The Space:
Treehouse Grove is a treehouse resort designed and built by the “Treehouse Master,” Pete Nelson. The Moosewood is one of Treehouse Grove’s newest treehouses! This 3-bedroom cabin-style treehouse is a luxurious way to experience nature. This treehouse upholds the amenities you’ve become accustomed to such as high-speed Wi-Fi, a bathroom fit with a shower, heating and cooling, a tiny-home kitchen, your favorite streaming channels, and access to our community hot tubs!
The Moosewood is your perfect treehouse getaway in Gatlinburg, Tennessee! As you enter this treehouse, you will find a well-equipped tiny-home kitchen including a fridge, microwave, dual hotplate, coffee pot, utensils and more. With a queen bed in the master bedroom, a queen bed in the loft, another queen bed in the second bedroom and a pull-out leather sofa, this treehouse comfortably sleeps 6-8. On the deck is a freestanding screened-in dining porch with a table that seats 8 – perfect for enjoying your breakfast and taking in the STUNNING view of the Smoky Mountains! Take a dip in one of our community hot tubs or enjoy all that Gatlinburg has to offer!
Layout:
You'll park in a paved lot right outside your treehouse and enter via a ramp. When you enter the treehouse, you’re welcomed by the beautiful views, which you can easily enjoy when perched on one of the outdoor seating areas. Inside, the main floor is an open concept living and tiny-home kitchen. There are 2 bedrooms on the main floor and a loft with a queen-sized bed up top.
Guest Access:
This treehouse has keypad entry using a code provided via email before your stay. While this allows for no-contact entry, feel free to stop by our general store and visit with us and get some fan gear!
The Neighborhood:
Our treehouses are in the ideal spot for those wishing to explore Gatlinburg! While you feel hidden among the trees, you’ll be able to easily access city life in Gatlinburg. Our treehouse resort is near Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge & Sevierville, TN.
Some local favorites and nearby attractions include Dollywood, Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies, Gatlinburg SkyLift Park, The Island in Pigeon Forge, The Titanic Museum Attraction, The Hollywood Wax Museum, The Old Mill Restaurant, The Gatlinburg Space Needle, Anakeesta, and Ober Gatlinburg.
We also have several hiking trails, horseback riding, picnic and camping facilities, and more close by!
Getting Around:
Taxi services, Uber, Lyft are available. Downtown Gatlinburg offers trolley service. There is ample public parking available for driving around the area.
In addition, our office is at the Welcome Center/General Store at Norton Creek. Feel free to stop by! We offer souvenirs and everyday items.
Other Things to Note:
While we love our furry friends and this is a pet friendly property, we do have a few things to know:
- We ask that you keep them off the bed, pickup after them outside, and prevent them from 'marking' anything inside. If excessive hair or urine is found inside, we will contact you regarding any necessary fees.
- And finally, we do require you to disclose that you're bringing a pet as we have a $100 pet fee, per pet. Limit of 2 animals at this property.
