When the snow melts, the Adirondacks reveal an entirely new side of their beauty. Hiking trails wind through lush forests, leading to serene overlooks and waterfalls that feel like hidden treasures. Stuart Mountain, just minutes from my doorstep, is a family favoriteâa hike thatâs accessible yet rewarding. Biking enthusiasts will find no shortage of trails either, from challenging mountain paths to scenic routes that wind through quaint towns and along pristine lakes.

This property is on a quiet street and close to many excellent adventures. Walk to Loon Lake Beach, an 18-minute drive to Gore Mountain and close to dozens of hiking trails. We decorated it in the theme of the Adirondacks. The basement area is a second living area with a cozy couch, leather chair, and second TV. Most people relegate the kids to the basement. In this house, you'll want the adults to be down there as well.
