Lovely family escape
What a great getaway we had at Sunrise Chalet! The house was perfect for our family of six, with ample gathering space. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed and more, the neighborhood was peaceful, and the lake view was wonderful. My elderly parents appreciated the not-too-steep walk down to the water's edge, the main floor master suite, and the easy step into the front door. WiFi handled Zoom calls and multiple streaming devices. The listing description and photos are accurate and thorough. A major plus of renting here is the host. Besides creating a comfortable experience with many thoughtful touches, Jill delivers excellent communication from booking through the stay itself. She responded immediately to minor issues that we brought to her attention, and gave us a heads up about some tree work scheduled for an adjacent property. All in all, a terrific stay at the lake!

Vacation that felt like home!
The perfect relaxing getaway! The property was clean, set up nicely & beautiful! Communication with the property owner was amazing. Atmosphere was wonderful. I felt like I was staying at a family members home. I recommend 10/10!

Fantastic Lake Trip
Our stay at the Sunrise Chalet was truly fantastic! The house is wonderfully situated right by the lake, offering breathtaking views that left us in awe. The owners went above and beyond to ensure that our family's vacation was completely stress-free. We're no strangers to spending our summers by the lake for a week, but this house has set a new standard - it's the best we've experienced so far! Throughout our stay, Jill was incredibly responsive, promptly addressing any questions or concerns that arose. Minor issues were handled with efficiency. We're already looking forward to returning in the future.

Family vacation in the Poconos
We all had a wonderful time and didn't want to leave. The Sunrise Chalet is beautiful with gorgeous views of the lake...the perfect location. We enjoyed kayaking, paddleboarding, and lounging on our 5 seater inflatable by the dock. The kids liked fishing off the rocks and dock, and were so excited when they caught the fish!! We sat around the campfire in the evening and made smores while enjoying the lake. The lake house is well stocked with essentials. Jill is the best! She was so helpful with any questions we had and was so accommodating. We visited the arcade, the tiki bar, beach, and swimming area at the Hideout. Took a boat tour at Lake Wallenpaupack and learned about the history of the area. Visited several waterfalls, did some shopping, and ate at some nice restaurants. Overall, a very fun time for all of us. Would love to return one day!

Another Fantastic Trip to Roaming Woods Lake
This is our second time staying in the Hideout on Roaming Woods Lake. We had a fantastic time. The house was great...tons of amenities to keep the kids entertained. We all loved using the kayaks and the kids swam in the lake for hours and hours. The house had everything we needed for a great family trip. We will be back.
