Olen melkein 100 vuoden ajan istunut Morro Bayn veden ÀÀrellĂ€. Olen romanttinen vieraspaikka ystĂ€ville
 luonnon, taiteen, ajattelun, kirjojen, viinin, seikkailun, löytön, yksinĂ€isyyden ja sielun ystĂ€ville, mutta erityisesti niille, jotka rakastavat ja rakastavat vaalia itseÀÀn.

Puhelimia, hÀlyttÀviÀ televisioita, liikenteen ÀÀniÀ tai muuta tunkeutumista ei ole. Sen sijaan tarjoan sinulle harvinaisen mahdollisuuden uppoutua luontoon ja hiljaiseksi. Voin olla vain pieni rantalomökki, mutta kÀy lÀpi violetti sisÀÀnkirjautumiseni ja sinut toivottaa sinut tervetulleeksi eklektinen sekoitus taidetta ja antiikkia, jonka perheeni on kerÀnnyt yli kolme sukupolvea ja rakastavasti esitelty luomaan romanttisen ja intiimin ympÀristön, joka inspiroi sinua aikana oleskelunne.

Beautify views

Our stay was excellent! We spent a lot time on the back porch enjoying the magnificent view and all the wildlife. The cottage itself was immaculate and had everything we wanted for taking care of ourselves, for cooking and enjoying. We will likely be returning.

Peaceful beauty

Pandora is an amazing host, and everything about the cottage was perfect. It was spotless, and the kitchen has everything you need to make great meals. The views of the bay are really lovely

Perfect setting, perfect accommodations

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary in the Green Cottage and could not have asked for a nicer spot. The setting outside from the deck could not be more peaceful with numerous shore birds, a great view of Morro Rock, and the sounds of the breakers from the Ocean. Sunrises and sunsets are spectacular. The cottage is clean and comfortable, the fridge is stocked with fresh coffee, and the entire central coast is a short drive away. We will be staying here again!

Magical Memories

Upon arrival at the Green Cottage we were immediately struck by the beauty and quiet of this unique bayview retreat. And the peaceful ambiance underscored our week of exploration and repose in the area. The cottage is artfully decorated and the kitchen boasts all the cookware and dishes you may need to prepare your snacks and meals. Indoor and outdoor seating is comfortable and we enjoyed restful nights of relaxing sleep. The area beyond the cottage is rich with all kinds of offerings from outdoor adventures to fine dining. Don’t think twice about booking your vacation here—you will have no regrets!

Just "Beachin"!

The "Green House" is the perfect hideaway for two! Parked at the southern end of Morro Bay, it was so quiet and restful. Pandora spoiled us while we were there, to the point it was difficult to drive back home. The nicely kept up little home has a lot of beach charm to it, so it was perfect for our needs. We enjoyed our morning/afternoon coffee on the deck, watching the wacky pelicans dive bombing for fish. And with so many restaurants to choose from, we relied on her spot on recommendations and enjoyed many good meals. It was tonic for our weary souls!

A Haven for Creativity

I come to the Green Cottage for two weeks each year. It is my personal writer's retreat; a place of solitude and beauty where inspiration comes easily. I bask in the quiet, take in the scenery, and allow my hectic life to fall away. I love to walk to the nearby estuary, and into Baywood Park for morning coffee and house-baked scones at the Bayback Cafe. The cottage is comfortable, thoughtfully appointed, and has all the amenities I could ask for. The owners provide local guide books and suggestions for restaurants and nearby excursions. It is my piece of heaven by the sea!

A Favorite on Central Coast

We love the Green Cottage; and, it's beautiful location on the Morro Bay estuary. The cottage is everything we need to relax and escape a bit from our hectic schedules. It is beautifully maintained and decorated. The kitchen is a dream with an amazing view, the back deck looking out to Morro rock is absolutely one of my favorite spots on earth. This location is perfect as we can get to the big city of SLO in about 15 minutes, wineries in less than 30 minutes and the towns of Morro Bay, Cambria & Cayucos are nearby as well. Perfect, perfect location to enjoy Central Coast. The Green Cottage is a wonderful two person getaway, but there is also a small, comfortable bedroom for a third person. Works well for a small family.

Serene but endless possibilities

Can’t say enough good things about the Green Cottage. Pandora was great to work with too! It was so quiet yet so many adventures within close proximity awaits all who stay in this warm and inviting cottage. Clean, very well stocked and fresh flowers too! Hiking trails, kayaking, shopping, or sitting on the deck watching the tide and sunsets you will never lack for something to do or hold your interest. The cottage is filled with an eclectic array of local and international collections. Surrounding area complements the artistic endeavors of the owner. Wish we had been able to stay longer and hope our travels take us back to the little Green Cottage on Morro Bay.

A Writer's Haven

I recently spent a week curled up at the Green Cottage writing my first book. This space is perfection in every way; a quiet haven for refection where creativity can bloom. I spent my mornings on the deck overlooking Morro Bay with flocks of pelicans and the occasional kayaker as my only companions. There is attention to detail in the artful cottage decor, and beauty in every direction. The cottage is a short stroll to a nearby estuary, and 10 minutes driving distance to Montano de Oro state park with ocean views and lots of hiking trails. But in the end I found little reason to leave the comfort of my little home-away-from-home by the bay. A great place to recharge and fill your soul!

Relaxing and romantic!

When my boyfriend and I opened the door to the cottage, we both had huge smiles on our faces. We couldn't believe how darling the cottage was. We explored every nook in the place and kept saying to each other, "Oh, you have to see this!" There's so much charm and character in this cottage, and it's clear how much love and care the owner and caretaker put into this place. We were pleasantly surprised that every plant and flower was real. The bouquet of beautiful flowers that greeted us when we walked in smelled heavenly. We loved the location, especially hearing the sound of the gentle waves in the evening and then seeing our "neighbors" in the morning (the pelicans, sandpipers, egrets, etc.). I kept going out to the back balcony to read and just enjoy the view. The drives to both Pismo Beach (to the south) and Morro Bay (to the north) are fairly short and also beautiful. We can't wait to visit again. My boyfriend, who usually stays in hotels for vacations, said, "The cottage is better than any hotel" and I agree with him. Thank you!

A Perfect Refuge for Reflection and Refreshment

Peaceful Beauty

We stayed for three days for our Son's graduation from Cal Poly. We wanted something quiet away from the crazy in San Luis Obispo at graduation. What we found was perfect. Easy drive to campus (10 minutes) in and out. The beauty of the bay and tidal waters. The wildlife, birds and deer were just some of the highlights. Tons of walking trails including the Elfin forest. Places to eat, farmers markets, local artist. ocean breeze at night, you could leave the windows open and there was no sounds, so quiet. Such a cute sanctuary, host very attentive to every need and the home had everything. We BBQ and ate on the deck at night. Our son came out one night and brought take out and we had an amazing quiet visit. Our son had seen the house many times from his paddle board adventures in the area. This is our second graduate from Cal Poly and we really wish we had found this home many years ago. We will be back. Thank you for all the care and thought you put into the home. We loved all the artwork, items from travel around the world and your family antiques.

So Lovely!

We celebrated our 30 anniversary at the green cottage! And it was spectacular! The property itself was amazing. The views were fantastic, but I think the thing that was most important during our was the attention and support we received from our hosts. They went above and beyond the call of duty. We will be back.

Amazing property right on the edge of high tide. If you're interested in birds, it's hard to imagine a better place to observe than the deck of this beautiful cottage.The tidal flats change constantly as does the wildlife population. So fascinating.The cottage itself has so many thoughtful touches - it's clear this is a labor of love for the owner.10/10 would stay again.

Total Relaxation

The cottage is a real gem. We spent 4 days there and this was the first location ever that I did not want to leave. Pandora is amazing and began informing us about the area and events long before our arrival. Absolutely clean and comfortable. The cottage is just as it appears on the website but the experience of staying there was more than we had imagined, I can't wait to go back! I highly recommend for anyone looking for some peace, natural beauty and a place to detox from the rest of the world.

The Cottage has been in our family for two generations. We have lived on the bay for almost four decades and love it, and love to share it with others. The Cottage was originally built to shelter the duck hunters and fishermen who were attracted here, but it was soon bought in the 1950's by our parents and was used as a residence while they built their dream home next door. The Cottage has been our family's guesthouse since then and we've recently made it available as a vacation rental. The charm as a family retreat has been retained through the complete refurbishing received in 2009. We have designed the Cottage to provide our guests with the perfect opportunity to immerse themselves in the Central Coast experience. We are not the Hyatt (on purpose!) -- just the opposite. We provide a unique EXPERIENCE to our guests. We want them to feel they are staying in their favorite aunt's beach cottage while she is away sailing through the South Seas, and she left them the keys to her special place and her prized possessions. What our guests won't find here are ringing phones, blaring TV or fax machines, or lists of rules permanently affixed to the walls -- all by design. We we do provide wireless internet service and a 38' HDTV for watching DVDs, plus over 400 DVDs to choose from. We want the cottage to provide guests with the ability to ESCAPE the fast-paced world. We've tried to provide everything we can think of to make our guests feel pampered and comfortable. And if ever they need anything, we are happy to make sure they have it within minutes.
