Outstanding. Better than expected. Perfect location.

Everything has been updated and remodeled - really nicely. You can not get closer to the beach and being on the third floor gives you incredible views of everything. You actually enter the building on the second floor so its only one easy flight of stair or an elevator ride up. The balcony is huge (bigger than the pictures make it seem) and perfect for watching whales go by. The location is nicely situated between Cabo and San Jose. We rented a car which was helpful and parking is very close to the unit. We didn't pay the daily resort fee so we didn't use the gym or spa. The owner was very easy to deal with and very responsive. We highly recommend the property. Cabo in general is taking Covid very seriously and we felt safe everywhere we went. I also left a huge bottle of excellent tequila for the next guests.

Beautiful Condo

This property was even better than the photos, the views from every room of the ocean are stunning. Everything you could want is in the condo and it’s spacious so much more than a hotel. You go to sleep and wake up with the sound and the view of the beautiful Sea of Cortez. There were fabulous eateries nearby which were great for breakfast and dinner in El Merkado and downtown San Jose. We would definitely come back here.

We loved this place. So often the photos look good but it fails to live up. Not Marty's place. Even the towels and bed linen were top quality. And nothing beats watching whales breach on your balcony. A fabulous place. Thank you.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE

THE PROPERTY IS EXCEPTIONALLY WELL KEPT, COMFORTABLE AND ON THE BEACH WITH A SURROUNDING BALCONY. THE LOCATION IS RELATIVELY PRIVATE AND APPROXIMATELY HALF-WAY BETWEEN CABO SAN LUCAS AND SAN JOSE DEL CABO. A RENTAL CAR WAS A PLUS AND GAVE US INDEPENDENCE TO VISIT TO EITHER CITY WHEN WE WANTED TO GO OUT. THE GROUNDS OF THE HOTEL/CONDO COMPLEX ARE IMPECCABLE AND SECURE -- LOVELY POOLS, RESTAURANTS, TENNIS COURTS, SPA AND HEALTH CLUB. FINALLY, THE OWNER OF THE CONDO AND LOCAL MANAGING AGENT ARE BOTH PROMPT AND VERY RESPONSIVE TO ANY QUESTIONS OR ISSUES YOU MAY HAVE. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! A.J. BENNETT

Unbeatable Cabo San Lucas Getaway

This rental is an unbeatable Cabo San Lucas getaway. First of all, the owners are extremely helpful and quick to answer any questions. Secondly, the condo is incredible and a perfect setting for vacation to San Jose Del Cabo! It is a sleek modern 2 bed/2 bath condo between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose. The deck is extremely spacious with an incredible view - it really cant be beat. Its the most private deck in the entire complex, you almost feel like you are on your own private beach. Everything in the condo is new and state of the art. It has a brand new modern kitchen which helps to offset the need to eat out 3 meals a day. There is a washer/dryer that helps keep the packing to a minimum. The grounds at Casa Del Mar are beautiful and it offers a great deal of comfort and space with wonderful amenities - pools, tennis, gym, spa, etc. We spent lots of time at the pool which has a bar and a full restaurant. The condo is right on the beach so much of our downtime was spent lounging on the cabanas on the sand. Its a very tranquil beach with some of the best sunsets I've seen. The owners provide great suggestions for places to visit when venturing into Cabo or San Jose. Both locations are easy to access. A rental car is a smart idea and gives you great flexibility. Parking is easy and the resort staff make coming and going painless. The staff can also coordinate taxis very easily for you. We could not have been happier with our accommodations and our hosts. We plan to get back to this amazing condo at Casa del Mar as often as we are able.

BEYOND FABULOUS CONDO!!!

I can not even recall how many times the words "WOW!" or "this is awesome!" came out of our mouths when we arrived at this condo! The listing description is definitely accurate. The photos accurately reflect the condo's appearance, although I would say it does not even do it justice. This place was absolutely beautiful and immaculate... very clean, very nicely decorated and well appointed, and very well maintained. It had everything we needed and more, including beach towels, beach bag, robes, dishes, appliances... just about everything! And the linens and bedding were top quality. We typically do not want to spend a lot of time inside our hotel/condo/etc when on vacation; however, this condo was so fabulous that we enjoyed every minute of our stay, and at times even found ourselves wanting to be there as opposed to going out. We did a lot of relaxing on the balcony, taking in the gorgeous ocean views. We literally opened our eyes in the early morning hours to see the sun coming up over the horizon, right from our bed... stunning! In the evening, the best place to watch the beautiful sunset was in the comfy lounge chairs on our balcony. We made coffee in the morning, drinks before dinner, and even cooked dinner there one night. We also spent plenty of time around the property... The beach right in front of the condo was complete with lounge chairs, little tables, and umbrellas. The pool and hot tub were just around the corner of our building and had plenty of seating and great ocean views. There were also really good bars and restaurants on the property. We had dinner right on the beach our first night there with delicious food, friendly service, and a fire behind us and the ocean right in front of us. Of course we also got out to enjoy the areas of Cabo San Lucas and Los Cabos. Another great feature of this condo was the location and how quick and easy it was to get to either town and the airport. One of our favorite local restaurants was Ici & Asada (spelling?) for tacos, right on the main hwy next to a go-cart track, almost to Cabo. Simple, inexpensive, fresh, clean, and fabulous! Another favorite is Seven Seas, on the main hwy towards Los Cabos - great seafood dinner but I especially love breakfast there, and it overlooks the beach and ocean! Also try Edith's in Cabo for a nice Mexican dinner! We don't normally spend this much on accommodations but it was WELL worth it for this special occasion! I would absolutely recommend this property!!

Views, views and more views

What a wonderful place. Thoroughly enjoyed the beachfront location, the condo had everything imaginable. And the views were unbelievable. Views from the Master Bedroom, Views from the 2nd bedroom, views from the living room, unbelievable views from the very large deck and even incredible views from the bathroom. Thanks for a great stay. Nice 5 day trip with my husband and daughter. Delightful!

amazing week

I almost hate to admit it to the world but this is the best vacation rental I have stayed in! What can I say - the views, oh my. The condo is so well equip you don't need to go anywhere. love the umbrella and towels so you can just walk out onto the beach and sit in one of the chairs by the ocean and your day is made! The furnishings are beautiful and can't even start about the master bath and shower! All glass - you can sit on the toilet and watch what's going on down on the beach!! Haha! Casa del Mar is a beautiful hotel and the food and drinks are amazing! The club on the beach serves dinner every night in the sand around a firepit! Beautiful! We will go again for sure!

Excellent, clean, quiet and just remodeled

Picture perfect condition and location met description perfectly, well worth the $$$ spent. It is hard to find such value at the high end of rental and this was it. I hope I get to go back there again. Very clean and the beach is in front of the condo not adjacent , it is right there. Thanks for the wonderful experience.

A very special spot in Cabo, from the furnishings to the spectacular ocean view. This condo captures the ultimate Baja vacation with its beautiful beach and wonderful pools (one of which is right on the beach). Listen to the surf while you sleep, hang out on the deck with your favorite beverage and a good book, watch the whales, take a long beach walk...

Casa Del Mar is a calming...

Casa Del Mar is a calming Cabo escape, and this particular condominium only adds to the experience. Beautifully remodeled and perfectly appointed, nothing has been spared in this personable and inviting ocean front villa. The extremely generous outdoor living area enhances the ocean views, sunrises and sunsets. Additionally, Casa Del Mar is unbelievably well kept and maintained; the grounds are immaculate. Restaurant in the resort adds to the convenience and serves very good food. The worst part of your stay will be having to leave. Enjoy.

If you are looking for th...

If you are looking for the perfect spot to relax and enjoy an amazing view from the spacious wrap around veranda, a beautifully appointed residence and an amazing, long beach to walk and swim from, the Mehl's condo is the place to do it. The resort is also beautifully maintained and has a very high level of service to it's guests. There are several pools but my favorite is the quieter one down on the beach and there are always plenty of lounge chairs and shade available along with the convenience of a swim up bar. I enjoy being out a little ways from town and halfway between the charming, smaller town of San Jose Del Cabo and the livlier town of Cabo San Lucas. The condo itself has lovely bedding, towels and a well appointed kitchen if you want to cook in and just enjoy the hypnotic ocean sounds and views. This is definitely our favorite place to stay when visiting Cabo!!!!

We first stayed at this amazing condo at Casa del Mar 11 years ago and keep coming back, sometimes with family and sometimes just the 2 of us; the gorgeous private beach on the beautiful Sea of Cortez is just a few footsteps away and embraces you as you sit on the wonderful wrap-around view veranda. Casa del Mar and the condo itself are world class and offer the intimate luxury of a 5 Star boutique get-away. No detail is missed. The location in the center of the Baja corridor is perfect with access to everything Cabo has to offer from the public beaches, shops, and fun restaurants and water sports at Land's End to the charm of San Jose del Cabo just north with its "Old Mexico" village streets, cafes, and boutiques and beaches. The condo owners and resort staff are superb to deal with and helpful with suggestions on everything from the great places to eat, shop, water excursions, where to buy groceries, you name it. Whatever you have heard or read about Casa del Mar and this very special condo is true except for one thing; once you arrive, it will surpass every expectation you could imagine and sweep you off your feet. You'll be planning your next visit long before you complete the first one!

This condo is fabulous. It has the view, the beach is close, the hotel is right next door for restaurants, pools and a swim-up bar. It's truly fabulous. Very safe and secure.
