Why was this such a good price?
The apartment was very nice and just like the pictures. A few odd things ... no bedside lamp for reading; not plumbed for hot water at the kitchen sink or the bathroom basin for shaving; no mirror in the shower for shaving; a bathroom mirror very dark due to a non-functional light above; a description for use of the shower that was incomplete ... you would have to see it to understand. Real complaints? The host uses artificial intelligence bots to communicate so when you ask a bit of a complicated question, you get the same useless answer over and over, no matter how you point out the answers are insufficient.
Finally, why is the price so low? The apartment is located on the 11th floor of a very busy artery of Bogota, Carrera 7 and in an excellent location surrounded by universities and good restaurants. So what's the problem? First, the incredibly loud traffic noise at all hours of the day and night. The windows are so thin that you constantly think you have left them open. Which you haven't. Even lowering the thick blinds makes no difference. Constant traffic, buses and heavy duty trucks sounding like they are driving right by your pillow. Second, internal construction in the building with constant banging all day long. Neither of these delightful things was noted in the description. And I have a question for you ... is it perfectly normal not to be met by the Host? Even when you are asking over and over for help?
