfortable. A king size bed in the master bedroom which was certainly a treat as my husband is 6'4"! Lots of extra amenities like toilet paper shampoo soap etc. And the best part was the fireplace! The location is excellent just a few minutes walk to the beach and restaurants. We absolutely love this place!
