New listing! Cozy log cabin on 1 acre with garden and orchard near historic Franklin village. Great for families, artists and people looking to slow down. A rocky stream to explore and lot of wildlife to see. Nearby hiking, biking, swimming, fishing and golf. Lovely sunsets on the porch to share. Ideal for theater goers or baseball visitors to All Star Village. Oneonta and the Baseball Hall of Fame is 20/30 min.away. The 3rd BR is through the 2nd BR. Sleeps 6. Fireplace/woodstove not in use. No A/C - only fans. NO hunting allowed.

Please do not:
- wear shoes inside
- burn candles
- make noise after 10pm
- do not cross the creek
- use the fireplace and wood stove

Please do:
- turn off lights when you leave
- close windows and lock the door when you leave
- help yourself to vegetables, berries and fruit from the garden
- use additional fridge/freezer in the cellar
- use the fans, no A/C

Guest access

Upon departure:
1. Please take off the bed linen.
2. Please take out all garbage and place in garbage cans outside next to the mailbox.
3. Please take all the food you brought back with you.
4. Please leave the cabin broom swept and tidy.
5. Please clean all dish/ serve/ flat ware used.
6. No events or noise after 10pm.
7. Place key back in lockbox

If some of the departure rules are not followed, a percentage of the deposit will be deducted for time needed to do the work not accomplished.

Other things to note:
- Please note the low ceiling in the cellar.

Peaceful and Restorative

Just a few minutes away from some of the area's key destinations is a magical "cabin" in the woods. Marina is an incredible host of an incredible property. Great kitchen, comfy beds and well-appointed. So happy I stayed here!

A quiet, quaint space

Beautiful property! Very quaint and rustic❤️ we enjoyed the stillness of this space, and enjoyed the escape while we were there. We do quite a bit of running and being out while we are in the area due to visiting family and this property was the perfect place to relax after the long day and so peaceful to wake up to in the morning! Very comfortable!

Cooperstown Visit

This house is a beautiful, quaint log cabin up in the mountains. It was a peaceful & relaxing stay. Loved waking up to the sounds of nature with a cup of coffee on the front porch. It is located approx 40 mins away from Cooperstown Dreams Park.

Our stay was cancelled 2 hours before check in on the day of check in. I had booked this cabin in December, 6 months before we were going. It was some personal issues that were going on with the host. She was nice enough to offer help but it was a horrible thing to happen. Everything was already booked up in that area for the Cooperstown baseball tournament, which is why we were there. So we got a hotel in Oneonta. It wasn’t the best. So this wasn’t ideal. Just please make sure that if you plan to stay here that her personal issues will not interfere with your booking. That’s all I can say.

Gorgeous Cabin

We absolutely loved our time. the cabin is beautiful and cosy. Close to Oneonta and Cooperstown. We had a wonderdul time and Marina was a hreat host. There's an amazing brunch spot juat 3-4 mins away called the Tulip and the rose... i recommend to bring bottled water to your stay... Id dedinitely go back

We were at AllStar Village when not at the cabin. Weather could have been better, but we were very pleased with our stay.
