Beautiful home with lots of character.

Beautiful and unique home in a great location, walking distance from Duval and the waterfront, but also on a quiet well manicured street next door to a beautiful church/community center, Williams Hall. The outdoor courtyard and pool area were perfect for gathering for meals or socializing. There is ample poolside seating not reflected in the photos. The well appointed separate kitchen was such a treat. All the beds were very comfortable and the furniture and decor were beautiful. The two upstairs bedrooms are wonderful and share a very spacious bathroom. The property manager was responsive, professional, and extremely accommodating. I have only a few complaints. The downstairs master bathroom is very small with no vanity space, the outdoor bathroom is not air conditioned, and the bedrooms could use mirrors for convenience in getting ready. Overall I would say this is a wonderful Key West home and we plan to return.

Nice but online description is misleading and incomplete

No property manager. When I arrived: 1) Bedroom 4 has an independent A/C, which was not working. The room was unusable until March 24 when new A/C unit was installed. The owner knew it wasn’t working before I arrived but I wasn’t told. 2) Bedroom 1 had a king bed but no closet or dresser. 3) Bedroom 1 had a TV but no Remote control. Owner ordered one and it arrived March 28. 4) Bedrooms 2 & 3. Skylights with no coverings. 5) Bedrooms 2 & 3. Jack & Jill bathroom, which is not mentioned or obvious on the web site, so couples had to share the bathroom. Awkward! 6) Description of “separate kitchen and guest house.” I had no idea this meant that the kitchen is attached to the house but you can't get to it from the house. You have to go outside. It sounds like a guest house with a separate kitchen not the ONLY kitchen. 7) Toaster didn’t work. 8) Filter light on refrigerator was on. 9) Roku in Bedroom 4 didn’t turn the TV on. 10) For repairs, such as cracked window and non-working fan, I was asked to be home or to give access when I wasn’t home to workmen I didn’t know. This is a property manager’s job not a renter’s. The owner was responsive but he didn't personally handle the issues. The house was nice and pool was very good but I will never rent from VRBO again. I have rented many homes and photos on the web sites were always perfect. Not the case at all with this rental and just so many things needed to be fixed.

Great location and special property

The charm of the house combined with the location and the ease of use made this an outstanding experience. The layout of the house offered space for everyone while drawing everyone together around the beautiful pool. The owner was communicative and thorough and a pleasure to work with on any questions. We will certainly be back!

418 William is an absolutely beautiful property. We walked inside and bought it on the spot. It felt Peaceful and comfortable.

The location works perfect for us. There are neighborhood businesses all around so we can live live locals without have to get into the touristy part of the town. We love how the house flows and how the kitchen is separated from the main house. It works great for entertaining and keeps the heat and smells from the bedrooms. The outdoor dining space is incredible, we eat every meal at home out there. The guest house is perfect to give friends privacy and the Pool is fabulous- cant wait to get back down there!!
