This is one escape you'll never want to leave! Surrounded by 180-degree views atop Lookout Mountain, this studio-style cabin has everything you need for a relaxing, stress-free vacation while immersing yourself in nature.

As you enter, you'll notice the cozy feel of exposed wood wall and the ease of having everything at your fingertips. A full kitchen with all the amenities is a great way to enjoy meals without having to leave the solitude of your cabin escape.

The living room features a comfortable couch to enjoy movies on the flat-screen TV or simply gaze into the fireplace. The expansive outdoor deck with custom raised deck chairs is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee, and evenings begs for you to soak in the hot tub while watching the colorful sunset. The views are unbelievable, like you can just reach up and touch the clouds!

A Queen size bed and bath with shower make this so much better than a hotel stay. Why not enjoy hiking, mountain views and a barbecue meal to complete your stay? It's just what you need to rest and rejuvenate!

Anniversary Getaway

Perfect place for a getaway.

The Escape in Mentone is the perfect place to visit for a getaway. The view was amazing and the cabin was furnished with everything you need. The area was quiet and peaceful.

Perched on the edge

I'll always remember it. It was great! My only criticism was the restaurant of Mentone (The Wildflower Cafe) is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays... The view from the hot tub is excellent!

Beautiful view from the porch

We enjoyed our stay. Perfect place for two people. The best part of the trip was the view. We watched the sunset each night looking at the mountains. It was amazing.

Amazing!

We needed a weekend getaway, and this was the best choice we could have made. Small and cozy and the view was breathtaking! Plus the hot tub was a great bonus. We will definitely be back!!

The Escape

This was the perfect place for a nice, cozy weekend get away. Perfect size for two. The Mountain View was so beautiful and the hot tub made it twice as nice. I have already recommended to friends.

Spectacular Views

My husband and I plus our labradoodle had a lovely stay at The Escape at Mentone. Sunsets were spectacular from the private deck and the hot tub was a bonus. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. Enjoyed visiting Mentone, Desoto Falls, Desoto State Park and playing golf at McLemore(just a 20 min drive). Perfect space for a long weekend for two.

Lovely even in the fog

It was a weekend of around 50 degrees. Nice weather for a hot tub. The view was covered a lot by fog because of the rain but what we saw was beautiful.. would stay again.

Wonderful little getaway!

Me and my boyfriend booked this cabin for our first year anniversary. The cabin was cute and quaint and the view was amazing! Hot tub was nice and warm location was great all in all we had a wonderful time. Holly was great and kept us in the know of everything she was very helpful, I really appreciated that! I highly recommend this cabin everything about it was amazing, 10 out of 10 I would totally recommend! Can't wait to go back

The view from the cabin was beautiful!

The cabin was perfect! We loved it and would definitely stay again. On my way I could not find the checkin information so I called Holly. She resent it to my email and also texted it as soon as we were off the phone. She has been very responsive with any questions that I have had.

Had a wonderful time and got some snow!!

My husband and I had a wonderful time and we got some snow the first night we arrived. Power went out the next morning, but it didn't stay off very long and the gas logs kept us warm and toasty. This is our second time to visit Mentone and we just love this place.Our cabin was very clean and had the supplies we needed. We enjoyed looking out over the Brow while drinking our coffee. We are hopefully coming back soon.

Enjoyed the view.

We enjoyed the gorgeous view and the quiet. A couple of things need updating such as the love seat and the hot tub didn't put out enough force to feel good on old bones. The cabin was well stocked. It was smaller than I thought. Of course newlyweds wouldn't mind that at all.

AMAZING

We can't recommend this enough! View was amazing! Perfect for two people! Everything was as described. We felt like we were the only two people on earth with all of the peace and quiet. Didn't leave the entire stay! Only recommendation would be to add steps to the hot tub. Big girl here had herself a time getting in and out of it. lol. Can't wait to come back! Our little getaway trip to The Escape

We enjoyed our little getaway at The Escape. The sunsets and views were amazing from the deck. So relaxing and so quiet, it’s just what we needed. We did have an issue with white stuff falling from the ceiling and right onto the bed. We were told it was carpenter bees drilling into the wood from the rafters. They were very nice sent housekeeping to change the bed sheets and that night we moved the bed to the middle of the room. It did not ruin our trip. You can’t always control these Mother Nature issues. The cabin was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pans, we had all we needed for a wonderful time.
