Harmony is perfectly situated within minutes to attractions for the entire family such as Zip Line Canopy Tours, Blue Ridge Paintball, Horseback Riding at either Adventures of Shadow Lane or Cowgirl Up Stables, wine tours at Bear Claw Vineyards, Mercier Orchards for some great apple pies, and so much more. Visit nearby towns of McCaysville (11 miles away) and Ellijay (15 miles away). Explore the nearby Benton MacKaye Trailhead on USFS 64 by driving a short distance 13 miles away from Harmony. Honest review of our Cabin Experience
Overall the experience and cabin was fine. Pros were privacy, there are cabins you can see but they aren’t close at all. The fire pit was nice to sit around (be cautious of the swing it didn’t seems stable) Cons: we rented this cabin mainly for the hot tub, when we got there it was 84 degrees. We did reach out to owners and they quickly told us how to turn it up. However it took 4 hours to get warm enough for us to get in, which by this time we were going to bed. It was a quick weekend trip (2 nights) so I was extremely bummed that the 1st night was wasted. Other notes appliances are old and worn.. And the outside fairy lights only cover 1/2 the porch, we never could figure out how to get them on and didn’t want to bother the homeowners again.

Nice and cozy but needs a little maintenance
Cabin was clean and well furnished. Plenty of towels and kitchen stocked if you want to cook. View is beautiful and the kids loved the amenities. Small maintenance issues need to be addressed - upstairs bathroom door will not latch so that’s fun. And the downstairs bathroom shower is missing a knob so you can’t actually shower in there. And the fire pit on the deck is prohibited from use (apparently per the insurance company). Lastly the driveway is no joke. If you do not have an SUV or truck, you will likely be walking up. Owners were great, super responsive to our questions, check in was easy, directions were perfectly clear.

We were very happy with our stay. The host of the cabin was very thoughtful in the amenities provided - extra trash bags, hand soap, pop corn, dishwasher liquid soap. There were plenty of cookware, eating utensils, toilet paper. The cabin clean upon arrival with easy check-in. Everything was laid out and easy to find. Directions to the cabin were easy to follow.

Regrettable
The cabin itself was ok. But don’t stay here unless you have a 4 wheel drive. Driveway is almost impassable. The cabin was dirty. Trash on floors and under the beds. One of the bathrooms has a bad leak so we could only use one of the 2. Which was not good either because there was mold on the shower curtain. There was also trash all in the yard around the trash cans. The grill was dirty and unusable. We had been planning this trip for several months and very disappointed with all of the issues.

Nearby local attractions within short driving distance for the entire family including Zip Line Canopy Tours, Blue Ridge Paintball, Horseback Riding at either Adventures of Shadow Lane or Cowgirl Up Stables, wine tours at Bear Claw Vineyards, and so much more. And to top it off, you will be only 6.5 miles to all the Blue Ridge Downtown attractions and restaurants.

For those seeking outdoor hiking adventure, you can connect with the Benton MacKaye Trailhead on USFS 64 by driving a short distance 13 miles away from Harmony. Of course, there are so many local spots and attractions to choose from when you visit Blue Ridge, Georgia. And Harmony is perfectly situated to venture out and explore and make those wonderful memories with family and friends.
