Welcome to Mary's Cozy Cottage, a charming 1945 renovated getaway in the heart of Delray Beach, just two blocks south of Atlantic Avenue and 1.2 miles from the beach. Book this location to explore beautiful Delray Beach's downtown shops, restaurants and bars.

Numerous bars and restaurants are just down the road and there is free transportation to them! Check out the local boutiques and shops!

An electronic keypad on the front door enables quick self check-in. As you enter, you will find a well laid out living room with a 55 inch flat-screen TV, with Netflix subscription. To the left are the two bedrooms and the bathroom. Nice floors and lots of natural lighting are throughout.

There are barstools to enjoy meals on the beautiful quartz countertop. The spacious kitchen offers anything needed to prepare a full meal including a full-size refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, pots, pans, utensils and a coffee/tea corner.

Access to the huge backyard is just through the back door. The large fully-fenced private yard offers an excellent space to spend time outside under the beautiful gazebo . There is also a cornhole set, a propane grill, and outdoor furniture for dining or just relaxing.

Both bedrooms are equipped with flat screen TVs and closet space. Wi Fi internet access and a work space are included. The cottage is fully stocked with all of the essentials, including linens, shampoo, Keurig and tea kettle. Heat, A/C, washer and dryer, ironing board and hair dryer are included as well. Parking on-site in the driveway accommodates two vehicles.
Guest access
Self check-in is easy using the electronic keypad on the door. The driveway accommodates two vehicles. You can use an app to request a golf cart take you to and from the local scene or enjoy the short walk to downtown.

Walking Distance to Downtown

Overall this is a nice place and we enjoyed our stay. We even enjoyed the backyard and cornhole game. The biggest drawback is the neighborhood but it was close to the activities on Atlantic. Although we didn’t use it, the optional free transportation is a plus. The host was very responsive to anything we needed.

House, host, amenities 5*, neighborhood in transition 4*

We were in Delray Beach to see friends and play tennis and attend the Delray Beach Open and Mary's cottage was the perfect size and super clean and had all kinds of amenities as promised (beach towels, beach chairs, kitchen well equipped). The host was super responsive when we had questions before and during our stay. The cottage is very conveniently located to walk to the Delray Beach Open and one could also walk to Atlantic Avenue's more busy restaurant strip (and avoid dealing with parking). And while a bit far (but possible) to walk (1.5 miles) the beach was easy to get to and find parking at the beginning of the day and end of the day. The only reason I'm giving the cottage a 4* review is that for three women traveling together, none of us felt safe walking back from Atlantic Avenue restaurants or the Delray Beach Open at night. During the day it felt totally fine. But once it got dark, only the first block from Atlantic Avenue toward the cottage is well lit, after that the next 1.5 blocks are poorly lit and there are empty lots next to and across from the house and a boarded up house across the street. If we were just driving everywhere day and night I don't think this would have been an issue, but since we're walkers it did influence how we felt about the cottage.

A perfect escape

Mary's Cottage was perfect. It is well appointed and very clean. Having the backyard to spend time with family was perfect. The neighborhood is very quiet and the people are very friendly. Chris was quick to respond to my messages and he took great care of us. I would definitely go back. Highly recommend!!

Loved our stay!

The house and yard were perfect for our family of 4 for our ten-day stay. Kids stayed in bedroom with two twin beds. Wife and I stayed on the queen. There were a few minor issues (leak under kitchen sink, door keypad not working one morning), and Chris was very quick to respond, come on over, and fix the issues, and even gave us a Starbucks gift card for the hassle. Great owner. Great rental. We'd love to come back! Thank you!

Mary’s Cottage was perfect

Cottage was a perfect place for us to cook unwind and connect while moving our daughter into her new apartment in Del Ray! Beautifully designed and decorated space, The owners thought of everything from welcome beverages, plenty or towels and a great backyard space for my little one to get his wiggles out while we sat and relaxed. Location was great for both beach and shopping access!

Peaceful place

Not all trips are for pleasure - this trip was necessary for medical reasons, but the quiet, comfortable house was perfect for recovery. Close to everything we needed, loved hearing the roosters in the morning. Peaceful and convenient.

Renovated Immaculate Property Near Beach

The property was recently renovated and immaculate with a beautiful fenced in backyard with a mango tree! We enjoyed picking fresh mango for breakfast and grillling out for dinner. The property is a short drive to shopping, restaurants and the beach.

Excellent cottage and service

We really enjoyed this fully appointed, modern and clean cottage. Very comfortable with two bedrooms, kitchen and living room to kick back in. Short walk to the Atlantic Avenue / Swinton street dining and entertainment.

Cute place with lots of extras

We only stayed a short time, but it was a great stay! We especially loved all the extra amenities that the host provided including snacks, coffee, and bottled water. Although we didn’t use them, we were also surprised to see the host providing many beach items, such as a cooler, beach, chairs, and towels. The private backyard was also a plus that we enjoyed in the morning before setting out for the day. Chris, the host, was very communicative about checking in and check it out. We didn’t need to contact him for anything else during our stay as everything was provided for and went smoothly. We definitely recommend this place for small families.

Terrific spot for family.

Nice, newly renovated property just off DelRay strip. Nice backyard with cabana and putting green. Easy parking for 2 cars. Very clean an modern, well stocked with kitchen items and BBQ. Chris was great to deal with and very helpful on dates. Highly recommend.

Attractive and Comfortable

We had a relaxing time at this comfortable house. Chris was very helpful. Appreciated welcoming atmosphere, snacks, etc. Enjoyed the gazebo and the privacy of the back yard. We would do it again.

It was perfect for our anniversary trip. We enjoyed the cleanliness of the home, the smallest of details for guests were amazing, something you do not find very often in vacation rentals. Closeness to everything with an added security of the alarm system that was easy to use. We slept great, we made good use of the kitchen and even hung out in the backyard listening to the birds. The owners were very helpful and we would come back and stay here again. We had a car rental so we got around a lot easier than just walking. There is a free shuttle service in the area from 11 AM-11 PM but we never put it to use. Less than a mile from restaurants, this was such a great location and beautiful home.

Delray Cottage

We had a short but really nice stay at the cottage! The house and yard were very clean, the perfect size for our family of four. It has every convenience you might need while on vacation. The neighborhood is in transition, but it’s in a convenient location near downtown Delray and the beach. Thanks for a great stay!

Sweet Cottage

Beautifully done cottage with many super-nice features, like the bathroom shower and pretty kitchen. Well-appointed with many high-quality useful items, like the iron, beach bag, hair dryer, alarm clocks, large TVs and good wi-fi. The outdoor gazebo and private yard were wonderful for relaxing. The neighborhood is in transition; yet, this location was quiet and very close to downtown Delray as well near just about anything you need.

Great home

Chris’s home was very welcoming and homey! Great backyard and love the patio out back. Chris got back to me quickly with any questions I had and even allowed us to check in early. The home is about a 25-30min walk to the beach which was doable for us. Would definitely recommend this cute cottage!
