Gorgeous House
The house was absolutely gorgeous. We overall were very happy with the house. We did have some issues and the property manager was available whenever we needed him.
Negatives:
1) The grill was not able to be used. It was not clean and there must of been some mechanical problem with it.
2) The umbrella on the lower deck was not workable.
3) Even though the house had kayak's and paddle boards the ladder was on the wrong side of the dock and it was very hard to get in.
4) According to Vrbo check in was at 4:00 pm. When we got there, the cleaning lady was still there and had to wait 15 minutes to get into the house. Also on Vrbo, it stated that check-out was 11:00 am. The cleaning lady showed up at 10:00 am. When mention to the cleaning lady and the property manager they told me it was 10 am. There seems to be a miscommunication between Vrbo and the property manager that should be fixed.
5) A lot of stairs and no downstairs bathroom.
Positive:
1) Bedrooms had a lot of closet space, comfortable beds, beautiful view and lots of sunlight.
2) Kitchen/Family Room: had lots of closet space, comfortable sitting area and lots of sunlight.
3) Decks; beautiful view overlooking the canal.
4) A lot of added amenities: bikes, beach carrier (what a life saver that was), kayaks, paddle boards, and outdoor shower.
5) Great for a family and lots of space for lots of people.
I would recommend this rental.
