The Space:
Merry Mermaid is located on North Cape San Blas in the San Dunes community. This home is on the first road behind the gulf front homes. This community includes a pool, and easy access boardwalk to sugar sand beaches and clear Gulf water.


On the ground floor is a large carport with a propane grill and outside shower. As you enter the house, a stackable washer and dryer is located inside the foyer to get your towels ready for another day at the beach.


Ascending up the stairs to the first floor you will find a hallway bath and three bedrooms: The first bedroom with a king bed and a smart tv and the second bedroom with a queen bed. The Third bedroom is a master bedroom featuring a king bed, this room sits at the end of the hall with an en suite bath, smart tv and private balcony. Off of this room is a sweet surprise of a cozy nook with custom built twin over twin bunk beds.


On the second floor, you have the main living area, kitchen, a Queen bedroom, and a hall bath. The living room also has access to the balcony, with a swing to enjoy the gulf views. Enjoy a meal together at the custom built dining room table for 10. 


Our kitchen is stocked with everything we think you'll need during your vacation with us. Dishwasher, microwave, blender, coffee maker, crock pot, dishes/silverware, a good selection of cookware, utensils, glassware, and much more!


 Merry Mermaid is a non smoking unit, and is pet friendly for an additional fee for $150 per pet, max 2. (dogs only please) Bookings through a third party site (VRBO), will have this fee added onto your reservation at the office.

The Loggerhead Run Bike Path is an eight mile trail on Cape San Blas that runs the length of the Cape from St. Joseph Peninsula State Park to Salinas Park along Hwy 30E/Cape San Blas Road, and is great for walking, jogging or biking and is just on the main road up from the unit.


Your reservation includes a $250 credit for beach gear! Choose from bikes, coolers, beach chairs/umbrellas, beach wagons, kayaks, paddleboards, and more. Best part, its delivered to the unit and is waiting for you upon your arrival.  


This unit rents for a full week during the holidays (Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's) and the Spring, Summer, and early Fall.  ( September 30th)

Guest Access:
There will be a guest information book inside of the home with local area info, restaurants, etc.

San Dunes Policies

The following are policies that should be followed by owners and communicated to any guests or
renters.
1. Animals are not allowed in the San Dunes pool.
2. Animals should be on leashes at all times.
3. Owners and guests may walk on the right of way and the easements, not across private
property.
4. The pathways to the boardwalks between Lots 1 and 2 and Lots 3 and 4 must be kept clear.
Cars may not park in the easements to the boardwalk nor may equipment be placed in the
walkway.
5. Cars may not park on the easement or on another owner’s private property. NO cars may use
the driveways leading to the boardwalks unless they are of the owners/renters of the houses
owning those driveways.
6. Music and loud noises should cease by 10:00 p.m.
7. All pool rules should be followed.
8. Trash cans should be moved back to the house on the day of trash pickup.
9. Any exterior lighting on a homeowner’s property shall be turned off by 10 PM and may not be
left on overnight. (During Turtle Season, May – Oct 31, outside lights must be off at sundown,
however, if pool lights are not visible past the pool enclosure, they can they stay on until
10:00.)
10. No boats, trailers, or motor homes shall be stored on any Lot, except underneath a structure in a
place that is concealed with screening or foundation walls. (Covenants Article VII. F. 1.)
11. Shark fishing is prohibited by San Dunes residents and renters in and around San Dunes.
12. The pool has a capacity of 15 people. Guests and residents should use the pool for no more
than 2 hours at a time and may not leave items at the pool when they leave.
