Great Location!

We loved this space. It was so close to the Bear Lot at Beaver Creek so we were able to walk to the bus daily and never move our car!

The location is unbeatable - across the street from the bus to Beaver Creek and close proximity to downtown Avon. Leaving 3 stars because the furniture (chairs, beds and couch) in this home was incredibly uncomfortable and the kitchen amenities could use a serious upgrade.

Perfect place for stay when skiing all day

Bunk bed in the second room was perfect with our teens and loved having a second bathroom. Pull out couch sleeper was comfy. If you need a place to sleep because you are skiing all day this is a great option. Crock pot, air fryer, coffee pot, tea kettle and even some plastic toddler spoons/forks Perfect for chili supper or spaghetti supper as we did when out all day. Lock can be a bit fuzzy with code being so long, but just take a screen shot and save it and you are good to go Nice paths behind to explore or walk and a decent liquor store across the way for a bottle of wine with supper

Grossly misrepresented

I think to call this unit remodeled is laughable. There are lots of damages throughout the unit cracks peeling paint. The hot water heater doesn’t last very long. There are no rugs in the unit so water gathers everywhere. it was extremely difficult to check into the unit because Google maps does not take you the correct location and the property managers were completely unavailable and absent. I had to flag a tow truck driver to help me find the unit. It was one of the worst rentals I’ve ever had in my life

Eagle River Escape

The home was very nice and clean and a great location but we had trouble with parking. Our check-in documents all said 1 spot (unassigned) but we woke up on Saturday morning with boots on our car and had to pay over $120 to get them removed. We were reimbursed by Vacasa but it put a damper in our day as Saturday was our main skiing day and we were going to drive to Vail in the morning. By the time they got them off, it was mid-morning and Vail was getting so busy that we decided to just stay at Beaver Creek. I then had anxiety almost all weekend that it was going to happen again which wasn’t super fun. Otherwise, a great place.

Disappointed in holiday stay

Vacasa&VRBO should visit to review properties with own staff - not just cleaning team before hosting guests in a property like this. Both collecting fees from owners/guests. over charging for properties/misleading profiles. this property is example. Could have been terrific Positives. property located close to bus to Beaver Creek. Easy short walk even in ski boots. backs to river trail goes for miles. allowed dog. Size of unit good> 2 beds, 2 bath. great for guys weekend/who don't care. Negatives. Property not as presented. basic maintenance items which could be addressed we attention (painting, counter and cabinet repairs, floor repairs, trip to IKEA update furniture/kitchen island, fireplace did not work/get it repaired). Main door looked like someone tried to bash in. small coat rack fell off wall. food under sofa/old rug, unit poorly prepared.. perhaps owners do not care. could charge 2-3x if unit well cared for, styled well. this is what VACASA is paid to help owners w>max ROI. Dents in doors missing handles on closets, cabinets partially falling off, laminate counter in kitchen completely separated from wall, fireplace did not work, no grill/outdoor seating. upkeep/maintenance deferred. decent guest fees pay for upkeep. not caring for/improving property. complex is housing 4staff working at resorts. Ideal location for work not family vaca. Bags of Dog waste left every day by unit next door on stairs. could have been great w attention to details.

A little disappointed

Good location for skiing Beaver Creek but the apartment was small; was planning a family of 4 and a dog but thankfully it was only 2 due to unforeseen circumstances; probably best as it would have been uncomfortable for the full family. Received the wrong Wi-Fi password with check in information and both bathroom sinks and 1 shower drained slow. Vacasa was very responsive to these issues and resolved them the next day. Seems like a new rental so maybe some growing pains. Furniture was not very comfortable.

Do NOT stay here, not worth the hassle. Keep looking!

Major issue: We were never sent proper information that was apparently needed to register our car. Therefore, we woke up to boots on our car and wasted a whole morning that should have been on the mountain. Management expected us to pay and deal with the boot company even though it was their mistake and refused to handle it on their own. They did refund us, but in my opinion if you mess up, you deal with it. Especially when you are offering a service. When they did finally send over the info to register the car, we weren't even able to because there were too many cars already on the account, so we had to revisit it later in the day. Unacceptable from management, Additional Issues: Plumbing was a nightmare. One bathroom rarely flushed, and one shower and one sink would barely drain. Lastly, a bit nitpicky but just added to all the frustration, none of us actually got a good night’s sleep. The beds were very uncomfortable, and the sheets and blanket quality was so terrible you couldn't regulate temperature. Even the 12-year-old didn't sleep well....... It could be a good place eventually, but they clearly have some kinks to work out.
