We have worked tirelessly to make our place a peaceful retreat for your enjoyment. Everything you see was done by us and our two children. No contractor, no handyman! We enjoy creating spaces that are unique and inspiring. As travelers ourselves, we have put attention to every detail of our place. From the moment you enter the gates of our home, you will feel the peace and relaxation that the desert offers. We are sure you will enjoy your stay at Finca Tecolote.

Miksi majoittaja valitsi tämän majoituspaikan

We came across this property when we stayed here as guests. After our stay, we left with a dream of someday owning a piece of land in the desert. A few weeks after our stay our former host called us to complain about a pet that had caused some damage to their place. While we did not bring a pet, it was the perfect opportunity to get to know them.
As soon as he mentioned he was considering selling the property, we immediately made an offer. God was on our side, as our offer was accepted, and just like that, we got our little piece of desert heaven.

Our property is unique in that we have many beautiful Joshua Trees right on the property. Many homes in the area, even in Joshua Tree don't have a single tree on their property. Here they are in abundance. Full-size swimming pool, unlike most local places that will advertise as having a pool yet the pool is cowboy tubs that is one foot tall in water and tend to get hot during the summers. We have a true, large-size, in-ground swimming pool for hot summer days. While cowboy tubs are cool for a one-second IG post, can you imagine getting in one of those in the desert heat! Finally, stargazing is also endless and one of a kind and you can do so while in the hot tub. The night sky here is absolutely spectacular!
